Route 290 American Sports Grill

We had to make a decision on where we would go for dinner and after having a wonderful lunch last week we came to Routh 290. there were 5 of us, our daughter, her husband and son and my husband. We all had mostly different meals, but everyone said how great the food tasted. I did want to mention our amazing waitress, Sara. Her smile, kind words and most of all the sincere concern to make sure we were treated well throughout our stay. This is defiantly a restaurant you need to try if you have not already done so. The choice of food is great and everything tasted fantastic. If you are lucky, you will get Sara as your waitress, trust me she will make your time so enjoyable.

Tonight we decided to have dinner at Route 290. This was my first time at this location and my wife having had lunch there a few weeks back said let's give it a try. So my wife, daughter and her family came there around 6pm. Once seated we were greeted by one of the most friendly and caring waitresses we have ever had. Sara was nothing less than Amazing from her first words to our parting after a wonderful dinner. I cannot say enough good things about the quality of the food and most of all the fantastic service that Sara provided. You can be sure we will be back and though it looked as everyone was pleasant our fist words will be can we have Sara as our waitress. Trust me give this restaurant a try, you will be glad you did.

It was my husband and I’s first time eating at Route 290 and we were pleasantly surprised. The food itself was delicious with generous portions and our waitress Sarah, who was extremely attentive, made the whole experience all the more delightful. Sarah had such a genuine/authentic personality…it was almost refreshing since nowadays that attitude seems hard to come by. I highly recommend giving this place a try if you haven’t already; I know my family and I will definitely be back there soon!

I always have a great experience here. Great food and drinks at a good price. Sara always makes it a great experience with her wonderful personality and beautiful smile. Hey don't take my word for it try them yourself.

Love this place. Sarah is awesome. She is always so polite and personable and gets our food right every time. She also remembers what I order. I try to make sure she is our server whenever we go.

We had Sara as our waitress and she was so sweet and did a great job. The S&S pasta was amazing and so were the 290 shrimp. Overall a great meal.

Really had a great overall experience, great environment and service. The bartender Amanda was very nice and made sure all my drinks stayed full! Will deff be returning back here again

I had grits steak and grilled zucchini. Fantastic. Best grits I’ve had and I’m not of fan of grits!Everything was perfect and very, very tasty. Nice establishment too. Unusually not crowded for a place that has great food and service. Good lineup of IPA’s as well. Definitely coming back when in town.

Always grab dinner at Route 290 when in Duncan for softball. Sarah was the best tonight. Prompt. Humorous. Personable.
Honey soy sauce wings=A+++. Nachos=A+++ (if you like wontons over tortillas). Flatbreads=A++. Pasta=A+. Good variety nonetheless and can accommodate large crowds (hint hint softball families).

I go here often and I always ask for Sarah to be our server. She is amazing. The food is good and she makes sure everything is just the way you want it.

Route 290 has become a must stop when I am in the area for work. All of their food is delicious and the service is great. I absolutely love their smothered chicken and roasted potatoes! Great service, drinks, and atmosphere complement the awesome food perfectly.

OMG the best steak I've had in a while. I travel all over the US and that was definitely the top 10. Great food here and beautiful waitress. Service could be a little better but the food was fantastic. Work on that service and this place would perfect.

I Sat at the Bar after eating & Caigen made the Most Extraordinary Drinks for me. & always made sure my glass was full, Thanks Sweetie 😊

All of the employees at this amazing bar are incredibly respectful, attentive and just awesome. My child and I came in and just was very well attended too by the hostess. And then were also greeted by the bar tender Ashley and the manager Dylan. I would recommend this bar to any family or any person. Food is very original and flavorful. Service was outstanding will continue to come bacm.
