Loved this family friendly brewery/restaurant that we visited for the first time in N.Y. .... we're visiting friends and decided to go to this place with the young ones for an early dinner. It was a lovely day and the exterior was welcoming and comfortable with picnic tables and resin chairs. The pizzas were delicious and creative and the appetizers were tasty as well. The piece de resistance however was the excellent brews on offer. I tried three stouts and they were all delicious. I got a little taste of the "creamsicle" IPA, and was astounded by the perfect blend of flavors that heartened back to past memories of that wonderful flavor of ice cream on a stick. Perhaps the perfect day of sunshine and mild temperatures led to the exuberant feeling of pleasure and friendship that we all felt. But certainly the Common Roots experience was a wonderful one that will happily reside in our memories can't wait to return later this summer when we revisit our family in N,Y.

My husband and I had our elopement after party here and it was perfect! Chad was extremely professional handling the set up and details of our event. It couldn't have gone any smoother. Would definitely recommend anyone to have an event here. Easy, fun, and professional. Thank you!

Never let down with the food or service but the spot light of this place is their beer for sure. It was nice to see a variety of beer styles to try and enjoy.

A great variety of beer for any time of year. The food is always on point and the staff is very knowledgeable to help with a recommendation. What's great about Common Roots is that they're more than just beer. Their Foundation does a lot of meaningful work in the community and there are numerous events throughout the year. The new Bierhall event space is beautiful and I try to grab a bag of coffee from there when I can swing by.

I was told about their crispy chicken sandwich and I’m so glad I tried it on my first visit. Had perfect weather and the atmosphere couldn’t be better.

We held our wedding weekend welcome drinks event at Common Roots last weekend. The team worked professionally and accurately to give us the space and environment we desired. The event was amazing and the team was great with communication and giving us the event we hoped for. The beer was amazing, but the staff was excellent in making the event run flawlessly. We would promote Common Roots to anyone looking to host an event!

Common Roots in Glens Falls is a gem! The outdoor seating is perfect for enjoying sunny days with a beer flight in hand. Their selection of brews is impressive, catering to all taste preferences. The beer flights allow you to sample a variety of flavors, each one better than the last.

The snacks are top-notch, complementing the drinks perfectly. From pretzels to charcuterie boards, every bite enhances the experience. The family-friendly environment makes it a great spot for everyone. Kids can enjoy the space while adults savor their beers.

Prices are affordable, offering great value for the quality and experience. It’s a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere without the fuss of cocktails—just pure, great beer. Highly recommended for a laid-back outing with friends or family!

The service and atmosphere of this place was fantastic. Great beers and a great beer selection. I really appreciated how much space there was between tables compared to a lot of other breweries that really cram you in. Make sure to stop by for trivia! Probably the most concise trivia of all the breweries I've ever been to. Short and sweet. The food we ordered (which I don't remember what it was sorry) was good, but nothing extraordinary. I just wish this brewery were closer to where I lived!

Staying in nearby Lake George and had some of their beers at the Georgian Resort so we decided to take a short ride to the brewery. We opted to sit at the bar but there were also indoor and outdoor tables available. We tried several beers and they were all good but the highlight was the food. I had the Nashville Blues Burger which might possibly be the best burger I've ever had. It was made with a spicy pork and beef blend. I think I would make the 4 hour trip from home just to have that burger. We also had homemade chips and dip and a 3Bs Knees pizza and everything was amazing. We will definitely return.

Nice looking place, good indoor and outdoor seating options. Some really excellent beers, and a pretty big selection. Couple EV chargers in the parking lot as well.

Great location next to Hyatt Place and skyway to river walk. Nice outdoor seating and they brought water for our dog. Outstanding service. High quality locally sourced food and extensive beer list.

I've been frequenting Common Roots for many years. Their beers are a staple in my fridge, and I always recommend their selection to anyone interested. I highly recommend the pork schnitzel sandwich and coffee cup porter 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻

Again, this is a thing that maybe I would find it to be a common courtesy thing, but… if you’re going to be a self service/order at the bar or via cell phone, put a disclaimer of some sort for new visitors.

Overall, Common Roots was a very nice place to visit on a beautiful day. If you don’t know, there’s parking in the back.

The food? I guess appropriately priced, but one could argue it was a bit pricey. But I give tons of credit to establishments that support local businesses and have a small, concentrated menus.

Ordered the special of peach cobbler with chicken and biscuit. The chicken was the Nashville hot style, and got a side salad. The pretzel and cheese sauce was good, and the fries were great. Lastly ordered poutine fries. The portion was larger than I thought it would be!!!

Outside was dog friendly. Not sure if inside is too… had a local florist pull into the yard area. I also don’t understand those triangle coverings… but would recommend coming here!! Will be coming back.

Beer was great , service was good . Food was great. Beautiful place too

Big spacious place, really good pizza with local meat toppings, wonderful pork schnitzel sandwich with outstanding homemade potato chips. The beer section is daunting, yet delicious at every turn. We enjoyed our visit and plan to return.

Went for trivia and it was pretty packed. I ordered the Buffalo chicken salad and it was delicious. Pretty carrot heavy though. I also had a stout and would describe it as creamy and smooth. I would return!

I rented their recently built Bierhall for a large event. I cannot recommend them enough. I’ve been to their traditional restaurant and always loved it there. The staff is always amazing and friendly. The food is incredible. I’ve never had a problem eating there.

But the reason for finally reviewing them was renting their event space. I threw a surprise party and I honestly wouldn’t hesitate to use them again. I worked with their event coordinator Chad, who was exceptional. He was accommodating, responsive, flexible and above all friendly. I’ve never thrown a party for anyone before and Chad went through everything with me patiently. The food was great of course and the venue itself was gorgeous.

I can’t recommend them enough for a quick bite or renting out an event space. It made for a really special evening and the next chance I get to use them again, I will.

An excellent brewery! They have a wide selection of great brews from darker beers, ipas, sours, and lagers. I had a porter and lager, and they were both great! The food was also tasty. I had the Nashville hot chicken sandwich, and it was the perfect amount of spicy, and the fires were thin and very eatable. A great place to go and eat and drink, I highly recommend stopping in! It is also housed in a beautiful building.

Great place for a local really good brewed beer. Lots of options and choices. New building after the old one unfortunately burned down. New facility is fantastic and has a very friendly atmosphere. Love this place!

Their menu photos were misleading because their portions were actually good haha. My husband and I shared the poutine when we went here for (their) drinks. Good vibes, good poutine especially after a long cold rainy hike. I probably wouldn’t have paid extra for the bacon but my husband wanted it so 🥓
