One of my favorite ice cream places! The ice cream is so tasty and I love that they sell pints + quarts to take home. I appreciate the cleanliness of the business and the friendly staff! I highly recommend.

Great corner ice cream shop with homemade ice cream! I ordered the banana pudding in a waffle cone and the ole lady got a coffee brownie swirl in a waffle bowl. Phenomenal!
The shop was full of people both in line and seated. Even then, the line moved quickly and there was enough seating for us to casually enjoy our scoop. The ladies behind the counter were nice. Would be happy to return!

You just can't get better ice cream anywhere. The workers are friendly and in-between customers they were all busy bees cleaning and prepping. What a fantastic business. We stopped here while in town because we enjoy the Vanilla bean in Shipshewana. No disappointment here.

My friends call me Ice Cream Princess, and I can’t believe this is the first time I visited this ice cream shop. Love it, Love it, Love it. Creamy homemade ice cream, just the way I like it. There are lots of flavors to choose from, you can see from the picture, all four of us got our favorites!! If you are in Elkhart/South Bend area, if you like ice cream, this is the place you should go, highly recommended.

Ordered the peanut butter oreo and it was delicious. It was extremely creamy and had a wonderful strong peanut butter flavor. They also have the option to get a flight of ice cream (one scoop of 4 flavors). Great options, many flavor choices, and pints or quarts available too. Pints were $6.50 and quarts were $9.50.

There was a line the entire time we were there but it moved quickly. We got an ice cream flight with choice of 4 flavors for $10. It was very good. They have some unusual flavors. Definitely recommend. Will return again.

We loved this little shop! It was super cute, and the ice cream was DELICIOUS!! I had the dark chocolate, and it was some of the best dark chocolate ice cream I’ve had. We will be visiting frequently!

The BEST place to get ice cream in Michiana! I love both the unique and classic flavors offered. Vanilla Bean is also one of the only places we've found that offers dairy-free ice cream that still tastes amazing! You can make any flavir into a shake or sundae, which are definitely worth the upcharge. We have never been disappointed in service or product at VB! 100% recommend!

This is the best ice cream I have had! Service was great,the place is very clean and up to date. I'm telling you , you will not be disappointed. This is the best ice cream in Elkhart.

Both are the best ice cream cakes ever! I ordered online 3 days in advance and they were ready on time, going into a big holiday weekend. They made a classy Birthday cake too! (The Birthday & 30 glitter are from Hobby Lobby)

It was my first time and it was very good my husband got a triple butter pecan ice cream in a waffle bowl..I got a vanilla bean shake with Carmel for as busy as they were our time in and out was like 5 min so very good team work

My first time here and there was a huge line - it was a Saturday night and there was a Cinco De Mayo event downtown. The line dissipated pretty quickly. I sampled the Amish Peanut Butter ice cream and ended up buying the chocolate milkshake. I can see why there was a line- this ice cream is heavenly. Would recommend visiting here if you are an ice cream lover. I also saw dairy- free and sugar-free (non ice cream) options!

Had a delightful visit today. We walked in just after they baked some waffle cones, and the aroma was amazing. And then these combination flavors of ice cream are so satisfying. Must go here.

I’m late into the game on this guys. The undescribed feeling that pulses through you, when this ice cream slowly releases the flavors from heaven onto your tongue, drop by drop, making your body feel ironically warm inside. It’s a rush, everybody who has tried this ice cream has talked about it, and every face I’ve seen try this ice cream ,which we are now up to 5 faces, has glown and lit up from a joy of homemade ice cream goodness. I don’t know which cloud the angel who makes this Ice cream flies down from to supply it, but I know the tears of joy from experiences it brings her back down to continue. Great Ice cream great atmosphere great business!! Hands down best ice cream place around!!

First time in Elkhart. 2 nights, 2 trips to Vanilla Bean. Excellent ice cream at great price.
