Yocco's The Hot Dog King

I've been eating Yocco's since I was a kid, so there's a lot of nostalgia for me going there. I still enjoy their hot dogs and always get the Yocco dog—a well-done Medford hot dog on a steamed roll, with mustard, chopped onions, and topped with Yocco's chili sauce. It's a classic that never disappoints. I make it a point to stop by for one of these almost every time I drive through the area. Highly recommend for a taste of local tradition!

We were on a bus from competing in NY and needed to order and pick up food quickly! They let us each take the phone and order separately and had each order bagged separately! They were friendly, accommodating and quick! The UPJ volleyball team is very appreciative!

The food here was great. The actual location is cleaner than the one next to Cedar Beach but it’s a larger location and even has a drive-thru.

The parking lot was a little tricky the first time I saw it because there’s dividers for the drive-thru and diagonal lines for parking with what looked like arrows in every direction. What helped me was following the arrows.

Truly delicious hot dogs! Everyone was nice but got my order wrong and were a tad snippy that we didn’t already have the menu memorized. Old school deliciousness— I don’t eat hot dogs generally anymore but I will have a dog with everything every time I’m up that direction at Yocco’s!

Was looking for a quick lunch spot before heading to NY and decided to try Yocco's after seeing signs on I-78.
This is a 'CASH ONLY' place.
There are several locations and this location has a cool, retro vibe with a drive thru too.
Staff were super welcoming, restaurant & bathrooms were really clean and the service was surprisingly quick given everything was made to order.
We got two Yocco's Hot Dogs with everything, a beef sausage sandwich with everything and a small (2 pieces) order of pierogies.
The beef hot dogs and the beef sausage were cooked perfectly with the great balance of seasonings, toppings and condiments (hot dog with onion, mustard & Yocco chili sauce and sausage with stewed onions, sweet peppers, mustard & Yocco chili sauce) so the bread held up well.
The pierogies were fried to golden perfection - crispy, salty crust with warm, creamy potato filling inside.
There's also burger, chicken, fish, steak sandwiches and options for kids as well.
So glad we stopped, my picky
hot dog loving husband declared Yocco's the best hot dog he's ever had.

I’ve only ever been to Yocco’s twice, it was just as good as the first. Ordered 3 Yocco’s with everything, 2 cheese Yocco’s, and a bucket of fries. I try to stop in anytime I’m in the area.

I did not have time to take a photo but I scarfed this stuff right down. I got the chili cheese dog along with a cheeseburger and french fries. It is simple and delicious! I'm kind of picky when it comes to Coney sauce and I recommend it! I will be back tomorrow to try out the pierogies and go round two on the chili dogs!

These are so amazing. The chili they make to use on the hot dogs is out of this world. I definitely will be stopping every time I get supplies for my small business!

August 4,5,6 2023. I've been coming here for a little over 30 years. and it is unchanged which is a good thing. My kids have grown up eating yocco's whenever we go to Pennsylvania from New York. Truly a gem.

Update 11/18/23
Back for 2nds. Can't go to Pennsylvania without my Yoccos. Got there within 20 minutes of closing and made the trip to Hersheypark complete. Thank you to the staff for accommodating us towards closing and letting us sit and eat. Keep up the great work and excellent hospitality.

I was reading off the interstate signs at each exit and my son said "hotdogs". I never heard of this 6 chain 95+ year old hot dog restaurant, but I'm glad I stopped. Order at the counter, sit down and eat. We both ate and drank for under $10. There is a drive thru at this location also. My son loved the fries and plain hotdog, and I loved the Yocco dog with mustard and onion on the bottom and a thin great tasting chili sauce on top. We will go back. If anyone I know is passing through Pennsylvania be sure to pick me up a Doggie Pac.

This place is a hometown legend in the Allentown PA area. They are known for their quick service and good fast food. Their prices are reasonable and the food is hot and fresh. They have a limited menu and they only accept cash for payment

Delicious chili cheese dogs today with an ice cold chocolate milk hits the spot making it a wonderful treat!

I'm giving it a 5.. Hotdogs were good and fresh. Having said that, hotdogs are only $1.50 each and probably the best deal on a good dog. Update: went back a got 2 dogs with mustard and xtra sauce... perfect.. This place is becoming my favorite hotdog spot.. Back again and picked up 3 dogs with fries...

Whenever I'm headed down South, I always make a stop at Yocco's! Their hamburgers and hotdogs are incomparable!

Hasn't changed in 30+ years and for good reason. 10/10 for great basic food. Taste of nostalgia 😋

Haven't been to a Yocco's for over 50 years. They are every bit as good as I remembered! Thanks for the hot dog AND the memories!

them. 😋 I moved to reading but worth the drive.

Staff crushed it. Whoever is working tonight should become trainers for the rest of the shifts/restaurants. Amazing job.

If you want an old-school hot dog shack, this is it. Fantastic hot dog with great chili sauces. Pierogis were fried fresh and tasty too. Nothing fancy here, but if you want a great hot dog, it’s a spot. Stopped on a whim and happy I did. Affordable and tasty.

Mom and I were traveling to Hershey from Long Island, NY along 78. Been on this road many many times but never stopped for a Yocco dog (great big yellow sign on 78). The stop was well worth it! Tiny spicy dog on a steamed bun with this incredible chili sauce! I wished I got three! This is a cool place to stop anytime you're in the area instead of the typical nationwide fast food chain. Service at the drive through was fast and support pleasant. No wait. I'm stopping at Yocco's every time I travel 78 now.
