Rosendo's Taco Shop

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Rosendo's Taco Shop in Downtown El Cajon and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a welcoming atmosphere.

The food was absolutely delicious - fresh, flavorful, and authentic. The tacos were perfectly seasoned, the salsa had just the right amount of kick, and the guacamole was to die for. Not to mention, the portions were generous and the prices were very reasonable.

The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure my dining experience was nothing short of perfect. The restaurant itself was clean and well-maintained, adding to the overall positive experience.

I highly recommend Rosendo's Taco Shop to anyone looking for amazing Mexican cuisine in the El Cajon area. You won't be disappointed!

Mexican Coke, Fish Taco, with Steak & Chorizo Burrito very satisfied and filling. Nice spot found it aimlessly driving around. Plenty of parking and seating for around 16 people.

New to the area. I patroned this establishment. The atmosphere was cold, and there were no other patrons.I am not sure if it was the time frame I arrived at the establishment.The staff greeted me with a smile and was quite patient as I decided what I wanted to order. However, the food I ordered was delicious. If you love nachos like I do, please order theirs. I plan on returning because I want to try another favorite of mine, which is a shrimp cocktail, and I hope it is just as good.

I just moved to the area recently, and needed to find a new fav spot.

The portion size of the Carne Asada Fries were FAR PAST EXPECTATIONS. I couldn't finish them, but it was fresh tasting, perfect crunch to the fries and delicious!! This is going to my spot when I crave them.

Swung by for an horchata and let me tell you this is the best horchata I've had in a long time idk what they put in it but definitely need to go back for another

Ice passed this place manh times & never really noticed. I'm glad my husband & I stopped in for lunch. It very family oriented & I was curious about the price of 1 🌮...but omg THEY'RE HUGE & WELL WORTH THE PRICE🍽 I WAS SO FULL WHILE WALKING BACK TO MY CAR. I'll definitely revisit, they served LENGUA (beef tongue)🤤😋🙂

I've only had the taco plate with 5 street tacos. Delicious! They could use a larger variety of salsas.

Their tacos are stuffed full. No skimpy taco here. I had 2 Carne Asada taco's and those two tacos were a meal. Great flavor! The red sauce is spicier than the green, and tastier in my opinion. Give them a try!

I love local taco shops lol the building is small, and intimate, almost like a big dining room. These type of places make the best food lol i ordered 5 rolled Tacos. They came with cheese and guacamole. I asked for lettuce, but they didn't give me any. It's okay, because the Tacos were still AMAZING. LOL

Always delicious and hot. The people who work here are amazing love their food very much. When I dont know what to get, whenever we do want tale out this is the place we end up at.

The food was amazing and the workers were very nice. I definitely recommend trying it out! The quesadilla was huge!!

The place is small and looks run down but DON'T LET THE OUTSIDE FOOL YOU, they have the best food! The people are amazing, my all time favorite are the carne asada fries. And apparently it is a huge hit with the high schoolers for lunches too. 😉

The food portion is big you get your money worth if not more everything where food is concern you won't be able to finish your food you may have left overs for later....had a great experience !!!

The food is delicious you definitely get a serving worth every penny. 1 super nachos is enough for 2 maybe 3 people. They are very kind.

Great food and they give you a lot for your money. Its like a mom and pop place small but well known in the neighborhood. Been going there for years now.

The portions are very nice so will be continuing to eat here.

This place is by far the best authentic Mexican food in the valley. PERIOD. The service is always amazing. The people that work there are absolutely amazing and always. Do yourself a favor and go. It’s a small place with huge portions. I recommend the breakfast “forearm” burritos, the carne asada Taco or carne asada tostada.

Side note: I call it the “forearm” burrito because it’s bigger around than my forearm and measures elbow to wrist. #beastmodemeal
