Cafe Rio Fresh Modern Mexican

Walked in today for the first time and was immediately greeted by a friendly gentleman. (Possibly the manager) (Caucasian male, 40-55yrs of age, tall, black apron) He was very knowledgeable and recommended a dish to us which we were very pleased about! We ordered our food quickly and had a great first experience. The food is like Chipotle's but better! Really delicious flavours! We had Pollo Asado burritos, enchilada style. We will recommend to others and come back to try other dishes. I just wanna make a note of the superior customer service we had! It's how you want to be treated everywhere you go. Thank you!

The food was excellent! Ordered a burrito, halfway through I was getting full, very good portion size. Their tortilla soup is excellent as well. They have a nice assortment of drinks including sodas and aguas frescas. I highly recommend the horchata or the mint lime drink, especially on a hot summer day. That staff was all very friendly and attentive and ensured that I knew what I was getting, also very helpful in recommending their favorite dishes. 10 out of 10, highly recommend this place and will be going every time I visit the Phoenix area.

It’s actually pretty cute if you chose to dine in. I’ve only tried the fire grilled and chicken grilled meat wise and they are definitely superior compared to what I’ve had from a quick service place. I personally recommend the nachos or the bowls. Really good and good sized portions for the cost! Plus the people working there are nice only thing is if you want the fire grilled steak I would suggest getting it earlier in the day because the last 2 times i went they were sold out (towards dinner time)

I drive longer to go to this location because their food always tastes the best. Please teach Verrado and Watson how you make the shredded beef lol

I think they need to be educated about people with a disabilities Even autism You just can't speak to people with autism any type of way there's laws for people that have disabilities. My daughter had a texture issue with the bowl the lady refused to really give her a metal container that fit her burrito better It's a touch it could be a smell it could be a texture that can trigger someone with autism just before.

This location is so clean. The food is always fresh and delicious. The staff are all very friendly as well. The drive thru is super fast as well. I highly recommend this location.

We LOVE Cafe Rio! Everything is made to order and super fresh! They even hand make whole wheat tortillas as another option. Drive thru is always a breeze too and don’t forget that kids each get a free kids quesadilla! Hands down the tastiest, healthiest, fastest & most convenient meal around!

Popped in today for the first time. Cool dude quickly built my enchiladas, and the tall lady at the register was super nice. The wife and daughter loved the food! Will be back for sure. Fast friendly service, clean environment, nice selection of hot sauce and condiments.

Beans and rice beans, beans and rice. Beans, and rice is nice. I like Cafe Rio but I just come sometimes for the fresh salsa beans and rice. Oh and fresh tortillas to add to my already prepared meat. And for a super quick meal super tasty salsa,

This location is great. Workers aren’t stingy with portions and the place was kept clean and well maintained. Food tasted great too! Would definitely stop here again.

You will always have great service at this location! Though there is a location closer to us, we choose to drive the extra mile because of that. Staff is friendly and orders are always fresh and correct. The manager is on site always giving a helping hand in all tasks. He takes care of this restaurant with his heart and soul and truthfully it shows. We are a forever customer!

We had lunch here today and the food was excellent. The girl putting our order together, was being closely watched by the manager who was literally standing over her shoulder and that might have made her a bid nervous. I definitely couldn't help but observe him. She still did wonderful, as did the rest of the staff. Great fresh food and awesome environment. We'll be back.

The employees are so friendly. Asked them if they had any Birthday specials. They said no... But then when I was finishing my food, a girl employee came up to me with an amazing Tres Leches cake. Wonderful birthday surprise! Best customer service EVER!

John and Pilar along with the manager were awesome and super helpful and friendly. The food was stellar. I highly recommend this place. You can’t go wrong!
