Good view. Friendly staff. Not over priced. Good parking space.
Must visit if you visit the area. We loved it.

Wonderful freshly made doughnuts! Best doughnuts I've had in my entire life. They were crunchy and really hot. I saw the guy dipping them in the frosting. Add in some hot Apple Cider or hot latte and you're set for the day. 10/10

First time stopping here today after many times up
Visiting family. We are not donut eaters but got 2 apple cider donuts and we thought they were much better then any Dunkin’ Donuts we ever had. The sign is nothing like Krispy Kreme sign no clue how you compare them. Don’t even spell so it’s the same.
We will definitely stop for coffee again.

Waking up in the mountains with Fred's Coffee & Donuts is SPECTACULAR!! The service was absolutely amazing (there was an issue with the online ordering but the staff MORE than made up for it) The lattes and donuts were perfect in the morning sun on our deck. Perfect Catskill morning.

the best apple cider donut, and i'm pretty into apple cider donuts. i grew up in between two apple orchards that both made them.

crisp outside, soft inside, balanced sugar and cinnamon coating, and bonus points for perfect shape.

can't wait to try their other kinds. coffee is also perfect.

Definitely a must stop on your visit to Catskills! Beautiful views, fresh and delectable donuts, with the perfect cup of coffee to start your day. We were just visiting the area but so glad we stopped here, even took a dozen donuts for the trip back!!

Decided to stop by and didn’t regret it! Donuts is the entire menu, and they have some good options. Not one was disappointing, but must try the bacon & maple glazed! 9/10

The do not carry coors light- FYI. It’s a coffee and donut drive-thru.

Awesome doughnuts, awesome service. Probably some of the best old fashioned classic doughnuts I have had jn a long time. They have some cool flavors but we got a few classics and coffee.

DELICIOUS! i’ve passed this a place number of times when we’ve been up in Tannersville, but it was an open. Finally stopped in and oh my I understand why there was a line outside now. We ordered:

- classic glazed donut 🌟 it’s out of this world!! It’s light fluffy perfectly fried with a glaze that sits on top which I found unusual but delicious. I think it’s actually an apple cider doughnut that’s been fried again because it doesn’t taste like a regular donut but it tasted different from the hot apple cider donut which we also ordered. It was red because we went on Christmas Eve.
- Hot apple cider doughnut, which tastes a little sweeter than a regular apple cider doughnut, and not quite as light as the classic glazed donut. Still good but not as good.
- maple latte. Super sweet but fine to try once.

There’s a drive up window which we used just to try it out. There was a bit of a wait but I didn’t mind especially once I realized how delicious the donuts were.

Oh and one thing to note: you enter off 23a not the side road. So if you’re coming East from Hunter Mountain towards Saugerties you go past the sign and enter from the highway. Lots of parking there but if it’s full just park on the side street and walk up.

Totally blown away by how amazing the coffee and donuts are here in such an underdeveloped town. I visited here for the first time from nyc and this place even beats the coffee/donuts there. Most importantly it was super cheap. The gentleman who served me was also very friendly.

Drive though done right on the mountaintop has been a long time coming. Fred's donuts are super tasty and the service is quick!
