The Exile beer cheese on the cheesesteak was so amazing. And the Parmesan truffle fries are a very worthy $2 upgrade on the side. Beer is, of course, first class.

Great selection of brews and delicious food. The short rib tacos are very hardy and the lime crema is soooo good. The fries are really good too and the portion sizes are great.

We went for the Snow Globe experience and also my husband's birthday. Had to reserve a month ago but I'm so glad we did. What a magical way to have dinner!! We arrived at 730 for our 8pm reservation (made online) and they sat us 20 minutes earlier! The service was fast and the food was hot + delicious! The cheese curds were delightful, crispy and fluffy inside.. the Nashville hot chicken sandwich was huge and the slaw had a great zip. The Caesar Salad wrap was crisp and fresh. The short rib tacos didn't stand a chance lasting longer than 5 minutes. I loved that fries can be subbed by mashed potatoes, side simple salad or cottage cheese without an increase in price too! The GG seasonal beer is superb and pairs well with dinner. Overall a wonderful, festive experience that brought us in and the food, service and beer will bring us back again! Happy holidays!!

Great place, great beer, and great service! Had a good time there for lunch, and of course, I had to try a flight of Exile beer. So far I have yet to be disappointed in a single beer. Their new strawberry margarita sour was super tasty!

Delaney did and excellent job in caring for are table. Delaney was friendly, prompt and courteous. With her beautiful smile she made you want to come back. The Cheese Steak was excellent, the fries were warm at best. I will never understand why a restaurant goes to so much trouble to make a great sandwich and then gives out like warm fries.

Great food and atmosphere. Our group ordered some pretzel, fried pickles, and chicken tenders apps which were all excellent. I ordered the exile chicken sandwich which was fantastic.

Atmosphere was enjoyable and they had good seating for a large group. Wasn’t very busy on a Tuesday night. I found parking on the street which requires having the ParkDSM app to pay for it.

My husband and I have been going to Exile for years. Exile is a go-to for us when we want good beer and good food at a good price. Staff has always been friendly and we enjoy the atmosphere. You can almost always find the game you’re looking for too. They have good staple beers and always have new stuff on rotation. No matter your beer preference you can always find something to drink. They got a new chef a little while back now and the food has remained good if not better than before. They keep their staple dishes, but there has been fun new additions that have also been really delicious. Last we were there I got the mac and cheese with steak and it was so good. Creamy sauce and the steak was so tender. Our favorite meals are the chicken bites (their homemade buffalo sauce is the best) and their chicken wrap with fried brussel sprouts.

Wow! Des Moines is lucky to have this staple downtown serving local beer and a plethora of food options. I especially enjoy the new and interesting monthly menu options. Plus, the bike parking is top notch if you're strolling around the Central Iowa bike paths.

Great atmosphere. Wonderful service and GREAT food. They sausage and potato soup was very tasty. I'm not a beer drinker but I went with my brothers for lunch and they enjoyed the beer. I will definitely return.

Outstanding food. 3 recent visits each with a different server and all 3 experiences were delicious and outstanding. Way to bottle consistent service. Doing everything right here!! Exhile Burger was my favorite of all things I sampled. Whatever you choose will be delicious!!

Food was delicious, service was excellent, atmosphere was energetic. We had a party of 20 (unplanned) and they had no problems accommodating us. I had the salmon salad for an entree and it was excellent. We also ordered and shared appetizers and they were delicious (cheese curds, Brussels sprouts, spinach artichoke dip, chicken nachos). One other bonus-they are dog friendly on the patio. We had our pup with us and it was no problem.

Enjoyed some tasty mahi mahi fish and chips with a gigantic pretzel and beer cheese as an appetizer! Our waitress was fantastic! I'm not much of a beer drinker, but I enjoy trying new things and finding something I like. When I asked her which beer she recommended with my meal, she was very friendly and helpful, and she brought me numerous samples to try out, all of which were very good. Highly recommend this place for the food and for trying the beer, even if you're not a beer fan!

We enjoyed coming here to check out all the Christmas Decor and food. The merry margarita was delicious!!!! Not too sweet and the perfect amount of tequila!!! The pretzel and cheese was amazing!!! We also had the Buffalo chicken bowl I believe that’s what it was called. It was very tasty we just wish it had come out hot … it was a little cold. The chicken sandwich was tasty as well.

Loved every bit of the experience here! The festive holiday decor, the holiday themed menu, kid friendly, excellent food AND service! And to top it off it was clean and the food came quickly! 👌 Definitely a place to revisit!

Been a regular of here for years. The beer has always been delicious and the food menu is always evolving. Had our wedding here on the patio and Michael ensured everything went smoothly. The chef prepared a great plated dinner our guests were raving about. Also, best happy hour in town!

Excellent beers and great selection. Food is really good, pleasant surprise as many brew halls dont really focus on quality food. Brunch is great too.

Exiles Brewing currently is taking your temperature before you go in.

They have a massive patio and plenty of seating indoors as well.
I don't think I actually explored the entire place.
Service was friendly, polite and professional.
Their food items looked interesting, but I didn't get a chance to try it. I'll need to go back at some point. My friends had the beers and reported they were very good.
They were on special that day for 3 a piece so the server informed us to just order them individually.

Parking is available in a small to medium size lot (its next to the patio). There seems to be side street parking as well.

Excellent place for our family of sixteen adults to gather for dinner and an evening of good conversation. The waitress was friendly and attentive from taking our order, serving our meals, and making sure our drinks were filled. This is a "goto" place.
