2022 Calcutta location: I would highly recommend Dr. Ward to anyone needing an eye doctor. I had a fantastic experience with her in the Calcutta location in 2022. After an accident causing a corneal abrasion (scratch on my eye) while visiting the area from out of town, I went to see Dr. Ward. She was very thorough in her examination, caring in her bedside manner, and went out of her way to provide excellent care. She helped to heal my eye quickly and as comfortably as possible.

Nice, helpful staff. Answered all my question. Helped with getting medication. Very satisfied.

I have been waiting over three weeks now for my contact lenses to come in. May I mention that these lenses are ONLY my TRIAL contact LENSES. Every time I call and ask about the status of the order, They tell
me they don’t know what is going on with my contact lenses. This hasn’t happened just once it has happened four times now. I know for a fact that when there is a problem with a contact order you can contact the lab that is making them and ask them what is going on and the people here are refusing to do so when I have already paid for all of it. The lady on the phone told me she’ll make a note of it to the doctor and whenever the doctor decides to look at it she’ll tell me. The eye doctor that I went to is in the building today so I don’t see why she couldn’t just walk up to her and say hey can you send them an email. This is absolutely ridiculous it has never taken any other eye exam place that I have gone to before this long to get contacts in for my prescription! If I could I would ask for a refund because after having to deal with all of this I do not want to go back there. If my trial contacts are taking that long I can only imagine how long it would take to order my main contacts

Was denied service for my issue even after following all required procedure. Very unprofessional business conduct. A word of advice to a potential customer. Take your business some where there is always an ACTUAL DOCTOR is on site and can help you. Here you will most likely be connected with someone who has minimum at best qualifications that will be more than happy to take your insurance payment and sell you eye products that you don't need in the first place.
