What-A-Burger #13

I have never experienced such an amazing atmosphere until today. Stormi greeted us and everyone had a great mood. She even came to our table to make sure the fries were crisp enought for us. I tried a witch doctor for the first time as well and let me tell you it was immaculate. My husband asked for extra pickles and Stormi was like say less. (So many pickles 10/10. Beyond amazing. I recommend the trip.

What a great little find on our way to the North Carolina zoo. The staff were so kind and patient with our three kids and their adjustments to the order. The area was very cute. Lots of seating. Clean, really good food and I especially recommend Hush Puppies.

Love it. Ordered hamburgers, fried pickles, hush puppies, onion rings beer batter. The cashier lady was just soo sweet. Stopped here after the muddy race and this really hit the spot. Clean and organized. We sat outside and the parking lot specially around the benches was very clean and well maintained. Will be back . Highly recommend pickles. We got a small side and it was very tasty.

This was a really great burger place. My first time being to Whataburger and I was impressed. It was really busy when I got there on a Saturday at lunch time but food was great as well as the service.

My first what-a-burger! And I was not disappointed....it was really big and good. It got a little messy but it's not good unless you get it on you! 😅 Great little burger in a great little town ...Mt. Pleasant...

Quick service and delicious funnel fries and special sundrop with pickles!

What an absolutely lovely place. I enter and order two meals for carry out. The staff was super friendly and very helpful and efficient. By the time my order was given to cashier who was multitasking another lady already had my drinks made. Both were sweet and obviously working hard during lunch rush on Saturday. The store itself had so much culture and character. Has clipping of how long store has been open. Has posting of military and local duck hunting pro. Fast service and food was great. These people leaving bad reviews are nuts. I have NEVER felt more welcome as a customer and never witnessed a small crew work so fast, efficient and maintain a super pleasant attitude. They can multitask and still talk to you like you are their primary focus. I will drive here from Winston on occasion just to bring my business. Thanks for the amazing experience. Mad my Saturday for sure.

This place is everything it claims to be. A good burger, sandwich, or hot dog with a limited but unique soft drink offering. Fries were good but I've had more crispy ones. I really enjoyed the double grilled chicken sandwich with pickles.

Whataburger is literally the best. I love coming here with my best friend zach and my little girl. They have the best cherry lemon sundrop. And I was very pleased to find out that you can order a cup of pickles. It was great. Such a happy place, great service, great food and drinks. 10/10 would reccomend. Honestly the best place to eat in Mount Pleasant!

We were the second customer of the day. Cheeseburger and onion rings were very good! I haven't been there in a while and was glad we stopped! Fountain drinks were good, and that's saying a lot for fountain Sprite! Atmosphere? Perfect burger joint atmosphere!

Great fish sandwich. And some of the best onion rings. And the one of a kind drink the witch doctor. Got to try it.

This is a pretty cool local place. It's not the chain restaurant everybody is familiar with. This is one of the original standalone restaurants. It's in high demand and it's one of the only places to eat in a small town so you're likely to have to wait a few minutes, but it's worth it for the small town atmosphere. The food is good and the place has old school diner feel. If you're looking for modern hipster ambiance and free wi-fi, this probably isn't your place. But if you want to sit down and grab a burger and a Coke the way your parents did when they were your age, this is a place to go. If you're feeling adventurous, ask for a witch doctor!

What-A-Burger #13 has the reputation of having the best burgers in the locally owned restaurant chain in the area. Historically, folks will pass a What-A-Burger near their home and make a drive to Mount Pleasant to munch on some of the best cheeseburger eatin' around. Easy to find in downtown Mt. Pleasant, you'll want to also order an extra hefty helpin' of their old time fat french fries.
