Try getting them to answer the phone. yesterday, I was put on hold 7 times; each time I was ultimately cut off without anyone picking up the phone. 3 years ago, I had a delivery problem--same treatment, but ultimately I got someone to answer--I asked to speak to the manager and was told she was busy. I left my name and number--she never returned the call after several repeated efforts. Yesterday afternoon I sent a complaint to USPS HQ. I later got a call from the Bloomfield Branch asking why I had called. I was at work and my wife answered. I tried again this morning and received the same lengthty hold, followed up by a cutoff. If enough people complain to USPS HQ, maybe something will be done about the arrogant way this branch treats the people its sworn to serve.

I had to ship a lumpy envelope to Japan. I printed out the forms online and then went to the post office to mail to make sure everything was correct. The lady was very helpful and took the time to review the paperwork with me. She said it seemed there was one copy missing, but we could work with what we had. She also gave me some of their pre-printed forms for next time.

Don’t get mad it’s just the people at the plant that case the mail. The drivers are good very good.

I dont know how others did bad here. Every employee is polite, competent & helpful. Bothered to research a bad address.

I'm here once a week and the staff are always friendly and helpful.

Needed to mail a card. I had to ask for tape because the Hallmark card would not seal. The clerk informed me that she would have to charge me extra because of the shape of the card. (Square). She was very nice, she had to put the zip code on for me.

Okay, post office! Birmingham location seems to be better.

Arrived at 8:40 AM when they are supposed to be open and they were closed. Thankfully my package was already labeled and fit in the after hours drop box.

Yellow Package-too-Large, Need to Pick up cards left in P.O.Boxes should have Post Office Hours on them and a Contact Number to call. Customer service desk was Closed; Saturday after 2pm. However, I could hear workers in the package sorting area working with music on. Rang doorbell for service numerous times without being a nuisance. They could have at least acknowledged what I needed or allowed me to pick up package. Extremely disappointed.

As a Federal employee myself I find it upsetting that this location has become so badly run. It's been moved to a horrible location it should have stayed on Long lake road my family has had a box here for over 40 years and we are probably going to close it. The disrespectfulness and at the holiday too they were very rude to my elderly mother who has a heart condition just because she was a few minutes before close to pick up a package. I hate to say it but it could be a race type thing or gender thing I'm not sure but they need to stop because we all work. We are all doing what we have to do every day they are not the only people who work hard. If I behaved as badly and rudely as the staff at this location I would not have a job with the Fed govt. I would be fired. Also, they have asked me to work in the US postal and I wouldn't not for all of the money. And it isn't just this location I've noticed it was bad in Royal oak as well. They don't want to do their civil duty they don't want to help people well that is the point of being in federal service. I get it the long hours the over work I live it every day. If it isn't for you then do something else dnt take it out on the customers. Where is the oig in this where are the watch dogs. They are watching the postal and they are not watching the DoL which they should be.

Staff doesn’t care about the customers. Wait is always long, nobody works very hard. They go thru the motions, but not much is accomplished. Terrible attitude for entire staff. How did you put together so many disfunctional people. They are a very bad group! Get a new manager at this location, and fix the service & atmosphere when customers come in. We do pay their wages…thru all the taxes we pay. The usps runs a deficit every year….we are all subsidizing this deficit thru our taxes. Please show some respect for the people that pay your wages & benefits.

I was standing at the counter for @ 5 minutes before the lady Leia came to help me. And when she did she looked at me like I was interrupting her lunch. Absolutely rude look, didn’t greet me, nothing. I had an Amazon plastic wrapped package that was going out and it wasn’t tapped. The woman Leia asked me to buy some tape to tape it up before it can be sent out. I told her I don’t have my debit card on me and I can’t pay for the tape. I asked her politely as a courtesy to please put tape on it so I can send this out. She told me that’s not her problem and that I need to step aside so she can help the customer behind me. Very unprofessional, rude and not polite. DON’T COME TO THIS POST OFFICE!!!
