Really good home cooking and excellent value! I'm sure I will be eating back here again. I had the fried chicken mashed potatoes and gravy and green beans.

Seriously Just like Grandma used to make. Vegetable are fresh and flavored right.

Love love the chicken livers 😋. Plus country fried steak. Creamed corn, fried okra are my go to veggies. Many many many years ago they had a strawberry shortcake that was the best I've ever had, anywhere! Oh how I wish they still had it available 😥

Home Spun is a little country restaurant where they serve an entree w/2 sides . And every day they change up the menu; on Thursday, the special is catfish. It's cooked and served on the bone piping hot but it's very easy to strip the meat from the bones. On Tuesday the special is meatloaf (move over, mama). You can place a to go dinner and it'll be ready when you get there. Rhonda is a doll (waitress, front of the house) who always greets you with a smile . If you become a regular she'll even remember your drink order. 😉🙃😁

You know it’s going to be good when the aroma of Sunday afternoon dinner at grandma’s house hits you right when you walk in. The menu is country comfort food, which is right down my alley. Our waitress was very nice and went above and beyond to make sure our table was taken care of. Everyone’s food was awesome and it disappeared rather quick. Definitely recommend dropping by for outstanding country cooking.

We love this restaurant! The food is excellent! We have been several times and will continue to go over and over. Their recipes are really home spun. If you like chicken livers, they make the best chicken livers you will ever eat. The chicken and fish are great too. All of the different veggies and desserts are also great. This is my favorite restaurant and I have been to many all over metro Atlanta.

Not from this area and I decided to swing by and grab a bite. Very welcoming and the menu is simple. .good southern cooking whether it's from a can or not I definitely enjoyed it. The fried chicken was really good..with a crunchy crust...I liked being able to season my own food. Sweet tea is yummy!!

I've been to Home Spun several times. Fan favorite of their cooked to order fried whole catfish, 2 veggies & bread for $11~Yummy!!! Servers are very pleasant, laid back atmosphere, and hot food upon table delivery. Daily specials of meat & 2 veggies for $8. Everything is made from scratch daily, so no complaints here.....

We love good homemade southern cooking. Felt like we ate thanksgiving dinner here yesterday! The vegetables tasted so good and the service was outstanding. The temperature inside was chilly and some of the food was a little chillier than it should have been but those are minor issues. Can’t wait to come back.

Great family restaurant! The service is remarkable and food extremely delicious. I drive from Covington to Sugar Hill just to eat here! I was a loyal customer even when they had their restaurant what I like to call a hole in the wall! So proud for you guys and love the decor in your new location. I feel like I’m walking into a treehouse. Took pictures so I could use some of your ideas in my back yard deck area.

I have been looking for a good place with country cooking. Believe me they are hard to find. This place was a hit. The decor, the polite wait staff, the food. All amazing. I loved the fact they used real potatoes to make their mashed potatoes. Highly recommend to anyone craving this type of food

Oh my God they have the best entrees, veggies, rolls, cornbread and deserts. I just moved to the Buford, GA area on February 1st of this year and it's my favorite restaurant in the area. I ordered the pork roast and gravy with mashed potatoes, squash casserole, mixed bread (rolls and cornbread) and the best sweet tea I have had in awhile. I ordered the fried green tomatoes and chocolate cake to go for either later on or the next day . Their prices are very good for a meat, two veggies, bread and a softdrink. I think it was $7.49, but the iced tea was a little extra on top of that. The chocolate cake tasted like pound cake with a little thin amount of frosting, but very good. I was expecting a lot of creamy gooey chocolate frosting, but that wasn't the case. It was perfect for me though since I don't need the extra calories. I will ne going there again very soon?

Absolutely wonderful!!! I ate here for the first time with one of my friends a couple months ago. Neither of us had tried it but we pass it every day on the way to school. We loved it!!! Great prices, great service, and delicious food. I love homespun!
