Kanti’s Bar and Grill

On the way back from Chattanooga headed home to Nashville we were hungry for something good.

Wow this place did not disappoint! Found this place on google maps under filter 4.5 and above. Thought well it looks clean and it got really positive reviews. Let’s try it!

The service was great! The chips and salsa were really fresh. One thing I can’t stand is old chips. But their chips were fresh and so good!

The food was really good! We started with the Elote’s Mexican style corn on the cob. Fantastic!

For Dinner I had the Pollo con queso, chicken and rice! My friend had Pollo Mexicano. She said it was fantastic!

The restaurant was clean and well kept! Talked to the owner and he was so grateful and thankful! Great food and great service, count me in every time!

My first visit to this restaurant was a very enjoyable one. I was seated promptly and the atmosphere was very clean and relaxing.

The menu had a good variety of dishes. I selected the Kanti’s Burrito off the lunch menu. It was very fresh and delicious. I don’t remember ever having rice and beans this freshly made anywhere else.

The meal was also very affordable and the service was outstanding. I am very happy to have this restaurant in the area.

Food and drinks were excellent. Clean resturant.. nice staff

My husband and I loved every thing about this place! Our first time visiting, but we will definitely be back! Love the manager Robert and the whole staff! Food was AMAZING!!!

Kanti's is a wonderful local restaurant. It's newer to our community, I believe it's been open for just over a year now!! Our meals are always prepared fast, correct, and always filling!
The pricing is fair, unless you're adding to your meal! I added diced tomatoes and more cheese to 2 Street Tacos and that cost me an extra $7, which I refused to pay!
But if I could give this place 10 Stars, I absolutely would!!

THANK YOU JESUS! We moved to this terrific small town & had just about everything we needed except a terrific Mexican restaurant. It was so bad that I offered to go into business with folks.
This place is a step above regular American Mexican Restaurants.
Sadly, no drink specials.

Had the taco salad, the daily special.
It was great. There was live music, and it was good (Country). Seated quickly and the server was great.

We just got home from a perfect evening. My wife, friends and I went to Kanti's eslpecially to hear Jesse Black perform. We loved Jesse and the food and service were everything we could ask for. I am addicted to Jesse's music. He plays the best of the old classic tunes in his own rich, smooth style. There is no one like Jesse. We went to hear him but everything else was wonderful. Jesse plays all across our great nation and we are fortunate when he comes home to Jasper TN. Thank you Kanti's and thank you Jesse. A perfect evening.

This place has been closed for a long time for renovations under new management. I'm happy to report it's delicious and better than ever.

Kanti's is a breath of fresh air! The food is awesome, the prices are very reasonable, and the interior is vibrant, fun, and creative. I'm so happy there's a cool restaurant like this in town now (no offense to the other local restaurants). The owner(s) clearly put a lot of thought into everything about this place...now I get why it took so long to open.

So these are all the things that stood out to me in detail:

1. The food is EXCELLENT and so is the presentation. It's so well done that I get the impression there's a real chef in charge of this kitchen.

I hate to compare, but I think this is the best Mexican restaurant in town. It's the best one I've been to in a long time in general.

2. The size of the menu was perfect. A lot of Mexican restaurants I've been to have overwhelming multi-page menus that make it hard to know what you want.

Kanti's menu is one large two sided menu with a nice variety to choose from with pictures of some tasty looking food presented in a way I've never seen before. And that's what's neat - that there are new things to try as well as the classics if that's what you're hungry for.

3. The prices are very reasonable and the same as what you'd find at other local restaurants. However, I would say you get a better dining experience at Kanti's because again, the food and presentation are outstanding. It's not served as one big pile of food on a plate. This would be a fun place to go on a dinner date.

4. I loved the dessert options and wish I'd have had time to order one...I will be back for dessert specifically. :)

5. I didn't try any cocktails, but they have an exciting list of fancy drinks options. I'll be back to try one of those as well.

6. Comfortable seating - we sat in a booth, my favorite! Who doesn't love a good booth?

7. The owner and staff are all really nice people. We had a new server and bombarded her with 8 billion peculiar questions about the menu, but she handled everything cheerfully, with patience, and diligence. She was awesome, I wish I could remember her name! We also met the owner - super friendly guy.

*** I'm very impressed with Kanti's and look forward to going back soon. They've really put together all the right elements to create a dining experience that stands out above the rest. It's no surprise the parking lot is always packed.

I also appreciate their sense of humor because the sign says something like "Yes, we're finally open." My friend and I got a good laugh out of that.

Absolutely recommend this place to anyone in the area! Food was delicious and reasonably priced. Drinks were a bit on the pricier side but the amount you get is well worth it. Can attest that the chimichangas and taco salad are definitely worth trying, as is the piña colada. The live music makes a great atmosphere to this bar and grill!

We’ve been twice in the past month and have nothing but good things to say.

The menu is full, we’ve enjoyed every item we ordered. She has ordered the Taco Salad with chicken once and then with Beef, enjoyed both. I’ve had the enchiladas - they were a great mix of ingredients, sauce and tortillas. I’ve also ordered the tacos and felt great about them as well.

As you wait for the meal, the chips and salsa are served warm and crispy! Good time. We will be back.

My first impression of this place is wow the service was fast. Food was absolutely delicious, I got the Taco salad and my husband got the chile Colorado and both were prepared well. Ingredients looked fresh. Salsa the way my husband likes it, not chunky. Will definitely be back.

The food and drinks are phenomenal and they've done a great job with remodeling. Would definitely recommend the street tacos!

Best Mexican food period! My family loves it here the food is very authentic and the staff is so friendly and wonderful.

First off this place packs in all of your senses. The atmosphere, the friendliness of the management and staff and the food! The food here is amazing and one of the most authentic restaurants you can dine in! If you are in or passing through Jasper Tennessee stop and have lunch or dinner here…you will NOT regret it! My new favorite place!

Just adding a place to eat in this area will get you 5 stars. This area has nothing, so anything that adds decent value is worth 5 stars. Impressed by my first pick up order and will return.

Nice sports bar, and Grill with Mexican flair. The food was good. Service was good great place to stop and eat.

Really good fajitas and serving size was large.
