Moski's BBQ

This place is amazing!!! I’ve been all over US traveling show to show, and this place by far has the best brisket and BBQ I’ve had. Yes, sorry Texas but they beat you.
Now, if you are a vegan like the Majestic Google Reviewer Eldon Begle, this is not a place for you. All good and superb meat has fat on it. It’s what gives it its amazing flavor and moisture. So if you are afraid of a little fat stay away from bbq places and continue eating your Jenny Craig on the go meals.
You want amazing food that will heal your soul body and mind… stop in in and get yourself some!!! Thank you to the amazing people at Moski’s!! I’ll definitely be back!!

Stumbled across this amazing bbq place on our way from Wisconsin to a concert in Des Moines. WOW is all I can say! Hands down, the best bbq I have ever eaten. The brisket was cooked to perfection, melted in my mouth. And the cornbread? Absolutely amazing. Met the owner and his daughter who were friendly and so grateful to hear how much we loved their restaurant. If you are traveling anywhere near Cascade, Iowa make sure you stop and try this fantastic food!

HEY ALL YOU PEOPLE! HEY ALL YOU PEOPLE!! HEY ALL YOU PEOPLE WONT YOU LISTEN TO MEEEEEE!!! Went there for the first time today and it was AMAZING!!! Soons you walk in you get the aroma of smoked wood (couldnt decipher flavor and didnt ask), there wasnt a long wait time for the food, and the food was amazing. I got the rib plate with mac n cheese and cornbread, the ribs were VERY tender and well seasoned I dont know what the bbq sauce tastes like because I didnt use much (true bbq dont need sauce), the mac n cheese was very creamy and just a hint of spice to me but it was good, the cornbread it seemed like something my granny or my mom made it wasnt dried out it was sweet and they had like a honey glaze on top. 5 stars across the board!! Cant wait to go back, my mouth already watering. The photo is after a few bites and i decided i needed to share a pic :)

The food was great. I had the brisket sandwich with BBQ baked beans and corn bread. My wife had pulled pork, potato salad and mac and cheese. Beer is available but just the basics. I will definitely visit there again. One issue was that the air conditioning was not working when we were there. The did open the side door which made a big improvement in the temperature.

I've waited 2 hours at La barbecue and went to Terry Black's in Austin Texas. Having barbecue this good right after I moved away from cascade rates among the most annoying things.

We took a detour to come try this place for lunch yesterday, and it proved to be the best decision I've made in awhile. I loved everything about this place. The menu was simple and easy to read, you got your food right away, and the sandwich and sides were overflowing. We all felt like we got more than our money's worth for food (the prices were very reasonable). My son said his beans were the best he'd ever had, and my husband felt the same way about the smoked Mac and cheese. If this restaurant comes up in your search, you should definitely give it a try. If we didn't live in Reno, I'd say that we'd be regulars at this place!

Best brisket I’ve ever had.

Added bonus — good ambience, and they had great live music the night we stopped in (a Friday). We were just driving through on a road trip and this was such an unexpected gem!

Good BBQ and nice restaurant! Baked beans are very good and have bacon, beef and onions in it. The brisket is tender and tasty very good. I love the picked onions. They only have sweet BBQ sauce though. Decoration is nice. I will be back!

Incredible brisket! I lived and worked in Kansas City for several years, and this easily holds its own against KC’s best. The meat was tender but firm, smoky, salty, and flat out delicious. The slaw was equally tasty, with the right balance of tangy, sweet and sour. The sauce is optional to let the meat speak for itself. Counter service. Highly recommend.

I'm really struggling to write this review . . . My vocabulary just isn't big enough to accurately describe how fricken good their food is. I'd been craving BBQ for about 4 days when we stumbled on this amazing little gem, and let me tell you, we were NOT disappointed at all. The staff was awesome & helpful, the decor was beautiful, the building was super clean and the food was absolutely phenomenal. If you're within a couple hours of this place, go - it's 100% worth the stop.

While on a business trip we located this place for a late lunch/early dinner. You can confidently drive out of your way to eat here! It’s so good!!! The beans are awesome as well as the smoked Mac n cheese. We had their homemade sausage and brisket. YUM, YUM!!!!
Oh, by the way! May I have your sausage recipe 😉😉🤗? That is some good sausage. Just enough of hot to give it some zip.
OH I CAN’T forget the banana pudding! Typically I don’t care for banana pudding but this is truly the best I’ve ever had!

The Ribs was excellent, fall off the bone, the two sides I had the potato salad and coleslaw was great full of flavor and great tasting. Just like grandma use to make.
Keep up the great job. Will have to visit more often.

This is a hidden gem! Make sure you try the chopped brisket, juicy and smoky. We also loved their banana pudding. We tried several other sides and they were excellent as well.

We just stopped for gas in Cascade & inquired about Moskis. We were told it was great. We both had pulled pork sandwiches. My wife had baked potato casserole & coleslaw. She said they were very good. I had BBQ beans & smoked Mac & cheese. It was awesome. We will ne back. Dave & Barb.

This BBQ is the real deal. They have great service and the food is full of flavor. The smell of fresh barbeque when you first step in something worth coming back again for.

OMG! The smoked mac and cheese was delicious, the beans were terrific, and the brisket was out of this world! The price seemed very reasonable for the amount of food, which was ready before I'd even washed my hands.

Holy sweet jeeeezuz. This was a lunch stop we accidentaly stumbled upon! I had the brisket with baked potato casserole and smoked mac -n- cheese. Holy DANG, this was delicious. Stop what you are doing and take a road trip. This is the BEST BBQ I have ever had. Hands down. Yummy.
