What a find! Had a girls day at Theif &Barrel yesterday and the 6 of us had a ball! Barbara is such a gracious hostess and is very knowledgeable. Can't wait to plan trip number 2 and beyond....

Amazing wine bar. Atmosphere is cozy , comfortable, and elegant. The owners are lovely with exceptional knowledge in wine and pairing.

Had the best experience here a few weeks ago. The wine was amazing and the atmosphere was delightful. My husband & I were visiting from out of town yet we were welcomed like old friends. We spent the evening tasting delicious wines and talking with the owners, Barbara & DiMaggio. They shared so much wine knowledge! We were served tastings by Patty, who offered excellent suggestions that did not disappoint. My only regret was that we discovered Thief & Barrel our last night in town. I highly recommend visiting and experiencing Thief & Barrel.

Absolutely amazing wine!!! Barbara and DiMaggio make the experience an absolute delight! Not only is the wine AMAZING, but the vibe is relaxed. They have many different kinds of wine education and tasting classes as well as teaching people how to make their own wine. Definitely a must go! But be warned....if you go, you will find yourself becoming a regular....just can't stay away. ;)

Wow! Great wine and great service. Barbara was absolutely amazing. Really appreciated how much knowledge was provided during the wine tasting. Loved learning about what we were drinking and where it was from. She really tailored the tasting to what each person liked as well. Great whites and really great reds! So nice to have a place to bring friends and family when they visit. Will definitely be back!!

UPDATE APR 2022: They changed their location and it’s fantastic! Demaggio, the wine maker, is a MASTER at what he does.

Barbara is the BEST. You’ll be hard pressed to find another winery with great tasting wines, a knowledgeable wine maker and overall niceness of these magnificent people.

Found this small winery in Lancaster and man, glad we did. The tasting room is quaint but the owner Barbara brings to life the place.

The ambience is cozy and intimate. After sipping their wines, which are all fantastic and chit chatting with another couple who appear to be locals to this winery, we walked away wine club members.

Several monthly memberships are available to choose from but rest assured, your time and money are well spent at Thief and Barrel. Give them a try. You’ll be glad you did.

My husband and I came here 30 minutes before close and were greeted by Steven. What my husband and I thought was going to be a basic wine tasting experience turned into so much more. Steven provides excellent service and details about all of the wines we tried. He also gave us a back of house tour of the winery which we were not expecting. He was so helpful and provided us with a memorable experience. All of the wines were FANTASTIC!! Would’ve bought every wine bottle if we weren’t traveling back to the other side of the country! Definitely a must visit if you’re in the area!

Oh wow they have some good wine... almost don’t want to give them a review and keep them for myself 😂 We went in 15 minutes before closing just to check them out, (told them we didn’t want to intrude, just wanted to check them out) and they did a full tasting and gave us a tour! You can really tell how much they love their wine... and boy can they make wine. I love their concept of making their own wines but also having other winemakers come there as well. I’m so happy I found this little gem of the AV. I’m also going to check out their winemaking class too.

The people here are instantly your friends and family, and one is even a nationally recognized sommelier just below master rank. They're all more than happy to share knowledge or just a great time!

Lastly the wine club entitles you to a free tasting every month with a guest, 2 bottles of wine, and occasional "library" tastings from wines.

Definitely must check this place out if you are interested in wine at all.

A wonderful experience! The owner is so inviting and personable. The wine is delicious and you can order personal charcuterie boxes! I definitely recommend you visit soon!

This place is amazing, it's my new favorite spot! Everyone is friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the wines. They don't serve food, but they let you bring in (or have delivered) whatever you want.

We love the Cabernet Sauvignon. The charcuterie plate is good but I suggest ordering ahead of time to get everything you want in a special order plate.
