Sea Shell City

Always worth the stop. Usually our last stop out of Mackinaw on our way back south. The 500 pound man killing clam is real. You’ll have to stop to see it for yourself. There’s a small playground for kids to relax if you’re traveling like we always did. Bring a few dollars and leave them there.

Great selection of natural and modified sea shells. Family enjoyed browsing the many options.

Bought quite a collection as well a sea shell wind chime.

Awesome place! We love Nautical decor and they have plenty. We also love wildlife they have lots of choices from wolves, bears and eagles. Postcards, shirts , books, magnets....the list goes on definetly a place to stop as there is something for everyone and prices are decent.

Been here many times through out the years, a person can spend hours in here. Get a Pearl, a T-shirt or any number of nick-nack items... Cool place must stop when heading towards the Mac Bridge.....

Very neat and clean. Very clean restrooms. Many many items. Home decor, many shells, nautical themed, children's books, clothing and tons more. Friendly staff. Easy on/off from I/75 from both north and south bound.

Incredibly reasonable prices! To my family and many others, it is usually the last stop before completing the pilgrimage to Mackinaw, always a memorable experience, and we always get a picture.

Went here after leaving Mackinaw and it is beautiful. There is so many cool things to look at and buy, we even picked out our own pearls. They were beautiful, I definitely would recommend 🐚

Stopped out of boredom. Nice place. VERY GOOD PLACE TO FIND SEA SHELLS. Greater selection os "Seashore" items then I expected. Woll probably stop again.

Sea Shell City is a place that is like a family heirloom, it gets passed down, through the generations. My wife & I, have taken our children here through the years, as her parents had taken her, when she was younger. My oldest is now 20, and my youngest just turned 15, and we came back once again, to relive the memories. Sea Shell City has something for all ages, from the wonder and awe that you'll witness in your little one, to even the wisest of us all, this place will leave lasting memories, that you will always treasure.

Despite the giant clam nearly devouring my children, it was a fun roadside stop. 5/5, will return for pirate gear and dried starfish.

This place was beautifully organized. Easy to navigate, and surprisingly affordable. There was so much to look at, there is no way you'll walk out empty handed.

This place has been around for ever! My entire life I have stopped here when in the area. You must go see the 500 lb man eating calm, plus there is curios.

This store is always a delight to go to and it has a little something for everyone...from the wildlife lover to the shell collector to the lake and beach lovers. It never disappoints. I always love to look through the store. The items made from shells, the pirate corner, the nautical inspired items. They also have curiosities and trinkets for every budget. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. And you can even pick out a piece of jewelry, pick an oyster, and get a pearl.

If you have kids, outside of the store is a pirate ship they can climb complete with a slide. They are a seasonal store, so they do close up for the fall and winter and reopens again in the spring.

Been coming here since I was a little girl. Very reasonable prices, friendly staff, and family-oriented shop. Will always love Sea Shell City!
