Ray's sunset pizza

It's our first time at Harvey Cedars (in February!) and we arrived famished. A quick google search revealed that Ray's was open and serving. We only had an hour to eat, but luckily it was just 2 minutes down the Boulevard. Not only was the pizza served hot and fresh within minutes of our order --- with some of the freshest, crispiest, lightest, airy delicious crust I've ever tasted! -- but the friendly owner/server gave us an extra slice on the house! It was the most amazing chicken bacon ranch pizza I've ever had. We are Ray Sunset pizza fans for life!

I can tell Rays uses a very high quality cheese and combines it with a thin crust. A great combination for an amazing pizza The best on LBI

Ok we are guilty. While we are residents of Harvey Cedars. we were charmed by the lore of high end pizzerias and thus tried several other local establishments prior to landing on this gem (aka Rays Sunset Pizza). Its not about the money its about the quality of the ingredients. after disappointment from said high end pizzerias, we ended up at this humble gem. My spouse has a medical issue that requires us to not have red sauce on pizza. By trial and error we have learned that white pies are boring in most pizzerias. They are mostly an after thought. We called up Rays Sunset Pizza on an uneventful night and ordered a custom pie that we never thought they would accommodate because no else would. How surprised were we that they completely accommodated us. OMG. best pie of our life. Their ingredients are fresh, well balanced, and they are so accommodating. seriously, this is the best pie we ever had (we are not giving away the ingredients as it belongs to Rays). We can not say enough about this place and we are used to authentic NYC pizza for 30 years. You haven't fully experienced the north end of the island until have ordered from this high quality take out restaurant.

I’m ve ordered pizza from Rays multiple times and always so good. My son had his two year old birthday and Ray went out of his way to give him a scoop of birthday cake ice cream.

Most of the poor reviews you see are from the previous owner years ago who honestly was not a good human. Ray is a staple on the island (and Harvey cedars!!!) and I’m happy to gladly support his hard work and good food. Highly Recommend!!!

Came to LBI for the day and while driving out happened upon Rays Sunset Pizza! What luck, it was the perfect pizza!! Thin extra crispy and so tasty! Super friendly happy workers & owners! Stop by for great pizza!!

The large slices are a plus and the pizza overall tastes great. I go here often with my folks and we love it. They also serve delicious ice cream and milkshakes. The new owner works hard to deliver quality food and I would definitely recommend this place if you want great pizza & ice cream.

Food was so tasty and quick and they were so nice! Will definitely come back! Inside was cute and we sat outside and ate.

I love Ray's Sunset Pizza! By far the best slice you can get on the island! Employees are the sweetest, love the owner Ray! He always goes above and beyond for his customers. They also sell delious ice cream! Super cute and clean inside aswell. Love having this shop in walking distance from me!

This place is amazing!! The food is delicious and the staff is super friendly. Ray (the new owner) has made the place look great, keeps it super clean in there and makes incredible pizza! I will be 100% be going back

I hate to make this place more crowded, but it is the best pizza on LBI! Give them time for your order. Try the grandma and enjoy.

Best place to get pizza been here 5 times in the past 4 weeks staff is friendly nice they gave us free drinks a box of wings for free one time and garlic knots for free one of my favorite pizza places I've been to so far second closest place to get food walking distance from where I work

The pizza was delicious and the staff was more than friendly. They helped me out in a jam at 10:30 when no one else was open near barnegat light.
