It nice post office for the area

I send mail every week, the desk staff is friendly.

Mail people are nice and I really like the people who usually deliver the mail there always nice to me and my family

Cheryl Kissinger postmaster located at 14 Tunnel St., Lansford, Pennsylvania 18232. I have packages from eBay that's going out late because Cheryl Kissinger closed early. I knocked on the door and she ignored me and the other customers. She made eye contact with us. I asked her why she closed early her response was that she's the postmaster. So I asked her because you're the postmaster you can do whatever you want and close early. Her response was I guess. She is rude and inconsiderate to the people in Lansford town. I don't trust her with providing any decent services and I definitely don't trust her with my packages. I'm requesting to remove her and have her transferred!

TERRIBLE! I went online and asked that my mail be held with their online tool. I asked for a 30 day hold. When I went in a week later to retrieve what was there they had no idea I'd wanted my mail held. They lost a week's worth of mail by either delivering it to the new folks at the address (we were in a layover at a relative's while waiting for our new house to be ready) or the mail was sent back. I asked again that it be held and 10 days later I got a letter and 3 magazines when I checked in. I asked that they continue to hold it for the rest of the 30 days at that time. Today, near the end of the 30 days, I called telling them I'd be picking it up on Thursday and asked if my change of address had "taken". They had NO mail for us! On a 30 day hold they kept 3 magazines and a credit card offer, but nothing after that! They said that all mail was either delivered to the new people there or sent back, no apologies at all. THEN they told me that changing our address online would take 7-10 days to "take". Therefore, we are out 40 days of mail! 40 days!!!!!, except the 3 magazines and credit card spam, of course. Worst mail service I have ever encountered!

Don't deliver mail in the right place or don't deliver it at all

Corrupt mail carriers that like to mess with people's mail and give to other people which is against the law.
