Loved using this ferry service to get to the island. The wait time wasn't long at all going from St. Ignace to the island. The sun was shining and the water was calm on the way to the island so it was a great day to catch the ship. We caught the 9 AM ferry which took us right under the bridge. I recommend doing one of the time frames to go under and learn a little history on the bridge. Recommend buying passes in advance too, to save a little bit of money. We enjoyed using this service and I am sure we will use it again when we come back.

I utilized the Shepler'a Mackinac Island Ferry Service today. To start with, they offered an easy to use web site to purchase tickets on. The web site also offered many different options. And at the hotel I stayed at, the hotel had a discounted rate. At the hotel I stayed at, Shepler's offered and pick up and return option which made it a very easy to handle.feature. The driver of the shuttle was great and the crew on the boat was awesome. A great value to get to Mackinac Island.

Fast, very friendly, good price. We took one of the scheduled trips to the island that included the tour under the mackinaw bridge. Online ticket ordering was easy, they have multiple shuttles going to campgrounds and hotels.

We took the ferry out of St. Ignace to Mackinac Island. Both to and from the island was an enjoyable experience. On the way back, it was lightly raining, but we still wanted to ride above and one of the employees was quick to grab a towel and wipe down seats for us. He didn't need to do that, but it was appreciated; what great service!

The ferry captains did a great job of getting us back-and-forth to the island. Sometimes I get seasick, but I did well both ways back-and-forth to the island. The crew were professional and we got a special tour of the bridge on our morning transport to Mackinac Island.

We went on one of the ferry rides that crossed under the bridge! Great experience, definitely worth making sure you choose the right time of day to go to the island!

Qe took the ferry out od St. Ignace. A wonderful way to get to and from Macinac Island. The boats and restroom were clean. Staff were very helpful.

It was a bit expensive ($20/night for parking) compared to others but the experience was great.

Shepler's was a great service. We booked our round trip with bicycles online from St. Ignace. Everything was very punctual, fast and efficient. They had so many people helping get customers situated it was great.

We were pleasantly surprised the night before when we saw a shuttle from them at our campground. Instead of unloading all our junk from the truck bed we gave it a shot. Called them ahead and the service was great. I was a little worried/skeptical about the return. When we were tired snd had a cranky young kiddo. Would we have to wait 15-30 minutes to get a bus load? Stop 36 times before getting to our campground? No we got right off and right on a van and we're away essentially immediately. Both drivers were super courteous. Recommend their service.

Showed up at about 10am worried we'd not get on a boat since we didn't have a ticket. No problem at all. Staying overnight on the island so chose long-term parking at $20 instead of dock parking at $40. Thought that would be a hassle but it wasn't. Drove to the parking lot and a shuttle picked us up within 5 minutes, brought us right back to the dock. Bought our ferry tickets and got on the boat within another 5 minutes. Couldn't believe it. Got to go under the Mackinac Bridge on the way to the island. Tagged our luggage and had it taken to our hotel. Effortless. On the way back, same excellent service. Got to the dock, decided to carry our own luggage this time, boat only half full, took off anyway, so lots of room to move around. It was great. Shuttle got us out to our car within 5 minutes again. I couldn't believe how smooth and efficient every aspect of the trip was. Customer service just isn't this good anymore; glad to see it is here. Going to Mackinac? Use Shepler's. You won't be disappointed.

I had a wonderful experience taking Shepler’s ferry from Saint Ignace to Mackinac Island recently. They ran on time and the loading and unloading process was very quick, easy and well-done. Their website provides all the information you need to plan your trip. You can even take one of the rides underneath a Mackinac Bridge. The FAQ section is also very helpful when planning your trip. All of the staff did an amazing job and were very nice.

Great experience! Fun and very helpful staff. Ferry ride with quick tour under the big bridge was cool. Very windy on top deck but they have an indoor lower deck with windows as well. No tour trips are 15 min and with your trips are 26 min.

A great experience! Shepler's was a fantastic choice in getting to the Island from St Ignace. Reasonably priced for a family and ran on time. It's very easy to get on and off and the boat was clean. I would recommend over n over!

This was a perfect experience going to and from the island. The docks must have been full on the island because on the way there they said we needed to take a little more time so they took us under the bridge for a quick tour of it. That was a free bridge tour included in our ferry ride. The trip was uneventful and peaceful in the top deck both times. I almost fell asleep in the way back to the city and it felt so good! I really liked the experience! It wasn’t just a ferry ride but an experience all it’s own

Excellent service by each of the crew members,..reasonably priced with free all-day/daytime parking when we visited in early June. Clean and comfortable seating in lower and upper deck area. We used this ferry to travel roundtrip between St. Ignace & Mackinac Island on Saturday & Sunday. Qe bought our tickets online, and it was a very smooth process overall, with timely arrival & departures.

Amazing experience taking Sheplers ferry to Mackinac Island! We decided to take the mighty mac tour last minute and it was amazing!! (Definitely look ahead of time; they only run that one at some hours of the day.) All of the staff were kind and made sure we had a safe and fun ride despite the rain. Highly recommend!

They have a free shuttle to our hotel (Holiday Inn Express), and we're very quick to pick us up and drop us off. The boats are in very nice condition. Their website was much easier than the competition to buy the family pack of tickets, which I never did figure out on the competition's site. But with the great shuttle service, I may have picked this company anyway.

Nice ride to the island. The ferry dock and operations were very efficient. Shepler's picked us up at the hotel and returned us with barely any waiting.

Great place , one of the best company to take a cruise to Mackinac island. Ample car parking near the dock in st Ignace boarding point. Waiting area with restrooms available. One way trip take about ~20 min. Boarding was quick and easy , staffs are very accommodative and informed. Price per adult is around $36 in person. The ticket is valid for anytime of all seasons. Online ticket is valid for that same season only. You can bring your own bike for extra fee. Last cruise depart from st ignace is 30 min before the one availed from Mackinac city. Same goes for the cruise to mainland from island.

A nice, quick, convenient way to the island. Friendly helpful staff. Great views on the top and bottom. For all ages. I definitely recommend this ferry. The children & adults both love it the same.
