Off The Grille BBQ and Soulfood

Y'alllllll this food was sooo good it made me angry. My kids felt the same way. We had lamb chops, catfish, perch and ribs with sides. You need to run there. Somebody's grandmother is in the kitchen. I meant to take pictures but it was smelling so good we inhaled it. Go to this restaurant.

Don't waste your sides by getting fries though.

Delicious. Very yummy food big portions for a great price. First time here and definitely was impressed. Can’t wait to go back and try more items on the menu.🤤☺

First time coming and food was Season well and it was delicious, greensworth greens were fire. I was kind of shot but the cabbage who ever could that put a foot in it? I can't say that this will be a return spot for me when I am in Michigan. Atmosphere was cool. Owners gave a great vibe when we entered into the facility. And through our whole time. I love energy like that when I come to a restaurant. Especially from out of town. Keep up the good work. You guys in a cool day taste like Kool. Aid wouldn't know sugar despite my diabetes LO. L.

I cannot believe I forgot to leave my review I went for my first time ordered steak bites with almost ever side on the menu, I was coming from like 35 minutes away ended up getting there like a hour later my food was still nice and hot and fresh and one thing for sure the food does not lack flavor and it's not overbaring but exactly how it should be, the gentlemen who greeted me was amazing I felt welcomed and I honestly can't think of another soul food restaurant that does it better, everything was good. I got small sides and it was enough for me to let everyone try some, yamssss are amazing peach cobbler is delicious I'm sorry but I can't find one bad thing to say...please try them!! It's home cooked food that you're used to on special occasions except you can get it when you want without being the one cooking it, I will be a forever customer. Thank you for the amazing food!!

This place is truly amazing, I felt at home with this place(From Chicago by way of Wisconsin). I say this with every bone in my body. You want Momma or big MOMMAS Cooking this is the restaurant you NEED to come too. This place is a hit promise💪🏾🥷🏾. Me and my Wife will be back

I feel like that everybody that is complaining about the food is either of pink skin complexion or they have high cholesterol so the doctor cut them off the salt Because this food is amazing the owners are very nice it is a clean establishment so what if the baked beans have pineapple I think it adds character I think it’s really really good if you cannot eat something then you should ask what is in the food it is not their job to say oh hey this has pineapples in it are you allergic. There’s nothing to complain about I went to culinary school I was born in the south the food is good the food is flavorful take this review for what it’s worth ignore the other ones and no I do not know these people I’ve just been there three times and I would not have even went back if it was not good

First time visit: smothered turkey chops - tender, seasoned perfectly; macaroni and cheese (perfect) and the greens (no pork - turkey meat) were awesome - not mushy - seasoned without being too much. Definitely will go back again

They took care of me and got me together rib lunch special was good and kool aid was on point great service I'll will be back best soul food downriver hands down 10/10 staff was nice and helpful thank you for your great service and food

Off the Grille is "off the hook!" Fried turkey chops are worth the drive and the dressing is the real deal (I don't play about dressing)! Prices are reasonable too!!

Amazing food and service. So glad to see brothers bring much needed soul food cuisine to the area. Everything is good. The fried food is cooked to order so it's hot and fresh. The soul food standards are delicious. My favorite is the smothered fried pork ribs, greens are out of this world and the baked beans...too many great things to name. Everything is really good.

Finally got down the street to try this place, I've been eyeing this soul food option since they opened. I don't know what kept me from ordering but man have I missed out!!! We got the ribs which were slap ya momma good!, they were loaded with sauce and man. That sauce, It is sweet to perfection with the perfect tang and spice to them. Macaroni was so cheesy, yams so flavorful, greens were seasoned just right! The steak bites were a stir fry of deliciousness. I can't wait to order again.... only downside is your food runs out!

I had the fried perch and it was cooked to perfection. Very delicious. The sides were all very tasty maybe even a little too tasty to finish but I loved it. I had the collard greens and baked beans. I finished my greens by separating them from the juices. They ran out of cornbread and I was disappointed ☹. They didn't offer us a piece of cake in exchange for not having any bread. 🍰. My partner had the fried wings macaroni and candy yams. The Mac and cheese is the best!!!!! The yams really are very sweet like Candy 🍭🍬 Overall it was a good meal. Reminds me of homemade.

The food is A-1; I mean, it tastes like mom's home-cooked meal.
