Alaturco Gyro

My new go to restaurant! The food is incredible, we have been getting one of each gyro platter and share so we can get a bit of everything. The pita bread is so fresh and delicious, the falafel is perfect, and you have to get the tiramisu as a little sweet treat for after.

I also really appreciate how they’re open a little bit later than most other restaurants so it’s more accessible to those who work until later in the evening.

The Gyros at Alaturco are a true delight for anyone who appreciates authentic Mediterranean flavors. Each bite was a delicious journey that left me wanting more. If you're in the mood for a culinary adventure, their Gyros are sure to satisfy your cravings.

In addition to the Farmers Market location, Alaturco also has a restaurant in Ballston Spa, New York. I am looking forward to my next visit there this week to explore more of their traditional offerings. If my experience at the market is any indication, I know I'm in for a treat.

We had driven by and stopped in, got a chicken gyro sandwich and a lamb/chicken platter. It was definitely on par, and the 2 ladies working were so nice, quick with the order as well. Everything was freshly made on the spot. We dug in so quickly, that I forgot to take the picture ahead of time 😕 I would go again for sure.

There's not enough stars to rate this place?❤ The food was so yummy, and the people were friendly. I was warm and happy! The gyro was perfect and the baklava was beyond all expectations.

Drove 30+ mile to taste their food, I ordered chicken gyro sandwich for first time and everything was pretty good.
wish they had bread options too choose 🙂
next time i will try lamb sandwich and baklava.

Top-notch bakhlava and shawerma of the entire Capital District area! Truly a diamond rose of the Orient in the midst of the upstate, a must-visit place for any self-respecting connoisseur of Mediterranean cuisine. Cordial service and authentic atmosphere will complete your exquisite experience.

Gyro sandwich and gyro platter is amazingly delicious.

This was our first experience with this restaurant. We had wanted to stop here for a while. The food was amazing! The staff were just as amazing! Can't wait to go there again! Please give Alaturco Gyro a try!

Loved it! Got the falafel platter - So tasty! The baclava was delicious. The portions are generous and the prices are very affordable. It seems like more of a takeout place but there are some tables outside and barstool seating inside. They have a parking lot, too. Service was great! We will definitely be back!

Fantastic restaurant! The women there are such sweethearts with such a welcoming attitude, they’re very pleasant, as was the food and service. Very lovely restaurant. I enjoyed my conversation with the owner, she was very understanding and polite, the food was the best Gyro ive ever had, wonderful restaurant 10/10 looking forward to going there again!

My first time going here after driving by this place for several years.. So I finally stopped and I got two gyros. They were amazing, however quite messy.. But that didn't bother me.

Great local spot, fresh made food right on the spot. Easily accessible with on-site parking and food app delivery options. The baklava was delicious!

We came for the baklava and also had the chicken gyro platter. It's very tasty food, and the baklava is on point.

I had a hankering for a gyro and this spot hits it just right. Lamb was delicious and the falafel appetizer was a perfect portion. Small and intimate set up on the main drive. I recommend highly if you have a craving!

Started eating their food at Food Trucks at the Lake, was glad to find their home spot. Falafel was great. Husband loved his lamb gyro. Stuffed grape leaves yummy, as well. Friendly, fast service.

Delicious food, huge portions and great service. We recently moved to the area and I was excited to find a Turkish gyro place nearby. The food tasted great, it was fresh and flavorful. The owners are also the kindest and sweetest people. I’d recommend this place to anyone looking for good food and quick service. Will definitely return!
