Dairy Queen Grill & Chill

Just literally left the store...needless to say super happy. Both burgers were fresh, buns super soft. When traveling and adding expenses, we find it hard to spend 15 dollars on a burger that might or might not meet the expectations on the hefty price. DQ never disappoints and this store is no exception. We met the owner and had a great conversation with her. We'll run, delicious food. Thank you!

We ordered take out. The cashier was very friendly and the food was delicious. We got chicken tenders, onion rings, a burger, and the Ultimate Cookie Blizzard. We would order food here again!

The employees were so nice!! My husband and I are truck drivers and had to overnight in Custer. My husband walked to Dairy Queen to get dinner and when he got there the lobby was closed. He called and asked if he could walk through the drive thru to order and they said yes (most places won't let us do this). Then after he ordered the lady opened the lobby for him to wait for the food because it was cold outside. The food was great and the employees were amazing!!

I have been to this place many, many times. The food is always good, and correct, if something does go wrong they will happily help you. I have always been gratful for this place ❤ ever since I was a little kid and they took us there for a treat. By far my most visited restaurant in town. It's the only one with a drive thru.

Yummy for your tummy? It was like a Jason Aldean movie. We were in the Custer location and customers stuck up for the worker against a rude coworker. My kids and I have went here for years as a family activity. The big meal with a sundae is perfect. The local in rapid in Campbell is also great. My dad and I painted the owners house and both locations are excellent!

Small store. Very busy, very understaffed. Food was good, and fast. The crew of no more than 3 were working hard.

I suppose this is more of a review of the crew working when we went, but they were amazing.

Oh my gosh, the food was awesome. So much better then the corporate owned one's and the nice lady who took our order was so nice and on point with everything. She needs a raise in pay for sure.

It’s not often I would think of doing a Dairy Queen review, but I have to give a mention to the best food service manager I have ever seen. Went with my family 6/23 and the manager was amazing. She was getting orders out super quick and even took time to check in on my family (with a young child) to see if we needed anything. I was super impressed with this person and she deserves a raise and at least some credit for being great at her job.

We got $75 worth of food and icecream. Everything was exactly how we wanted it.

Fast service and well prepared food! Great customer service as well! Warning though for tourists, more expensive than other DQs in Hot Springs and Rapid City. Can't blame them considering this is a big tourist area and they are the only one around! Still would recommend them!

We drove through today & we're behind someone who took literally 10 minutes to order. We we're going to back out & just go home as inside dining is closed due to Covid. I called the number & asked the girl who answered if it was going to take a long time to get our order since the guy 2 cars ahaid of us was STILL ordering. She assured me they would be prompt despite the long order ahaid of us. So we stayed in line & she was right. We had our order hot & tasty in hardly any more time. The staff & manager rocked today! Thank you so very much! They were professional & kept their attention to detail intact under pressure. Especially being a young group. A+++

The food was good, traditional DQ. What is amazing is the employees who work there. We were on our way from Texas to Alaska and stopped by there for some blizzards. We lost our wallet while we were there and when we returned 3 days later they gave it to us with all the money and cards intact. They have high morals which is commendable and rare these days. Highly recommend supporting this restaurant and the fine people who work there.

Food was great. Service was a little slow however at this time we know that everyone is hiring and who knows what is happening in the kitchen. They were really nice. The food was fresh and made when we ordered it tasted like.

Only place open after 8 pm we could find open after exploring the sites in the area.
The clerk was nice and brought the Blizzard to the table and they called out numbers to come to the counter to pick up. The food was warm. The burgers and fries were cooked perfectly. I was impressed with the fries they were hot and a golden yellow color., very big serving. The Blizzard was also what I expected and was loaded with the ingredients compared to DQ' s I go to at home. The prices were higher than I pay at home but the quality was better.

Stayed at Custer State Park and grabbed food in the drive through. They were quick, food was hot and tasty, employee was very nice, and they got the order right.

We we're camping and had to go in town for food . The lady at the drive through was awesome. The line was very long and before we got our order she had dealt with some very rude customers . And she did it all with a smile on her face . And treated us like we were her first customers .

Most of the restraints where full with long waits, and there stood DQ with no lines no wait. What can I say. Great hamburgers, great service, friendly atmosphere.

Yummy!!! They are one of the last Dairy Queen's left that still does butterscotch dip cones! This Dairy Queen is my very favorite!!! They hire the nicest kids and again I thank them for keeping butterscotch dip!!!! My chocolate ice cream would not be the same without it!!! Thank you 😊

Very friendly and prompt from the time of ordering. Glad the drive-through was open since the lobby was closed. They even turned the blizzards upside down. Delicious treats!
