Hoffman Firewood

I can’t say enough good things about this place. To start, we filled the entire truck bed with wood for an incredibly cheap price of $40. It’s enough to last us 7-10 days up here with a fire going all day and night. It’s close to our campsite which makes it extremely convenient, and it’s one less thing for us to haul. Not to mention, Keith, the owner, is one of the nicest men I’ve ever met. He’s extremely generous and always has a full supply ready for you when you pull up. 5/5, 10/10, wouldn’t go anywhere else. Keep doing you Keith. We’ll be visiting every year.

Keith is the BEST! Sad to say he has retired and is no longer doing his wood business. He told me today 6/ 17/ 22. Happy retirement Keith will miss you and your fantastic service

Keith is a great guy to buy firewood from. Very responsive, he has land that you drive to and buy the split wood on the spot. You get a good amount for the price. We got all oak in our bin.

Found this supplier when we arrived at the Double JJ on Friday May 25th. Set up camp and headed to their location hoping to arrive before the 6pm posted closing time. Arrived at 5:53. Keith was welcoming and immediately offered to show me to the wood supply. Since the bed of my truck wasn’t completely empty (rushing to get there before close) I had to hand stack the wood to make it all fit. Keith was happy to help me load even if he did show me to the pile in his pajamas. Sorry Keith, couldn’t help but share they little tidbit. The firewood was great, burned great, easy to start, couldn’t have asked for better!

Our family spends a week in the Mears area every year and we normally just get firewater by the bundle as needed. This year we found Keith and he made our lives so much easier! Quick delivery, great quality, and friendly service.
