I have been looking local for berries and haven't been able to find something with several berry options and then found this jewel. Although it isn't local for me, it was worth the drive. The blackberries were bigger than my thumb and had that sweet and tart. The young lady was so helpful with choosing the sour cherries, they are so good and are not a common find I am told. I will make sure to visit every season. Btw the fresh produce looked wonderful. A must visit and lovely drive

Love this berry farm. We picked blueberries and blackberries.
We brought our own containers from home, and they had to be weighed before we picked so they can accurately calculate what we bought. Signs said they had containers you could buy if you forgot to bring your own.
The staff were all so kind, friendly, and helpful and they showed us where we could do our picking.
They also have other fruits and veggies like corn, cabbage, peppers, plums, peaches, great beans, corn, cantaloupe...
They only accept cash, so come prepared.
This is an excellent place to pick berries with your kids, too.

There is nothing as good as fresh, locally grown, produce. George Schmidt Berry Farm not only has delicious berries they grow, but they also have fresh fruits and vegetables from other local farms.

Great prices, friendly service and delicious locally grown produce. Well worth the trip.

Absolutely loved this place. Was there to pick blueberries 3 years in a row and my experience was amazing. The berries were huge and very sweet, perfect for everything even eating just as they are. I made ice cream, coffee cake and blueberry buckle all turned out amazing with the berries as my main ingredient.

Thee friendliest family farm for the pick your own there is around. All of their fruit and produce is top notch. The fields are well taken care of and also good farm management of when to harvest and spread out through the growing seasons! Highly recommended.

A friendly farm with a wide variety of produce, welcoming patrons to pick their own (specified) produce or purchase items from their market.

I loved the open setting, found their rates quite economical and the whole experience quite relaxing.

It was the pick your own peach and blueberry time when i visited; found the peaches to be exceptionally sweet and blueberries more flavorful than any I’ve bought at a store.

If Justin Bieber discovered this farm, he’d be pressed to update lyrics and insert Pennsylvania in lieu of Georgia.

I enjoyed picking blueberries and raspberries right of the bush. You can not get any fresher than this. They also sell other produce that is not PYO, which also tastes super fresh. I thought it was a really good price for the quality of produce and I definitely want to go again :)

The best ….check their web site for PYO. FYI. their corn in the cob is the best I have had!

A treasure. We love having access to such excellent homegrown fruits and veggies so close to home.

The u-pick prices are reasonable and there is usually at least one available to pick all season. The small farm stand really comes to life with variety come July.

Our absolute favorites are the black raspberries grown, but we've also had great success with their strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, and blackberries.

It was a point of interest on our venture through New Tripoli last day of June.
I had berries on my mind and figured we would visit the farm.

Great staff.
Cash only!

Beautiful fields and fruit trees.

And the sweet cherries were absolutely sweet and juicy and unwaxed and fresh.

The apricots were sweet.

We'll be back to puck strawberries next week!

Best picking information on Facebook!

OMG! The very best of the best. They have so much pick your own. But if you're not into that, trust me it's great therapy, you can buy. Great place with loads of products. And a great place to forget whatever ails you. Sometimes I over pick because I don't want to leave

Price per pound for PYO was really good. We were still able to get strawberries which if hadn't of been so hit we would have picked more than we did. Cherries were very juicy and perfect for picking. Red Raspberries were not quite ripe yet should have waited another week. Plan on going back again next year!

Huge blueberry bushes with lots of berries. Don't take long to fill the bucket. I recommend boots some places are soggy.. but plenty to pick. Bush's are well maintained, staff is polite and helpful. Highly recommend if you're a pyo person.
