Kobe Sushi Hibachi

I really enjoyed the sushi dinner for two. Staff were excellent. I am not the only one who likes it considering the traffic while I was there on a Thursday at 4:30. Sesame balls were a nice temperature and tasty. Highly recommend.

We had a great lunch yesterday of Chicken and Steak Hibachi with spicy crab sushi. Our service was quick and the meal tasted great. Our experience was absolutely delightful with instrumental praise and worship hymns playing at just the right volume. Great food, service, price, and atmosphere… we will be back!

I love this place. It's my go to spot for fresh sushi and great service. The sushi itself are basically always fresh I feel compared to other restaurants. The service is also very attentive which I like. I've been going here for over a year now.

Love this place! My roommate and I eat here all the time and the food always hits the spot. Sushi is some of my favorite in town and a great price! Try the fried Oreos!

Had a great first time here! We ordered two special rolls, hughes and lion mana. Both were delicious! Our waitress and other employees were friendly, and all around good vibes from the place.

Kobe Sushi Hibachi Express is the BEST!

Finding good sushi here in Alabama has been a defeating experience. We have tried every sushi restaurant that has been recommended to us since moving here in 2020, and not one of them could compare to the restaurants we had back home.

That is, until we found Kobe!

Kobe Sushi Hibachi Express is the first sushi restaurant we've visited here that is equivalent in both quality and excellence as what we experienced at sushi restaurants back home in Colorado. The presentation of the sushi was stunning, the taste was incredible, and the staff was exceptional.

I am so happy that we found this place!

Service was fantastic. We got seated immediately.

They have a fantastic selection when it comes to hibachi and sushi, especially their specialty rolls. I was very impressed.

They also have cooked sushi options which was a nice bonus for the Mrs who won’t eat raw fish haha. Portions are generous.

Shoutout to the Air force vet’s kids who dinged my car mirror. Don’t park close to the front.

Oh my goodness. What a hidden gem. My husband and I have declared Kobe as our new favorite restaurant in Alabama. We had the pork gyoza, calamari, Kobe roll, Tiger roll, Mexico roll, and the Madison roll. This place is beyond perfect. Great food, atmosphere, service, etc. I can guarantee that anything you order here will taste amazing. Wow!

The food is middle of the road, just average, but it came out super quick and was tasty! The service was excellent. We have a newborn and it started raining and our server walked us to the car with an umbrella so she didn't get wet. 10/10 for that alone.

Haven’t been to all the sushi joints around town quite yet but I don’t really have to after coming here. Doesn’t get much better than Kobe. It’s fresh, vibrant, and delicious! Always excited when my wife claims she wants sushi for dinner because it means we are going here.

Easily the best sushi in the Huntsville area, and I've tried most of them. This is the only place I wasn't disappointed. Will definitely be going back anytime I crave sushi.

We love this little place! Found it on a night when I ❤ Sushi had an hour wait (even for takeout). The sushi is inexpensive, the sashimi cuts are thick and it's all very high-quality. They have white tuna, too--my favorite! Service is great, presentation is wonderful. We've been twice and got Uber delivery once; I recommend eating in. 10/10 will definitely visit again!

This place is a great little place for sushi! The prices are reasonable and their sushi is delicious! I got the 1591 roll. I love rolls with fish layered on top of the roll. This did not disappoint. I tried this place before and thought the sushi was good, but small. I don't know if they changed how they made their sushi or if I just ordered small sushi, but it is a decent sized roll this time around. I wasn't full after one roll, but I was definitely satisfied and ordering 2 rolls would have been too much.

Great sushi! Great cake! The staff was friendly, the atmosphere was relaxing. It was simple and delicious. The prices were fair in comparison to other sushi places. We will definitely go again.

I moved from Washington state in February and have not had good sushi until I found this place! Absolutely amazing sushi. Very fresh fish, beautiful presentation with every single plate. I will be eating here a lot while I’m In Alabama!

Been there 3 time in a week span. Tasty, beautiful presentation, quick service, and good prices both for lunch and dinner. Can't beat the 3 rolls anytime for $9 special - especially at this quality. Also, the sushi chef is really nice if you choose to sit at the sushi bar.

Amazing food! We are former long time residents of Madison (prior to 2013) and just moved back from Florida. We were so disheartened to see that Edo was gone as that was our favorite restaurant of all time (my husband and I had many dates there and used them as part of our wedding activity venues). We hadn't found a proper replacement until we decided to try Kobe a few months ago. The food is wonderful-everything we've tried from the hibachi, udon, miso soap/salad, and sushi is excellent! We are so happy to have found our "Edo" replacement! We hope it stays around for the long term.

Dropped into this restaurant on Friday. I wasn't sure how I would like the food because we are pretty picky about Japanese food. We ordered gyoza, seafood soup and shrimp hibachi lunch special. The gyoza was on par with most Japanese restaurants and we would order it again. My husband had the hibachi lunch and he said it was good, but not much different than any other place we've eaten it. The 5 stars are for the seafood soup. The broth was light and very tasty. The soup itself was full of seafood and vegetables. We both ate it because it was a large bowl and delicious! So happy to have a go to place in Madison with a delicious soup full of seafood. These pictures were taken after we had eaten about half of the soup and most of the seafood in the soup and most of our other dishes also.

Wow. What a pleasant find. I was in Madison for lab tests I had to fast for so I was hungry! 4.7 rating? How is that possible? It’s possible. You won’t be disappointed. Oh and the spider roll was only $9! What!??
