Cafe Petra Greek and Lebanese

The food was excellent. The service was good. We were a little thrown off track with Bob Marley’s entire album playing while we ate. I liked the music but it did not match the atmosphere.
We ordered the Trio Dip with Garlic Dip, Baba Ganoush, Hummus for the appetizer.
For the main course we had Fattoush Salad & Gyro Plate.

Lamb is always cooked and seasoned well. Their hummus is one of the best ones we have had. And the fried cheese is our favorite appetizer.

Found this gem near i was staying. Wanted some greek food and i ordered the Gyro sandwich. It was very reasonbly priced. Lots of meat. They are not stingy like other places.

The service was on point. Friendly and very quick. Would totally go again

Loved it! We tried it because it's a bafl card participant. We had the family feast and it was perfect size and price for us. The waitress was very nice and attentive. Tried and loved the lebanese tea. Tiramisu was tasty. Will return.

I loved my meal (the beef kafta kabob w/rice). I am a rice fanatic and their rice is to DIE FOR!!! I got a second plate of that. The meat was very well done and juicy. I also loved the guava juice. Very refreshing. The garlic dip was alright but I probably wouldn't get it again because it fills me up too much lol.

We sat outside when the weather was nice, and it was so pleasant. I got the chicken kabob plate and it was delicious and fresh.

Simple. Fresh. Delicious. Friendly atmosphere in a clean, quaint setting. Grandson is rather picky but had no issues plowing thru his chicken-gyro plate! Great cafe!

Delightful dinner. I wanted to try something different than a gyro which a lot of people were ordering and seemed to really enjoy. But, i had the chicken schwarma plate that included a salad with feta dressing, a side of hummus and a rice pilaf. My friends had the beef kafta kabob and shrimp kabob. They were cooked on skewers but not served on them. Everything was delicious and the hummus was so good with the warm soft pita bread. Clean, great service and average dinner prices. They added a nice touch with a simple yet unique decor to match the cuisine. Murals, tea sets and pretty light fixtures. A must try for something different and supports local business!

Stopped in for lunch after seeing the high rating. Ordered the chicken shawarma plate. The nice lady that took my order was very warm and friendly. She promptly brought a huge glass of ice water and took my order, which was delivered to the table in probably about 5 minutes. The shawarma was one of the better I've had. The side of hummus was very good (8/10), the small scoop of rice was surprisingly tasty, and even the side salad was fresh, crisp, and with a nice dressing on it. I think the prices are one or two dollars higher than comparable places in the area, but the quality of the food and service was good enough that it made up for that. All in all, I'd rate this place very highly and will be back soon.

Service is relatively quick, food is usually out in a couple of minutes. I've had lunch here several times. The staff are friendly. Food is amazing.

FANTASTIC! The food is so fresh and full of flavor! The service was top notch for our lunch visit. We tried the Mediterranean Hummus and the sun-dried tomatoes really added quite a kick - in a good way. The meat in both the chicken shawarma and the gyro wraps was very tender and the wraps were full of all the goodies you'd want. The wraps also come with hummus and a salad so you are definitely getting your money's worth! A MUST TRY!

This was our first time eating here and it was wonderful. Our server, Daria, was so attentive and gave great recommendations. The quality of food was so flavorful and seasoned to perfection. The quantity of food was great. We got our bellies full and enough leftovers for a whole nother meal. And the price was very acceptable considering what we ordered. We will definitely be coming back and trying some of the other dishes. We highly recommend giving this hidden gem a try. Sorry, we forgot to take pictures.

Oh my! Not only is the food delicious, but the service is outstanding!!

We were on our way to our (old) favorite Mediterranean restaurant and we decided to try here. So happy we did!

We loved the cheese sticks, the hummus, basically everything we tried was so good!

This was our first time and not our last. You can ask Moe anything and he’s happy to answer! He has serious patience!

Highly recommend. Owner and wait staff are so friendly. We ordered chicken shawarma and gyro plates with falafel appetizer. I also ordered a Lebanese tea (iced tea, lemonade and rose water). All the food was delicious. The falafel was some of the best I've ever had.

I accidentally ordered online (check #22 for the gyro plate, feta gyro salad, and lamb shank) at the wrong location on Thursday 03/28 at the League city location instead of the Katy location.

So I called in to request the order be canceled. The hostess or restaurant manager said she canceled it but I still got charged. I never received an email or text message from Toast confirming the cancelation, and my credit card still got charged.

UPDATE:
I called in again and the manager took care of the refund. We enjoyed the food and customer service always tries to make things right!

We loved this place! We got the falafel and the combo (chicken & gyro) plate to go and both were delicious and super filling! They each came with a side feta salad and pita. The to go containers were also super sturdy, something you could definitely reuse if you wanted.

The food is absolutely amazing, I love the chicken shwarma plate and the Petra sandwich is my favorite thing on the menu a lot with the fried cheese! Definitely recommend eating here!

I really enjoyed the Mediterranean Hummus plate

My wife and I stopped in for lunch and we were pleasantly surprised. I had the combo chicken and gyro plate and my wife had the gyro sandwich. Everything, including the service, was great. Definitely recommend.
