I have been growing Jonsteen trees for years. It all started with a clearance seed kit I found with Monterey Cypress seeds. 1 of those trees is now over 5 feet tall and about to be planted in it's new forever home in the Pacific Northwest. I was hooked and NOW have over 60 trees I brought with me when I moved from California June 2023. Depth of Agricultural inspected every tree and were thrilled at how healthy they were. I have Tulip Poplar, Santa Cruz Cypress, Oregon White Oak and so many more ranging from 1ft to 6 ft. They survived their first snow and the home I bought was FOR my trees, then for me.

Went on a road trip up hwy 1 all the way from Kansas to see all the big woods. Got a couple of redwoods from The Jonsteen Company to take home. We were so excited to get them home and planted, a week later the dogs enjoyed them as chew toys.

Couldn’t make the trip back to get more so found who and where we got them from and ordered more. (This time we got cages for them 😁)

So…. I bought these giant redwood seeds at Walmart in the clearance isle. 5$
Anyway I have tried to germinate redwoods before and failed every time. I followed the instructions they gave with the seeds. Easy enough for a young child to do. Now I have 6 healthy seedlings!!! I’m going to order more soon. Highly recommend.

Purchased a medium-sized American Elm "Survivor Tree" seedling which has been thriving so far in a container in my front yard. I plan to eventually plant in ground after nurturing it through at least 1 more winter here. Seems like a really nice company with a wide selection of quality plants.

I worked with the Jonsteen Company to create custom Douglas Fir seed packets for my work. The team was very helpful in making sure our design and seeds were just what we needed. I would recommend them to anyone wanting a custom, unqiue, sustainable gift/customer apperciate gesture or to just promote more trees!!

I really like the customer service. I've ordered several times and each one was delivered in a timely manner. They are great quality tree's. They are arrived very green and healthy. Out of the 10 tree seedlings, only one didn't make it. So I called them right away and they were more than happy to assist with replacing it with only the cost of shipping. I highly recommend you to order from the Jonsteen Company if you are interested in planting any tree's.

Had an issue ordering from website, it was a fail on my end, didn’t enter the billing address. I emailed them about the issue not expecting a response until tomorrow since it is well into the evening, I got a response back and they helped me sort it out! Even sent me a list of tips before I corrected my mistake! Thank you, so looking forward to receiving the shipment!!!

I have had my 2 trees for about a month and a half they are already showing new growth. I spray mist them daily. I did some research on what kind of soil was the best. Also what kind of fertilizer to use. I must have done it all correct. They are doing great.

I bought 2 coastal redwoods from the Jonsteen Company last May. In two months they tripled their mass. I am so impressed with the quality of these trees. They are of the highest quality. The trees keep budding and budding and growing and growing. Thank you Jonsteen Company!

Well I gave this a five star because. I think this is a good company but I do have to say that you should NOT use there coupon to get a free tree as I understand that its only (5.39) for s&h but the jbp I was sent the roots were really dry and needles damaged not colored differently like they warn the tree might be but damaged and there are some questionable spots on it and am worried to put it with my other trees as these are not seasonal changes not to disappoint but I have done landscaping for 9 years and bonsai as a hobby for 6-7 years I am in no way saying I'm an expert but I'm not a random customer maybe I'm bias because having ordeedr 4 different trees from them at separate times one being a jbp one be a japanese maple one being a trident maple and one being a costal red wood (my wife bought for me)1 out of 4 died I don't think this was there fault at all but 1 out the 4 iv gotten from them the jbp looks very sickley iv been waiting for this tree to pop back up on there website and when it did I got one this does not look like a freshly grown seedling and looks sick with concerning spots was bone dry the broken needles I don't think was there fault at all but what I'm saying is I don't think they put as much concern or care in the trees they are sending at shipping cost and are willing to send you a under cared for tree I love looking at there selection of trees and might give them a shot in the future but if another trees dies I won't use there coupon to get one I would much rather pay full price for a seedling that was taken care of rather then one they pulled out of the rejected pile and thought ehh he's getting it for free only paying (5.39) anyways might as well make him buy onother one in two weeks when he realizes this one is definitely dead ! But I really do enjoy this company and the selection of trees maybe check in with them and see how old the seedlings are and if there dead or alive maybe ask them when was the last time they were checked for diseases or fungal issues (over all) company 5 stars 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 japanese black pine I just received 1 star 🌟! But still hopeful I can get it to recover from the lack of care and definitely not a freshly grown seedling and I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR THERE SMALL SEEDLING TO POP BACK UP NOT THERE (DEAD) SEEDLINGS ! have a great day and stay safe !

While visiting the Redwoods in California I purchased two sequoia seedlings, which unfortunately didn't make it in my home climate. Through Jonsteen's online store, I was able to get two free Redwoods as replacements (without even having my receipts anymore), which arrived in Great condition, and are growing like crazy!

I'm planning on buying a few more seedlings as well - they have so much more than the redwood species you see in gift shops in the area. I would recommend shopping at Jonsteen's to anyone!
