Sunset Restaurant

View of ocean and sunset is amazing. Good experience here with food and service, half salad was full size, portions are big and generous. Server was good and attentive.

Every dish was delicious and perfectly cooked, including trout & king salmon. The view is outstanding, especially at sunset.

Took my wife there today for mother's Day dinner. She had a wonderful meal. We all enjoyed our dinner, our server Sharlee did an awesome job My wife was presented with flowers upon arrival and departure which made it a nice touch. We will definitely recommend this place for a casual or a romantic setting

This restaurant has a great view of the ocean. We enjoyed watching the sun set while eating. We ordered the snapper and the seafood fettuccine. We added a side of crab, which was well worth it. The portion of crab was large for the price point. This restaurant is very high quality for the cost.

Love the view from where we were seating . Servers were all friendly and our particular server was attentive. We dont have to call him for any refills , he just knows when we needed him. Their fried artichoke was lightly battered which was really good. The steelhead dish was also amazingly good. My husband ordered the beef tritip burger , it was juicy and tender good too

Our server was great and gave us tips on local sights. The atmosphere was great considering it's next to a casino. There's a nice fireplace and the views were amazing even in heavy fog. The food was top notch. We came a bit early, but everything was well cooked and sorry. Great job 👏

Wonderful fresh steelhead, great service and atmosphere. The only low point was the crab cakes. We get them every time we eat here and these were way too bready.

We love good steaks! The ribeye is very good here. The atmosphere is probably the best in Humboldt County. The service is good and the people are friendly. This is a good husband wife getaway for a fine dinner. I highly recommend this restaurant. I like to get everything from appetizers to the deserts. This is a place were you can really enjoy the food, view and each other.

This is a great restaurant, great views great food short on service because of the Lack of staff, but the staff that was there were excellent It just made for slow service. But we were in great company so that it was OK.

My husband and I had an incredible dining experience. Everything we order was delicious and came out at the perfect timing. I had one of the best meals I have ever eaten and the desserts were incredible. Our wait person (Forest) was an absolute delight, and took great care of us. I can't wait till our next visit to the Sunset Restaurant!

Great place for Thanksgiving dinner.

I've had the pleasure of not only dining at Sunset Restaurant, but also working with them as an event planner hosting several weddings I've done over the last 8 years. While the restaurant has undergone many changes throughout the last 8 years, one quality where they consistently shine is their stellar service. Whether it be with service staff, the chef, bartender, or management, I've encountered a team that goes above and beyond to provide a dining and venue experience of 5-star quality. Be it the epic view from their dining room, professional and quality hospitality, or delicious and beautifully presented meals, I recommend the Sunset Restaurant experience.

Able to eat inside during the pandemic and the food is among the best in the area. Of course the view is world-class, but everyone knows that.

UPDATE 6/2022: The food and service continue to bring me joy. The best item on the menu is the buttermilk pork chops. You won't regret it. You're welcome!

This place is awesome to eat at and has beautiful views of the Ocean, staff is very friendly and helpful, it's a great place for clam chowder and a great Sunset 🌇 😀 👍

We haven't been to the Sunset Restaurant since the beginning of Covid. After seeing a wild movie matinee we stopped there for dinner. Our wait staff was awesome, especially WILLIAM ! Great server and let me make some last minute changes to my order. A great evening !

Exceeded my expectations by a long way. An interesting menu with lots of excellent choices. Not inexpensive but worth it. Would have been a special meal even without the spectacular sunset. The service very attentive and professional.

We had a wonderful Valentines dinner.
