The restaurant boasts a unique cooking method that imbues their burgers, Is like a smoky, wood-fired flavor something like that , making them incredibly tender and flavorful. The grilled chicken was equally exceptional, offering a taste unlike anything I've had before. The friendly owner and the overall ambiance make this a must-visit. I can't wait to return!

Located in a very special spot, one can admire Shequaga Falls sitting on their patio and enjoying a refreshment, dine in or out, the food is good and prices are modest with great customer service!!!

Great place! Small menu done very well! Even though the bar was mostly full and three tables occupied by several couples, the young woman working, managed being, hostess, serving staff, bartender and bus staff. Hopefully, they keep her. She's an asset. I wouldn't be surprised if she cooked some of the food too!

But the burger was great, fries crispy, wings not overdone and drinks mixed well. What more could you want.

My partner and I stopped for dinner on our way to the state park. The food was excellent. We each had the sandwich of the day, and a side salad. Indi the bartender made me one of the summer special cocktails - which was delicious.

They got quite busy while we were there. Indi was transparent with those coming in, positioned wait time to make sure people didn’t feel overlooked. When we were ready to cash out, Andrew assisted.

Overall an extremely positive experience.

This restaurant is worth the stop. Chicken burgers great and drinks were reasonable. The waitress went over and beyond to make our vacation stay a five star. Indiana and Boriana make this a great experience and we will return. Thank you Ladies.

Phenomenal food, and service was stellar. Great selection of food and drinks to choose from. I recommend the peach blonde IPA and the jalapeño cheddar burger... Also the chicken bacon ranch loaded fries was amazing!

Just discovered this new tavern and decided to stop in for dinner and a drink. Their local and regional craft beer offerings are very impressive! The atmosphere is friendly and comfortable. We had their flatbread pizza and they were very good and the burgers being served around us looked wonderful. We are definitely looking forward to returning soon. (Service was a little slow as it appeared they didn't have sufficient staff at the time.)

Friends and I were in town from Maryland, Fast and friendly service, from the bartenders to the cooks, everyone was very kind and hospitable. Steak dinner was delicious. If I lived in the area I would definitely be back! Our bartender, Raiana was great!

We are always impressed. We confidently invite our friends; business colleagues for meetings…. Wine is local and fresh, local beer choices excellent. Impressive stills. The plates are fresh crafted and awesome in appearance, flavors, temperature, just pretty darn completely happy. Oh and the people… everyone, Andrew & team, on game and just the best.

First time eating lunch at ALTHEAS TAVERN in Montour Falls was such a delightful surprise! Food was fantastic and our waiter Indy was lovely! We also chatted with the owner who was very welcoming, this is our new favorite place!!!

What a gem in Montour Falls! The good menu has lots to choose from, drinks options are great and Indiana the bar manager is so nice, professional and a master at what she does - cool, calm and friendly! Stop here, it's well worth it!!

We are locals to Watkins Glen and anytime out of town folk come in to visit us we bring them here. The spinach and cashew salad is MY FAVORITE. But really, everything food wise is perfect and the beer selection is HUGEEE . 5 star service, food, atmosphere

FANTASTIC BURGER, great local beer selection, and amazing service from Indiana - who single-handedly managed what went from two people in the place to a full house - all within about 10 minutes! I wish I’d discovered this gem years ago!!!

Great food and service. Kid friendly. Salads were fresh and cheesecake wasn't overly sweet.

My husband and I had been meaning to go there for a while and finally remembered to go on wing night. These were the best wings I’ve had locally and the drinks were good too. We will be going back again soon.

The service was prompt and interested in how our experience going. The owner spoke with us about other local experiences. The food was amazing! The Clint Eastwood and Buffalo chicken salad we hands down the best we’ve had. Beer selection was on point and complete as they R&D offerings into the future. Fun and real folk here. Indie makes a killer spicey mango margarita, plus the burgers, craft beer, and service are spot on. A must stop anytime you are near Montour Falls!
