Prince Ali's Kebab

This place is wonderful. Excellent food. Excellent service. Unfortunately my wife and I were the only people dining. The place deserves to be crowded. We are from Newport. So we had to take a bit of a hike to find the place. You people of Barrington need to take only a small hike. Do it. I will feel sorry for you if you don’t. Tasty Mideastern food. Delicious.

One of the best Middle Eastern restaurants in the area. We liked their food especially the kebab. Their desserts are really good. They have a very good hospitality and we liked their teamwork.

My wife and I picked up dinner tonight, kabab wraps and the fava bean plate, and all the food was absolutely fantastic. The staff were super friendly and the restaurant looks really nice, next time we’ll definitely be eating in. Recommended.

What an absolute gem! Grateful this kind of food at this level of quality is available in the East Bay! The little market attached is a great value-add, too.

I was out on an assignment at Swansea and came across this Arabic restaurant which brought nostalgic memories of the Sheesh Tawouk ( Grilled ) Chicken & Goat meat which we had in Middle East before coming to USA. Mahnoud & Asheel are excellent in reception and I was pleased very much with the charm of Abu Ali ( Mahnoud). The restaurant is named after his late son Ali who passed away in 2014 just a 2 year old baby. I would prefer to give Seven 7 Stars.

This is 100% the best Gyro I've ever had. With the pita having fresh grill marks, the pickled turnips adding a bit of sour and sweet, the meat is perfectly seasoned, and the tzatziki sauce mellowing out the spice, simply perfect! Not to mention phenomenal fries and the stuffed grape leaves are surprisingly complex and SO satisfying. Flavors you do not get to enjoy outside of Prince Ali's wonderful cuisine. Can't recommend them highly enough!

My husband and I had dinner here for the second time. The food is amazing and fresh. It is cooked by the owner and her daughter is one of the servers. They explained everything on the menu and the food is reasonably priced. A great gem in the area

Hands down the greatest grape leaves I have ever had. Every item I've ordered has been exceptional. But definitely order the grape leaves.

Food was awesome! The staff was so warm and welcoming. They were very accommodating and friendly. My Chicken Caesar wrap was delicious and fresh. Can't wait to return!

We love Prince Ali’s! Always fresh, delicious and reasonably priced. We are big fans of the falafel wrap and the vegetarian shish kebob plate, which includes a veggie kebab and a halloumi cheese kebab - one of the only places we’ve been to that serves the delicacy - and it’s so good. I even bought some packaged halloumi that they sell from their little variety shop section to try grilling at home… but I’ve got some practice to get anywhere near the quality from Prince Ali’s. We’ll be back soon.

There were four of us and we split 2 appetizers which was way more than enough. (I can't remember the names but they were the first 2 items on the left side of the menu.)
No matter what you order for dinner (we had 2 kabob dinners and 2 briani dinner) you will leave with leftovers. It's served as you would at home, not overly decked out and all pretty.
Desserts are definitely middle eastern, not overly sweet.
For the drinks we had the yogurt milk drink and the blackberry cordial.
The wait staff is efficient and courteous.
We definitely will eat there again.

This is a great restaurant that I never expected to find in barrington. The lamb kebabs were cooked to perfection and very tender and juicy. Ate there with my family and everyone , all five of us, loved their gyros. The humus was amazing very lite and so creamy. Portions are very generous. Spoke with the owner he is so very nice and wanted to ensure everything was to our satisfaction. Will be back next time I’m up here.

We have dined in twice. The hummus and pita up front is so fresh, creamy and yummy. Grape leaves are warm and juicy. We ordered scallop kabob dinner, which had perfectly cooked scallops with a sweet and smoky taste, on a huge portion of veggie rice. And lamb shank on rice - which was to die for with its tender, fall off the bone yummy taste, comes with a bowl of broth, which only makes the meal so much better. We had tea with dinner. I cannot recommend this place enough. The hosts are warm and attentive. I always feel like I have been invited to dine at their home rather than a restaurant. It is a hidden gem. A must try.

Wow! The Tzatziki is amazing! They make everything fresh. Don't hesitate to get the falafel - you will only be disappointed if you miss it.

Such a wonderful family runs this restaurant. We had a wonderful meal with them. Looks like a lot of people ordered to go, so be patient if you're there during a busy time. The food is worth any wait!

Today, my husband and I decided to give this restaurant a try and placed a takeout order here for the first time. We ordered the falafel plate and a plate of grape leaves. The food was delicious! Perfectly seasoned falafel that was cooked just right and served with an excellent tahini sauce. The grape leaves were a welcome meat fee option and they too were fantastic. Moist and tender with just the right amount of lemon to liven the flavor. SO good! We are very happy with our first experience here and will definitely be returning. What a great find! Highly recommend!
