El Mirador 2

The food and service were great. They were quick getting everything out to the table. The servers were available whenever you needed them. We got the Malibu buckets, and they tasted great. Definitely got a good buzz. The food tasted great, and the portions were huge. I got two entrees because I thought for the price, they would be small, but they were not. The ceviche was a little too sour for my taste but was still very fresh and hit the spot.

Unfamiliar with the area as I was staying at the hotel in the parking lot. Ventured to this beautiful authentic restaurant, on a busy Friday evening by myself. Rather then taking a seat in the diner, I sat at the bar. Enjoyed myself a healthy serving combination plate and margarita. The bartenders were very polite and friendly. Connecting with a gal by the name of Mary. She created a dragon fruit/pomegranate margarita that was perfect ending of my evening. The next evening my daughter's college softball team was in need of a team dinner location. I instantly thought of this place and their customer service. I went in, spoke with Carla, let her know our party size and time we were in need of. She immediately went to work, took a stroll around the restaurant. Came back and said yes, mam.. we can accommodate you out back. In the undercover outdoor seating area. It truly worked out perfect. The coaches and team were happy gals to end their day. Shout out to Mary who jumped right on in to serve our group of 20+. We really enjoyed ourself. Being outdoors, the gals were able to take a moment, glance over at the sunset. We were all satisfied leaving there. Infact, I was overcome with such great customer service, not even realizing I had actually left my debit card behind. As I mentioned above, out of town, I didn't realize my debit card was misplaced until I needed gas 3 hours away. I immediately called the restaurant as it was the last place I used my card. A gentleman answered the phone, I had asked if someone had found or returned my debit card, he looked in their safe and it was found. Tricky part being 3 hours away, this gentle soul offered to mail me my debit card. So I would of had to drive back 6 hour total out of my way. I most certainly had asked his name to give him a shout out, he says "Angel" I most definitely agree with this. I received my debit card in the mail 3 days later. I feel it's good to give recognition when deserved. This business should be honored with the employees they have. Everyone was a pure pleasure and seemed they absolutely enjoy their job. Keep up the good work. I hope management is giving back to the employees cause they most certainly deserve it.

Just stopped in for a Margarita to charge the Tesla....the hosts were incredibly nice and warm and the restaurant is an authentic Mexican masterpiece. The menu looks delicious and I will be back with an empty stomach!

The food, drinks, service and atmosphere was outstanding. I can’t express how charming the interior of this restaurant is. Sometimes you walk into a restaurant and the way they decorated makes it a special experience not just a meal. They had the largest choice of types of enchiladas I’ve ever seen ( I think 14?). Truly one of the best meals I’ve ever had.

Happy Hour is great and is in the entire restaurant. They offer a Large hard shell Taco or an Enchalada with rice and beans for $4.95......choice of ground beef, shredded chicken or beef. We were shocked to see that our 16 oz domestic draft was only $2.50

Tortillas made fresh in house, great chips and salsa, tasty food, coupled with fast and friendly service makes this my favorite sit down location for Mexican food in Yakima. I have never had a bad experience here and it's always busy so it appears I'm not the only one in town who loves it😊

The service was great, and even though it was a busy hour, we didn't wait to long to get our food.

This place came highly recommended by a friend who grew up in Yakima. She wasn't wrong. We both ordered the Enchiladas Bandera (ground beef). So amazing. We took half our plates home for another day. The mole sauce is outstanding. I am not a mole sauce lover either. We will return on our next trip to Yakima.

Great place and great food. I was visiting my brother and this is a place he has been to several times. Large and tasty portions. Super busy on a Sunday around noon which shows how good it is.

Nice clean place with great food, including handmade tortillas and margaritas too. Staff were very good and friendly even with limited English. Definitely going back, but sharing a dish next time.

We had a pretty good experience staring from services to food. We were able to walk in and get a seat immediately. Our server and service was amazing, we had a few other people helping around and working together as a team. Food came quick and it was one of the best meals we had. Very good experience overall.

Wonderful, attentive service. It was nice to see a restaurant staff work as a team, I know that a lot of places everybody seems to be on their own island, but here at El Mirador 2, everyone is definitely on the same team!

The food was absolutely delicious. I would give it 10 out of 10 stars if I could!

Quick and friendly.service.. Had the #10 on the lunch menu and wasn't disappointed. Always love going there. You get a bang foe your buck for sure and the drinks are always good if you get one. Today I didn't, but have in the past.

Took my wife and son to El Mirador 2, both were impressed with the atmosphere, and the great service we received. My son who thinks he is a food critic was very positive with his meal, and my wife and I liked our meals a lot, great food, great service, and a great evening. 5 stars all the way. Adding to this stopped in for lunch on Friday, Taco Salad, and chips, very good and filing, and as always great service!

Amazing authentic atmosphere with rich culture! Carla was an amazing hostess and our food arrived within a very reasonable timeframe. The staff was very helpful and our food was cooked extremely well.

Crazy portion and great service! Got to-go boxes and made second meals out of the plate. We tried every grilled meat (beef, chicken, and shrimp) and all of them were delicious. Their salsa and guacamole are average but still tasty.

This place is absolutely amazing. I came here for the 1st time and it was incredible. The restaurant itself is beautiful, tortillas are hand made in house, and all the food is fresh, good, and reasonably portioned. For your birthday you get sang to, as well as a free desert. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The horchata is great. Definitely recommend this place to anyone who likes mexican food, there’s also food for kids like Hamburgers.

Best authentic Mexican food I’ve ever been too. The vibes you get from the restaurant itself are awesome. The food is so good. My waitress was super nice and the food got to me really fast. The margaritas are the best I’ve ever had. I’m from out of town but I will come here just to eat here.

Food was hot and very good.
Large portions for a great price. Wish I lived closer I would be back regularly. Highly recommend.
