Pho Bo & Bambu Cypress

Tried this place out last Friday. We ordered the combo special (entree, appetizer, drink for $13.75). We both picked pho for the entree. The broth was excellent but on the smaller side (typically a medium not large bowl size). Also had the special Bambu #1 drink, with less sugar requested. Very refreshing drink/dessert which hit the spot for that hot day.

Came back today on a weekend and wanted to try their rice for lunch. We ordered broken rice with pork chop, and another with grilled pork. Both dishes included a full scoop of rice, a surprising amount of meat, sunny side up egg, egg roll, and pickled veggies. Meat was not too chewy, and well-seasoned. The dish filled me up and wasn't lacking in meat like another place by 290/Mason. And for the hard-to-please hubby, there was no complaint about it being "too salty" for a change.

Overall, I'm glad this place is here to save a 25-35 min trip to Katy or Bellaire, respectively, for our authentic Vietnamese fixes. Also a plus is that they allow us to bring our small service dog in, never making a big deal about her presence.

Will try BBH or another noodle dish next time. Our new local favorite!

Tofu spring rolls are amazing !!’ First time trying this place , these are good if you are trying to go vegan!!!! I replaced the noodles for more veggies like cucumbers and carrots and cabbage , they were very helpful! Their peanut sauce was amazing also!! $7 for Tofu spring rolls ! Pretty good deal (:

Great soup! If you are looking for some delicious soup, try this place. The beef soup was delicious! Portions are big. All the food is fresh and tasty. People are nice and friendly.

Pork spring rolls were very good. The pork Banh Mi was decent, but the bread was not soft enough. I look forward to trying the Pho with the beef short rib once the weather cools off.

They need to work on service....there were multiple dirty tables from previous customers, which really turned me off. Young people working by themselves on a Sunday probably contributed, so maybe on another day this might not be a problem.

My pho was delicious, wonderful broth. LOVE that they offer a variety of Bambu che. #6 Fruit Addict is my favorite.

It's a place that I suddenly went to.
The food came out very quickly.
The staff was very friendly.
Rice noodles and food were so delicious.
Also, I ordered fried rice for my child, but my child ate rice noodles better.
If the sun is strong because there is no curtain on the window, I recommend sitting inside the store.

Once again, they do not disappoint. Amazing flat noodles, good flavors all around, great new options with their Oreo flavored Macaroons, and their Taro Milk Tea. Last time I visited was during the pandemic, and their are killing it.

Food is absolutely delicious along with there strawberry milk tea my sisters absolutely loved there boba tea and there lemonade is delicious

This is my go - to Pho place! I highly recommend the Pho Tai. The broth has good flavor and they give you a decent amount of beef. I’ve only ever dined out so can not attest to the service.

This is a really good place. Excellent customer service, fast service and the food it’s delicious. The prices are great and they have different pho sizes. My husband and I ordered the pho number 26. Pho seafood in size large and XL. It’s not expensive we just spent $29 for both pho.

We love having lunch here! Their iced coffees, bahn mi & pho are always on point. The people on staff are always nice and get the orders correct, and it doesn't take very long for them to bring the food out.

Excellent beef broth and combo Pho, super fresh. Super nice staff and very fast. Love the spring rolls and green tea too!

Sandwiches and eggsrolls are delicious. I ordered vermicelli bowl to go and they don't provide the fish sauce. You have to ask for it. Without the sweet vinegar, the bowl tasted off. But their eggrolls are some of the best around and much larger than most places.

Food is amazing the service is okay the older gentleman is a bit judgy… but overall good place to go!!! Price is a bit pricy

Let me start my review with the staff; there were 3 servers taking orders and being cashiers(very hard workers by the way). To the young man that took care of me at the cashier THANK YOU for letting my son practice his English with you and being patient with him. The food was delicious especially with a picky husband when it comes to his pho, my son finished his bowl of pho as well and my mom and I ordered vermicelli plates each. She really enjoyed her shrimp vermicelli especially for a first timer. We will surely come back again whenever we are close by

We have been here several times for pho, fresh spring rolls, and dumplings. It has been delicious and service has been wonderful every single time we’ve gone!
