Irwindale Speedway

This was my first time at this venue but I can't wait to go back again to see more car racing. I was so impressed with how clean the restrooms were they had an attendant monitoring them which was awesome! There were over 500 cars on the lot, the weather was hot but perfect. Very impressed with this venue, very impressed. I heard the drifting competition will be held there in October!!

Came here for Thursday night thunder and it was great!
We arrived at around 6, and there were a few cars already drag racing but as the evening wore on, more and more arrived.
Walked around the car park and everyone was very friendly.
Food was awesome too - best Burrito and Taco’s!
We were visiting from the UK and enjoyed it thoroughly.
Great venue. Awesome sunset.
2024 update : came back again in 2024 for Thursday Night Thunder - another cracking evenings entertainment. Big shout out to the compare who was very humorous and made the event even more fun!

BEST MOTORSPORTS FACILITY IN CA!!!!

Every Saturday night I go, they always put on a freaking awesome show!!! And it’s absolutely a pleasure!!! Great for families, race fans, kids, and etc!!! It’s also awesome that I got to know the owners of the facility, and they are all amazing to me whenever I go because of how much I love racing. I recommend anyone to come to this amazing facility because it never disappoints!!

This venue is amazing! So much fun at fuel fest! Event was sold out and traffic getting into the parking lot took nearly an hour to go .5 miles but it was all good!! Worth the wait!

Beautiful & amazing! An awesome experience with hopefully many more years to come! We LOVED it!!! I would highly recommend to everyone! The staff was great, the decorations were beautiful, my 9 yr old loved it, my pups got to tag along in the car and it was very smooth and organized. Driving ON the actual race track was soooo much fun alone! (Even super slow lol) It’s a great deal too and super safe! 💕

Man, is this place super cool. They have Nascar sanctioned races on Saturdays and drag races on Thursdays. Some special events from time to time and you can even race a car yourself. I love going on Saturdays to watch a race with my old man. I really like going on the 'Night of Destruction'. Plenty of crashes to go around. The parking situation is easy and the exiting after the race is easy as well...jist need to know where to park. We need to appreciate this place for what it is, a community of people enjoying everything cars. We cannot lose this place, we need it. Bring your dollars here, it won't disappoint. Races on Saturday, $15ea. Parking, $10. Bring the whole family.

Always a great time at Irwindale. I've been coming here for Formula Drift and other car events for over a decade. Wonderful facility and hope it's here for a long time to come

Well...I grew up in Nascar country, Western NC. My uncle owned a half interest in the Asheville race track, and I use to sit in the stands while my Dad drove the tow truck to clear the crashes on the infield. As a teenager some weekends I would be hanging out in somebody's garage working on their race cars. Went to Irwindale Speedway for the first time probably 20 years ago with my family because Mike Johnson, #17, fixed my transportation at his shop in Ontario. CA and raced at Irwindale. Saw my 1st real NASCAR race in Fontana thanks to a colleague that got us tix about 7 years ago... Why the history? Well, Irwindale Speedway is like one of the stomping grounds for young CA racers shooting for the bigs, and a home for many local automotive related businesses to come together for great family fun! I returned last night with a group of neighbors and his friends, and my 13 year old son that didn't want to go. The folks there put on first an incredible 150 lap race on a half-mile oval with some of the local legends and some young folks that will be driving in the upper echelons of car racing in a few years, then turned to the local fun of things like a jet truck burning a mini van out, skid plate racing. figure 8 racing, trailer racing, and the best fireworks show I've seen in years! By the time I got home with that 14 year old who didn't want to go, he was all smiles and glad he went and saw such fun stuff with our neighbor kids. If you have never been to an auto race or if you know the sport of racing, Irwindale Speedway is a great place to bring your family for an evening of LIVE not TV entertainment! I am not a betting guy, but I'll wager when my son wakes up shortly, he's going to want to know when we're going back!

What can I say, Irwindale Speedway is the House of Drift. Legends have been made and rivalries have been started at this iconic Southern California track. The venue itself is classic: large grandstand, suites, and concessions. I’ve had the privilege of watching a few Formula DRIFT finales on these hallowed grounds. I definitely recommend bringing the family to a drift event or any motorsports competition at Irwindale Speedway. There isn’t a bad view in the house and the driver’s paddock is an intimate fan experience. The suites are climate controlled, have sinks, fridges, and TVs.

To help end 2020 on a good note, took the family to see the lights at the Irwindale Speedway. This year was different for us as we normally tour the lights in Bixby Knolls, however we found enjoyment in the spectical the was put on at this location. Great assortment of lights music and am experience that can be viewed and experience while being safe considering the circumstances. Definitely will to check to place out when not a Christmas theme.

Was there for Cali Creaming and it was nice event, waaaaaay Better than Ford Fabulous I heard!

We attended the Night Of Destruction on Dec 2 2017 with friends and family and it was a blast!

Bought tickets before event date for just $10 each for adult. Arrive before 6 pm for 7 pm race since all good seats get taken fast, with some blocking large spaces on the benches with blankets and tape! Bring a mat to sit on. Get your hot dogs and Polish dogs and just enjoy the show.

I went with friends to the Irwindale "Night of Destruction," July 2, 2022.
It was a GREAT night! 100-lap race, figure-8 race, skidplate race, destruction race, and WONDERFUL fireworks ... all for $25.
I can't imagine how this could have been better, and the price was _reasonable!_ Very family-oriented, very patriotic. We all had a great time. Would _definitely_ recommend.

This was the first time I've ever been to any race event of any kind. I didn't really know what to expect. It was a lot of fun. I'd recommend bringing some ear protection, especially for small children. The cars were quite loud. The last event of the night was a motor home towing a boat race. But, the race wasn't a traditional oval or round shape... it was a figure 8 shaped track. That's right... a race with an intersection. It was just meant to be fun. It wasn't a serious race. There were several close call misses throughout the race, and 1 motor home flipped over. Everyone was safe. But it was lots of fun to watch. Fireworks at the end of all the races. Tickets were $20 online, and parking was $10.

Definitely alot of fun and seats are cheap alcohol , food , snacks are cheap too
I recommend bringing ear plugs cause it does get loud

The race cars are fun to watch. They have good venders. Fun for all ages.

.... I went with my nephew Mitchell, and met up with friends who were racing there, ran into my neighbor, met new friends, and people who were related to High School friends from 45+ years ago, I took a lot of cool pics, and had an awesome time...

Great venue, so much to offer the Motorsports community from drag racing to drifting. Very photogenic and the grandstand offers a great view of all the action. Lots of food options over different cuisines from the vendors there at big events and great alternatives close by. Handicap accessible with ramps for the lower level and an elevator with specific sections up top. Great family fun for all age groups. Nice box seats for corporate events and plenty of parking at the adjoining lot. Formula Drift hosts their season closer event here and it does not disappoint! Can’t wait to visit this place again!

Went to the Christmas light show. It was $65 per car but was worth the money for a an amazing 45 minute light show. We even saw Santa at the end!
