This is by far the BEST pizza I've ever had in my life! And I love pizza! It's really unbelievable! How anyone could rate this place less than a 5 star is unknown to me. We arrived a few minutes after they closed but the manager took care of us and let us eat inside out of mid July heat. We had a great waitress (Charlotte), the employees were very nice, it's a cool little establishment and I swear I'd drive 2 hours from Charleston just to eat here again! If you want pizza, EAT AT VINNIE VAN GOGO'S!

Neat little pizza place. You can order by the slice (which are huge) ($5 a slice)
or a whole pizza made pretty much how you want it. Pizza was very good. Service was great. Extremely reasonable.

Located in Savannah City Market, I highly recommend stopping by Vinnie Van GoGo's. My family and I absolutely enjoyed our dining experience. Not to much of a wait to be seated in their outdoor area and I appreciated they're friendly service, it made a great impression for our first time there. Let's talk about that pizza though... Wow... SO YUMMY! I'm definitely looking forward coming back to eat here for sure!

Chicago folk looking for a good late night slice… look no further….big slices, spicy sausage is great, not greasy and thin crust! Loved it and was unexpected. Way better than Kay’s Pizza down the block.

As everyone has said, these slices are huge! 1 slice was more than enough for lunch. We ordered at the walk up window and ate at the benches lining the walkway. It did take a while to get the food but it was a busy summer Friday. I feel like this is a necessary stop on a weekend in Savannah.

As a man from New Jersey, I give this pizza a perfect rating. This is possibly the best pizza in the state of Georgia. I knew it was going to be good when I saw the chef in the back throwing dough in the air. Perfect sauce with a nice tang. Crust is thin and crispy. My picture won’t do justice but trust me, this pizza is great. 5$ per slice but they are massive slices

The pizza is good and really reasonably priced. The portions are huge. In the summer, outside seating is not optimal, but still bearable

Perfect local pizza spot! My wife and I love local pizza. With this being our first time in Savannah, we found and tried this place. Didn't have to wait long and loved the unique building in a great spot in City Market. Pizza was HUGE...seemed much larger than the 18" size on the menu. Came out fast and was so good. Great crust and very flavorful. We will definitely be back next time we are in town!

This was a recommendation we found in the book of the condo we're staying at, and it was so so good.
We ordered a pepperoni, onion, and mushroom pizza, and we were sad that there's nothing within walking distance of our own house this good.
The crust was perfectly chewy, the toppings were proportionate and spread out, and the taste was wonderful!

I finally got the courage to go out to City Market today since I had an appointment downtown. I ordered a pepperoni slice. It was big, tasty and crispy at the bottom. My first bite reminded me of growing up in Jersey. I sat very close to the location because I knew I was gonna get another slice and surely enough I did. I was pleasantly surprised the woman at the to-go counter remembered and pronounced my name correctly. That almost never happened even though my name has only 5 letters and 2 syllables. I will surely be back.

Place was very nice, service was great! The Slices of pizza are about the size if a half pizza, the crust was amazing..the outside seats was nice.

Pizza was Amazing!! I had slice of the day with garlic, olive oil, spicy sausage, peppers, & onions. My husband had the same. My littles had cheese and pepperoni and loved it! Atmosphere was good except one of the workers had long hair hanging down not netted which didn’t look like a great idea in the food industry. Other than that, workers were friendly and patient. Thank you!! Definitely recommend!

This is a very simple kind of pizza joint. There are no appetizers three kinds of sauce for the pizza (you pick your toppings) and a spinach salad. They have beer, soda, brewed sweet tea, and water. It was a great day outside so we ate outside. There were stickers on the windows and I wished I had a sticker to add to the windows. The pizza was cooked perfectly. The server was good.

What I would consider America’s best pizza. We always go out of our way to eat at Vinnie’s when we are near Savannah. Quirky atmosphere which makes it a unique experience.

Best pizza around! Sold out of a "booth" positioned in front of the restaurant, the pizza comes in a box: fresh, hot and delicious. Expect a wait, because this place is the place to grab a piece for yourself or to share. They will call your name through a microphone, so stay close to not miss when it's your turn to finally get a taste of Vinnies' pizza!!

Great place for a pizza downtown Savannah. An Savannah institution for lunch, dinner or a bite after a night out.
