Walgreens Pharmacy

I recently got transferred to Walgreens due to health insurance and it turned out to be better than CVS. Until February I had spent a lot of money at CVS. At CVS prescriptions are if with Cigna. It is not very expensive to pick up prescriptions at Walgreens. It costs less than CVS did last year. I would give it 10 stars if I could.

This Walgreens pharmacy helped me through insurance being stubborn. The man at the counter remembered me every time I returned so was able to help me with my specific issues! There are often longer lines around 5pm on weekdays.

Wonderful people at this place and they are so proactively offer assistance, branded salutations and make every effort to find a solution to customers’ question and concerns !!!!

The people are nice but the store is chronically understaffed in the interest of corporate profits. It often takes multiple tries to get through to someone on the phone. Even if you have an appointment for a covid booster, you will be waiting 30+ min in line to get it.

There is a shortage of ADHD medication. Called to ask if it was in stock and I was hung up on, without having the opportunity to see if they could check other Walgreens. As if this situation isn't enough of a struggle for parents or adults diagnosed with it, this was frustrating.

Avoid this pharmacy if possible. Every time I’ve tried to use it there is some issue.

3 times they told me I had to pay full price for the medication because there was some “weird issue” with my insurance. Turns out they just didn’t have my complete insurance info on file 🤦🏻. This was solved by a different Walgreens pharmacy.

Furthermore when I’ve set up pickups for the medication 2 hours ahead (and being told it would be ready in an hour), the guy at the counter tells me it’s actually been set up for next morning pickup.

If I was you, just use something else if you can help it.
