Mid Eight Sandwich Shop

I've been meaning to order here for awhile now and kept forgetting! I saw them post on Facebook which reminded me to give them a try. I am so glad I did because my food was spectacular! So I went through DoorDash for lunch and ordered their mid eight monster sandwich on an onion roll, toasted, and added pickle spears and potato salad on the side. This sandwich definitely was a monster! It was packed to the brim with not only the deli and cheese but a generous amount of veggies and dressing. Having it toasted is the way to go because it added a nice crunch to the already bursting with flavors sandwich. Pickle spears top notch can't go wrong with it. The potato salad I thought was on the smaller side but it honestly filled me up perfectly and changed my opinion. The potato salad is on the sweet side so don't order it if you prefer something more tart- I loved it though! I'm going to have to try other sandwich's and their chili next.

Stanley Cup Watch Party and picked up several Cuban sandwiches— in the spirit of the Florida Panthers - and they were exceptional!! They were inhaled quickly and helped with the fun mood of the evening. My family commented several times these were the best Cuban sandwiches they’ve eaten!

What a cool place! Decor is awesome to look at, and the food is great! I highly recommend the Mid 8 monster (if you're hungry enough) haha it's BIG!!

The owner's name is Scott, he's come a long way building this place, worked very hard and it shows! If you're in the mood for a great quick bite, give it a shot!

I cannot say enough good things about this sandwich shop. I went there based off a recommendation from a coworker. I was 100% glad that I went. The customer service is top-notch. My sandwich was amazing. Atmosphere was welcoming. I highly recommend this small town business they do it right. Michigan made products are available for purchase, you will not be disappointed. Myself and another coworker ordered again today. That’s how much we liked it. Job well done. The owner is the Cook. I witnessed him sitting down with customers and just talking. What a great experience you don’t get this anymore. But you definitely get it at mid eight sandwich shop.

I've personally been going to Mid Eight for a few years now. And when I say I've been going it's easily 3 to 4 times within a month.
I've tried every sandwich, the chili, and sides. Never once have I been disappointing.
I've had my niece's graduation party catered through them, as well as introducing them to my place of employment.
There's a reason they were recently voted best sandwich shop in the Metro-Detroit Area, everyone definitely enjoys them!!

My friend and I went for lunch on Saturday. The service was super friendly and helpful. The food was made from fresh, high quality ingredients, with care and professionalism.

I love that they have Faygo and Bettermaid products.

I ordered the club and my friend ordered tuna. There were a variety of options to customize our sandwiches. The pickle was crispy and just the right amount of dill, and the mustard potato salad was just the right amount of tangy. The chocolate chunk cookies were excellent.

My sandwich was large, so I ended up taking home most of my potato salad and 3/4 of my pickle. I liked how the pickle was cut into fourths, making it easier to eat than most places where they give you the entire pickle when they sell you a whole pickle.

I enjoyed they decor inside. It was a little vintage and homey, and the signs on the wall reminded me of my grandpa who had a lot of signs on the wall behind the bar in his basement.

Wish we lived here. We are a little over an hour away and we’re in the area, and decided to come here for dinner. And we’re so impressed! So good. Best sandwich I’ve had in awhile. Hoping to be back soon!

I also want to mention the owners are so warm and welcoming and down to earth. It’s customer service like this that will make you come back even if it’s out of your way. Very wholesome.

Not a better sandwich shop anywhere. Went in today at 5 PM and the onion roll was fresh like it just came out of the oven. The quality and freshness of the turkey and the vegetables were high quality and tasty. The owner is very personable and friendly and really cares about what he serves you. Forget Jimmy John's or Subway, this is THE place to eat. Support your local owned businesses.

The owner handmade our sandwiches. They were super awesome. great personality, great food. well established. The longer I looked at the menu, the more I wanted it all. Normally I see one thing I want and get the normal. If I was a local this 110% would be my regular spot.

what a great experience. Not only was the staff friendly and the food amazing but even the patrons are incredible. I mentioned that I wanted the chili the next time I came, and one of the incredible patrons bought me a chili and brought it out to my car along with a spoon and told me to enjoy it. It’s a rare occasion to go somewhere where everybody has a passion for the food. Try it! You’ll like it!!

I pulled up super hungry and the owner and employees were very welcoming and helpful. I had a great time talking to the owner working behind the grill and I ordered the Cuban and the Rachel. Made me regret not having a good sandwich much sooner. I 100% reccomend stopping by Mid Eight Sandwich Shop! I’ll be back🙏🫡

This is truly the definition of Mom and Pop sandwich shop. It felt like family was taking care of me when I walked into this wonderful establishment for the first time today. "Sandwich in a bowl" isn't even on the menu but the owner didn't even hesitate when I explained my wife and myself didn't want bread. He prepared exactly what we wanted, labeling our bowl lids "his" and "hers" when I got the delicious spicy pepper relish and my wife wanted a less spicy bowl. FRESH ingredients! Everything was delicious and very reasonably priced. We'll be back for sure.

Best deli sandwich I've had in a very long time. Huge portions and the price is amazing!! I will 100% be back....the lady who took my order was also very pleasant and helpful. Update 10/24/23: I've been back every week since my first order and every sandwich has still been wonderful. Our new weekly go to for a quick dinner with leftovers for lunch. And the lady that takes our order practically knows us by name now. Can't recommend them enough!

I was just getting out of the house. I walked into Mid Eight and I was greeted instantly. The staff is friendly, they should have a class on Customer Service. I got The Bird sandwich and WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED. I love a good, juices running down your hands, type of sandwich. The best. Get their Love Spice, too! They have all local products!! Strongly recommend!!

Stopped by here after a meeting nearby and glad to find them on Google. The owner was behind the sandwich counter and directed how to order.

I custom ordered an Italian version sandwich (3 meats and 2 cheeses) on an onion roll (ate it before I could take a pic!) and it was amazing!

The place is 3 yrs old and already very popular in the area. I'll be back to try other items on the menu

If you haven’t been here yet, you’re doing a disservice to your taste buds. First off, love that they carry Faygo and Bettermade. Second, a fresh sandwich right off the line? Killer. They’re super friendly. Super professional. I even got a little mint when I ate it there. Everything about this place is great. Go. Now.

Just moved to the area from DC and have been searching for a great Gluten free sandwhich. I also can’t eat dairy, so that limits my options even further. I was in the area and found Mid Eight sandwhich shop when I searched “gluten free.” All I can say is that I was not disappointed!

I was very tempted by the Veggie wrap but ended up going for The Bird sandwich (you can do chicken or Turkey for the meat.) I got chicken with guac, tomatoes, onion and added cucumber for added crunch and freshness. It was delicious! I had a great conversation with the staff as it was pretty slow near closing time and they were all super friendly and kind. I also got a pickle and what I can truly say is the best potato salad I’ve ever had - as a native North Carolinian I highly recommend getting the large size. Will definitely be back.

Cleanest sandwich shop. Great food. Try the Rachel! My daughter was mad at me because she thought I was keeping it a secret. I told her about it and finally convinced her to try it today too. She was in heaven.

This place is so good!!! I got the sourdough bread and ham. So delicious!
