El Molino

This restaurant was a suggested stop on our motorcycle ride. The food was good and I really liked the flavor of their refried beans. The sour cream was a bit excessive on my tostada, but it was easily pushed off to the side. The chicken enchilada could have used more salsa Verde but the corn masa flavor was very good. My husband thought the salsa was excellent. I felt it was a bit bland.
The service was excellent, and employees were all pleasant and smiling. The restaurant is in an older bldg but the paintings inside are beautiful. If we pass through town again, I would dine there again. The menu had lots to choose from.

Hugely expansive menu. Fast and polite service. Good food. Plenty of seating. Lots of kids menu options.

We enjoyed our #2 and #7 combos. Their food is good their service is welcoming.

We have been traveling for several weeks where there are generally no Mexican restaurants, so we were really hungry for a Mexican food fix. Even so, this is good food. The beef is good quality and the dishes thoughtfully prepared. The chips are a little heavy for my taste, but they have a tomatilla-based hot salsa that is very good. The regular frozen margarita is delicious. Well be back for sure.

Menu has so many items it was hard to choose. Our group of 14 ordered a variety, and everyone was pleased. Service was speedy and friendly, and food was great. Would definitely go back!

El Molino is my FAVORITE Mexican restaurant. The food is just incredible. The prices are a steal for how much you get. You will have left overs and everything I have had here make excellent reheated meals. The building is very clean and the employees are attentive and kind. The food will arrive very quickly. I ordered the Juan Colorado add pablamo peppers. I also love the steak pablamo meal. My husband ordered the seafood molcajete, which he loved. My 2 year old loves the kids chicken enchilada, very flavorful but not too spicy for the little ones. He also enjoys their French fries. Also if you enjoy a margarita, they make the best for miles and happy hour is every evening making them super affordable. I highly recommend this place.

This is the best Mexican food in the Midwest. Not kidding. Tacos Al carbon is unreal here. Great enchiladas. Only place I would ever go if I could.

Like many people, we were in Waterville camping. Our first night we always go into town for dinner after setting up our tent. This was our first time trying El Molino and it will definitely be our go to restaurant every time now. My husband is considering driving the hour there just to go for dinner again. The strawberry margaritas were great and so was the food. Even my picky kid found something she liked (and also loved the steak from her dad's fajitas)!

El Molino is a comfortable, friendly restaurant with good food and attentive staff. Great small-town atmosphere. Portions are generous. Definitely a top spot in Waterville!

The employees are great and make the visit very enjoyable. Food is good and a fairly good amount of seating. Go regularly that we are well known and are always taken care of well. Highly recommend, they do have more then Mexican food.

Good food and quality service. Just upset I didn't know about this place sooner! Lots of variety in their menu which was very surprising. Can't imagine coming to El Molino and leaving dissapointed. Will bring the girlfriend here again!
