Oh my! This place is delicious. The staff is so friendly. We eat here 2 to 3 times a month.

This was our first trip in. We were in town for a wrestling tournament. It was a busy Saturday evening but the gentleman that was serving every table was doing everything he could to accommodate. We love to try new places and the food here was all prefect!! The chips were warm, and the best thickness and texture. The salsa was legit and the hot was actually hot, what I love!! We had the California Burrito, Fajita Burrito, and kids quesadilla meal. They all had excellent flavor, the meat was tender, and the veggies you could tell were good quality and cooked perfectly. I know, how could you call a quesadilla perfect but the melty cheese and grilled crispness of the tortilla were on point. If you can't tell, I love food. I don't have regular restaurants because I love new things but this will likely be a place we drive 30 minutes to visit semi regularly (especially if we're anywhere near) because the flavor and quality was just that good. It's nothing fancy, you don't need to dress up, but you should go check it out.

Had the new plate Quesabirria and it was cheesy, filling, and amazing! Will be back soon 🥵!

Excellent food fair prices - got the beef Tortas and some rice. And a cold Dos Equis. You can order in Spanish if you want.. I will be back! And bring my family here.

This is definitely a great place to eat. It’s always fast and hot. The staff are always nice. They seem to be constantly updating they have done a great job at transforming the area into a restaurant. It’s always clean and inviting.

Excellent food, margaritas and service!!

Great margaritas, food was excellent and the service was great. We had flautas and fajita burrito and I had a margarita while i waited for our order. Will definitely be returning, often.

Wow, first time eating here. Had the smothered burrito. It was fantastic. A lot of food for a fair price. Excellent service as well. Food was good and prepared very fast.

I have lived in McPherson for 5 years now and I consider this the only place that serves authentic Mexican cuisine that isn't actually hot garbage or Tex-mex trash. My family and I eat here whenever we can and while the price may a little bit on the higher side, the quality of the food makes it justifiable. the staff are friendly and recognize us whenever we come in to pick up or sit down as regulars. I loved this food when it was being served out of a food truck, and I still love it when its being served at a restaurant. Eat here.

Its nice place the service was nice the welcome too i got me michelada was so good. I did have a little complain (sorry) it's the rice bland and no flavor. I was very hungr, thought I ate it. 🙏

The food was INCREDIBLE. I was in town visiting my best friend and she recommended La Fogata. The tamal was incredibly delicious, as was the rest of my meal. They also very kindly put up with my poor Spanish. I can’t wait to come back next time I’m in town!

I started eating at La Fagata when they had their food truck in Newton. I was happy when they started bringing the food truck to McPherson and even happier when they decided to open a permanent restaurant in McPherson. I have been their twice since they have opened, and I was pleased both times. Their tacos are amazing and recently tried their burritos. Tasty food and good service!

Love their Tortas and the Street Tacos. The Tortas is very filling, and a must try! The Tamales are also delicious. We phone in large orders(10-15 people) from work and they are always spot on.

La fogata has the right combination of quality food, price and service.
I had tried their burritos, enchiladas, tacos and tortas and everything has been great! I like their horchata and Jamaica too!
