What a pleasant place! I really did not expect such a gem. The staff was fantastic. The views are amazing and the course was in great shape.

Great golf course. Amazing golf in the plateau area of Greene, NY. This is a picture of a town that shows some of the better side of Green New York. The golf course is essentially the one of two places that is the most busy in the area. they let members off anytime they want as long as there's no frost on the Green. Pete McLean did a wonderful job all the way up until his 90th year and passed away but he has not been forgotten. His Son Stanley McLean does a great job running both a flourishing golf course but event and catering center as well. I am impressed by their staff who are all dress very professionally and do a good job.

I'm new to golf as in I have played twice both times at Genegantslet. Every time I have gone the staff has been amazing as well as other golfers.

Today I went with my son for his birthday. We had a great time and the older gentleman took time to talk to my son, wish him a happy birthday and on our way out ask him how the birthday boy did. To me good people make a place great.

I have no comparison but the 9 hole course is a blast. Definitely would recommend for new players.

Greens were good..staff friendly

Been here a few times over the years and always had a good experience. Stopped in for Father's Day and even during the pandemic they were still super helpful and friendly while maintaining social distancing and masking policies. We ordered simple meals and they were quick and delicious.

Great staff, great place for a work event. Virtual golf was fun when snows on the greens.

I got Married at Genegantslet this last Saturday and we can't say enough good things about them! Amy who coordinates all their events bent over backwards to accommodate us. She worked with our budget and thought of everything from decorating to making sure the bridal party got hors d'oeuvres while taking pictures. Everything was perfect and all our guests couldn't stop raving about how nice everything was. The food was heavenly the beer was crisp and cold the staff was friendly, smiling, and attentive. I truly feel like if we had picked any other venue our day wouldn't have been even half the success it was. They really helped make it a perfect day!

Great place to sneak in 9 holes or relax and get in the whole 18, generally not to crowded but always a good idea to call in advance to make sure your not going to run into a tournament or league. Also a good place to stop and eat even if your not golfing and they have a huge area to cater large events!

We were hired to provide music entertainment here. It's a great venue and the party had a blast with our DJ services( K&K 607 Music) , but also danced their butts off in the awesome space provided!

A great place to hold a golf tournament.

This golf course has incredible views of the beautiful genegantslet Valley. There is nothing like it on Earth that I've ever seen quite like this golf course. It is nestled between two mountainous hilly areas of Hills that are about a thousand feet up and they surround it on both sides. You can also catch eagles flying 2 catch the fish in the ponds that are so abundant here. There are eagles that live right at the golf course about a one minute flight away their nest is. This is where they hunt the Chenango River and the golf course. The bar is also very nice and has reasonable prices and they have great food. Stanley McLean has done an excellent job on this golf course. They also do catering and events that are on time and well priced as well. Their Pizza is absolutely to die for and Delicious By the way.

I have lived near the genegantslet golf course for a long time and I have to say I am very impressed. I grew up with my family working here and it's been a tradition to learn how to golf and then take your golf cart go over and do your golfing. The owner pete mclean was always super friendly and he has his own seat reserved for him. His son Stanley has since taking over the business and has done a great job. Sales are amazing and they get all of the proms and weddings in the area. Getting married on the 10th hole is an amazing tradition that has continued for Generations. They haven't great catering service and a friendly knowledgeable bartending staff and their waitress Annie has been working there for years and knows all the drinks and the area. The golf course is mowed meticulously and it is in between two sides of mountains in a gorgeous Valley so it's flat and you can just have the most luxurious views of the beautiful town of greene, New York. They are very friendly and had their catering many times and it is Top Notch. For pizza in the area it is also a recommended find that you wouldn't think had such an amazing pizza. They really tweaked there recipe in last year and it is much better. They have quick draw and amazing lunch and happy hour specials. They also have a golf pro shop with themed merchandise as well as golf clubs. it's beautifully decorated with flowers and a memorial for its owner Gordon Pete McLean that is kept Beautiful by his wife and step-daughter Bridget. They make sure that nobody forgets him each year having the annual Pete golf tournament. although it's been 4 years it's been really difficult losing him but the tradition carries on through his son and golfers that frequent the establishment.

Best place to golf or have an event. Had our daughters wedding reception there. Could not have been a better experience. Owners bent over backwards to make everything perfect

One of my favorite golf courses, great food, friendly staff, course is well maintain, the owner is very accessible and super friendly. Would recommend to anyone who enjoys golf or just to eat and relax.

Good place to golf with a great price for 18 and a cart on Saturdays

Very nice course and friendly staff. Also extremely reasonably priced. $32 with cart on a Saturday morning.
