Georgetown Vision Center

I had to find a new optometrist because of a change in insurance. Dr Birkmann was recommended. The staff was great. I'm a diabetic so my eye care is very important. They took time to talk with me and explain all the things and they were not pushy about getting new glasses. I would definitely recommend them.

I recently moved to Georgetown Vision Center after 15 years at a different eye center. Outstanding experience! Dr. Mooney was the most kind, caring, informative, efficient eye doctor ever. The receptionist, Jodie was the same, kind, polite, very efficient! The eye test tech, Hannah was so good, efficient, gentle, polite, kind. I will stay with Georgetown Vision Center forever. Thank you all.

I have used Georgetown Vision center for years and recently needed to replace by glasses. Bertha was fantastic and the rest of the staff were supportive by double checking measurements to ensure accuracy of the prescription. I appreciate Bertha's recommendations and being such a kind and caring individual. It such a welcoming place with great service. Thanks to all.

Everyone was warm, friendly and courteous. Dr Mike was professional, thorough, and a joy to work with during my eye exam. He doubled checked my prescription from another clinic to ensure accuracy and my comfort. I will continue using this clinic.

Bertha was very professional and helpful. I chose a pair of glasses that I liked because of the color, she explained to me why they were too big and the problems I would be having with them sliding down. She brought me several other designs that fit my face which I immediately realized the fit was much better. I purchased my previous glasses from another provider, they did not work with me in the size and they did not mark the progressive lenses correctly.
I had my eyes exam and there had been no change in my vision. The dr suggested I try getting new glasses. I have been wearing the wrong glasses for over a year because a representative sold me glasses just because of the color and was standing up when they marked the lenses. Bertha made a difference to ensure I had the best experience and best vision when I walked out of the store.

Thank you to all the staff that was so friendly! I was very pleased with my care, the Doctor listened to everything I said. I plan to encourage family & friends to come here.

The ladies up at the front desk are so approachable and friendly and Dr. Mooney gave me the most thorough eye exam I've ever had. He really took his time during the exam and afterwards he made sure that I had everything I needed without me even having to ask. Thanks y'all!

Scheduling my first initial appointment was much at ease with my flexible schedule and the office staff was friendly and professional and the optical technical was patient and competent, observant with her role as a team player within the vision settings and Dr. Mooney was very passionate about understanding my need for new glasses and very professional with understanding of how important is it to have healthy eye vision as well. Wonderful experience! The staff is friendly and Dr. Birkman was outstanding. I drove from out of town based on recommendations to see him and now understand why! It was easy to get an appointment the same week as a new patient and finally have a great glasses and contact lens prescription that is working for me! (Astigmatism/Nearsightedness- need low scrip for bifocals)

I visited them right before the thanksgiving weekend and I was late for my appointment as well(i feel really apologetic about that). But the staff was super sweet and amazing. They had so much patience, they stayed up late and never complained while I had to try on my first contact lenses as well. The doctor stayed late as well but such an amazing staff and doctor. And they gave us bunch of samples!
I super recommend this place!!

The ladies that answer the phone are the best! So friendly and quickly get you checked in. Then off to the back office where the technician get you ready for the eye doctor. I’ve not met a doctor as professional as Mark Birkman! Great experience! He covers it all.

Appreciate Hannah's patience with my contact training. Doc Berkman was also very informative and a pleasure to be checked by.

I had a great experience at Georgetown Vision. I am visiting family in the area and had an eye problem the day before Christmas Eve so didn’t think I couod get in anywhere. I called several places before being welcomed by the nice lady that needed the phone. I was quincy seen and treated by Dr Brickman. Highly recommend this office!

Excellent experience! Welcoming, patient staff. Took two of my kids here (8 and 6), the doctor and all assisting staff were AWESOME. Check-in was painless. We got there early, and they were able to take us back early (always nice when that works out). Doctor even took time with my 7 year old who didn’t have/need an appointment but was feeling left out. Turn around time at the adjoined store was one day for 1 pair of kid’s prescription glasses.

The front desk staff were nice.. the Dr did a great job and the person that helped me with my contacts was excellent! I wish I had gotten her name. I highly recommend this place

I came here about a week ago for an eye exam. The staff here is very professional and nice. A few days before my appointment I was sent a form to fill out, so once I got there for my appointment, I only had to wait about five minutes in the lobby. Dr. Birkmann was very nice! I had a lot of questions during my exam but he answered all of them thoroughly and kindly. Georgetown Vision Center felt very safe during this pandemic. When I walked in I had my temperature checked. All the staff wore masks and the eye equipment was wiped down before I used it. I don't live in Georgetown, but if I did I would definitely always come here for eye exams!

Great clinic!
I'm 40 now and I've had glasses for about 5-6 years. This time I decided to try contacts for the first time ever. They put them in for me and made sure I could get them out and back in on my own. They feel great! Can't even tell they're in and I don't have to worry about glare or scratches on my glasses anymore.

My daughter was also there for her eye exam and the doctor made everyone feel comfortable, and was very patient.

Really great experience overall. Highly recommend.
