Yellowstone Park Hotel

Closer to Yellowstone than I thought. Clean hotel, great pool hours, fun playroom. And the best part was their free amenities like the ice cream social, s’mores kit, water in your fridge. The staff was awesome, and you have the choice of purchasing a stuffed animal from your room.

Yellowstone Park Hotel may be a small hotel, but the service they offer and the professionalism of the staff packs a punch! We loved our stay and thank everyone for their kindness - especially the witty, Michael!!!

We enjoyed our stay here very much. The Snow Coach Tours pick-up spot is right from their lobby, so it was super convenient. Nice older hotel with amenities and a great staff! Very nice folks!

The best hotel stay we've had in a while! The staff is friendly and proactively set up a roll away in our room. The location is excellent. The breakfast is good. The pool is great, and there's a super cool game room (completely free) like I've never seen a hotel have. They have free laundry machines- you just need to provide your own detergent.

A great place for some to stay, but it worked really well for our family.

Excellent hotel experience from staff, cleanliness, atmosphere, and absolute comfort! The beads are so comfortable! They also serve a complementary breakfast like no others. They have eggs, bacon, potatoes, and breakfast burritos. They also offer cereals, pastries and cooked oatmeal as well as the usual breakfast drinks and coffee on plates with silverware. And don’t hesitate to ask for recommendations for restaurants, they were very helpful for us. The price is a little high but we decided it was worth it after staying one night at a hotel for half the price with a comfortable bed and then staying here. We just couldn’t do two nights at this price. But the quiet atmosphere, we never heard anyone else from our room, the overall comfort, friendliness of staff and breakfast made the real difference.

The Yellowstone Park Hotel was a perfect place to lodge during our recent visit to West Yellowstone. The location is just off the main road so you have the quiet privacy as well as walking distance to restaurants and shops. The employees were very friendly and helpful during our stay. They provide an ice cream and s’mores happy hour in the evening- a fire pit with chairs all around are ready for you near the entrance and plenty of lounge chairs inside. The pool and hot tub provides great relaxation for adults at the end of the day while the kids swim around. There is a laundry space provided for those traveling multiple days and need a fresh up. My kids really enjoyed the game room in the basement! It has a brand new vibe and very clean environment. Something for everyone is provided. We will definitely stay here again and I would recommend others to give it a visit when planning your next trip to Yellowstone.

An older hotel for sure, but very clean, cozy and well staffed. Should we ever return to West Yellowstone, we will be coming back here.

We changed our hotel last minute to the Yellowstone Park Hotel due to it being cheaper and I’m glad we did. The rooms were very nice, clean, and spacious. All the workers were very friendly and the pool and hot tub were nice as well. Breakfast was decent, and they provide complimentary S’mores and ice cream every night. Will definitely stay here again in the future.

I had a wonderful 2 week stay here. I will keep it simple. The location is prefect right next to the entrance road and easy walk to the main strip. The room was very nice. But the best thing the staff is fantastic. Don't believe me though, just ask for Michael you'll be happy you did. They made my stay perfect thanks yall.

This beautiful hotel has average sized rooms, a decent pool, and an okay breakfast (the gentleman who staffs it is not so thrilled to be there). But it gets five stars due to the front desk staff (Michael is outstanding- give him a raise and let him teach people how to treat guests), the game room, the amenities such as ice cream, s’mores, and laundry, the extras such as the bikes and tours, and the wonderful decor. We wish our room would have been cleaned one of the days during our visit, but never requested it. It’s a killer location and I can’t wait to try the cabins in the future.

The rooms were nice and clean, pool was GREAT! and the game room was super fun, besides the fact that you can't play together on any of the games. The breakfast was surprisingly delicious, and the whole hotel was great!

This hotel is so cozy and comfy the minute you walk in! On the outside, when walking in, there’s a fire pit and many tables to hang out. The lobby has such a warm atmosphere. The rooms are great too. The beds are very comfortable, with down comforters and fluffy pillows. The bathroom has Stress Relief bottles in the shower for you to use. The staff was very accommodating. Our first room smelled like horrible garlic, but the front desk immediately switched us to another room. The breakfast was okay, just typical hotel food. All around, this hotel is definitely worth the money.

This was surprisingly a great place to stay. Very family friendly. There's a large game room in the basement for the kids. There's free ice cream and smores kits for the kids along with a fire pit every night. The drive into Yellowstone isn't bad and it's much cheaper then staying in the park.

Great hotel, very friendly staff and clean and comfortable bed. A bit pricey but the location right next to the park entrance is worth it. We also had fun in the little arcade hidden away in the basement, with real retro Pacman!

They have free washer and dryer, free ice cream, they offer mats for yoga. Overall they are doing their best to make sure guests are comfortable happy and satisfied. I would recommend staying here.

Awesome service. Amenities like binoculars, game room, hot tub are cool. Breakfast is awesome, they serve tornadeoes, which is unique. But had it everyday for 5 days, still no complaints.

I could not recommend this hotel enough! It almost feels like a family owned hotel that wants to attend to your every need in an authentic, personal way. The staff were incredible, especially Jennifer, who made every effort to make our stay amazing! There are several fun areas to hang out in the hotel including an awesome game room on the basement floor that our kids loved! The room was great-comfortable beds and met all of our needs. Lots of things to borrow like bikes, binoculars, bear spray, etc. We enjoyed the 24 he coffee bar, ice cream social hour every day, s’more‘s kits, indoor pool and hot tub and the free continental breakfast for great grab and go items for our adventures in Yellowstone. The hotel is within walking distance of tons of restaurants and shops and only 1 mile from the West Yellowstone park entrance. We could not have had a better experience and would definitely come back again and again!

Rooms were clean, they had free s'more kits, staff was friendly, ambiance was nice, however the breakfast was a little disappointing. The protein options were limited to yogurt and peanut butter.

We really enjoyed our time at Yellowstone Park Hotel! The extra amenities were a nice touch, especially giving our kids something new after many hotels with no surprises. We liked the 'ice cream party' and 'smores', but the game room (with shuffleboard, Foosball, etc) was an unexpected highlight! The room was really spacious with one of the beds in a separate room. We all slept well and had a relaxing evening following several days exploring Yellowstone. Highly recommend it for families. It's also a great location, right by the most convenient entrance to Yellowstone!

We stayed here for 4 nights and we really enjoyed staying here. We love the amenities like the s'mores, free ice cream, complimentary laundry, the coffee and hot tea available all day. My son loved the game room and the pool, he couldn’t believe there was an xbox game in the room. I personally felt like the big pool water was a bit cold. Breakfast was okay, I hope they have more hot options available, like fresh eggs, potatoes, fresh waffles, sausage, but everything was cold like yogurt, cereal, they only had hot sausage cheese rolls. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. If they upgrade their breakfast menu we will be staying here again.
