Golden Stone Inn

Perfect place to stay in West Yellowstone. Cozy and quaint, it has everything you need. They had delicious breakfast and coffee served in the mornings to get you started for your day. Friendly staff and very clean luxurious rooms. A short walk to everything in town.

We really enjoyed our time here. The staff was very kind and accommodating. Rooms were clean spacious well kept. Very close to our rental company and really anything in town. Breakfast was very good.would definitely stay here again.

If you are looking to stay at a lovely, comfortable, newer property just 1 mile from Yellowstone National Park's west entrance, look no further... THIS IS IT! From the moment we first stepped into the office and were greeted by the truly exceptional host, Miera Odell, we felt completely welcomed and at home. Our room (a standalone king-bed cottage, #24) was perfectly clean, cozy, and beautiful, and we very much enjoyed sitting by the firepit(s) each night -- complete with s'mores provided by the Inn. We could not have asked for a better experience on our very first trip to Yellowstone, and we will absolutely stay at the Golden Stone Inn again on our next visit (it really felt like our home-away-from-home). I would give this place 10 stars if that were an option... go experience it for yourself!

Just got back from a 3 night stay in West Yellowstone. The young lady at the front desk who checked us in is terrific and very helpful. We had booked kind of late and stayed in room 31 for 2 nights and had to move to a cabin room 21 the 3rd night. She took care of it and was very diligent! The rooms were clean, shower very strong and great. Suggestions would be to offer water bottles (include without charge) for the guests (be a nice thing as you need to hydrate in the altitude). Not sure if breakfast was better if you physically went into the lounge as we had early morning departures into the park. If you got a basket prior, it was a premade egg sandwich, guess we could heat it up in the lounge in a microwave. Maybe our fault as would have preferred some baked goods instead. Great location! Nice town with some good eats. Oh, High speed internet as advertised not in every room. Our first room very poor internet (room 31). We stayed in cabin room 21 the last night and internet was much better. Not a big deal as you can go in lounge to get internet coverage, may want to add repeaters where weak.

We were super happy w our stay here at Golden Stone Inn, it’s a very intimate and quaint place to stay which is what we wanted when visiting the area. Great location - is just down the street from town where the shops and restaurants are located; they’ve got a good selection of breakfast items and the coffee was delicious!
the staff were friendly & helpful w regards to tours and things to see in the area. rooms were clean and very aesthetically pleasing. we highly recommend this place if you’re planning a trip to West Yellowstone!!

Our stay here was fantastic. We only stayed one night but wished we could've stayed longer. Super close to the west gate entrance of Yellowstone. We were in a middle triplex king room; not sure if we had "neighbors" as we didn't hear anything outside our room. The room was modern, beautifully and thoughtfully appointed, and very clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. We ate dinner and enjoyed some drinks around the fire pits in the evening. We would definitely stay here again!

The room was great - clean, spacious, and very comfortable. But their customer service was even better. We had to check out early because of an illness and they were kind enough to refund us a night which I totally didn't expect. Will recommend them to anyone staying in West Yellowstone and already trying to plan a trip back ourselves!

We LOVED staying here! The fire pit with the s'mores was so lovely to come home to in the evening. The breakfast is included with your stay and that was filling and delicious - and the ablity to snag road snacks (which you will need when exploring the park all day). The staff is accommodating and friendly. Highly recommend this place.

Great location! Close to everything. Rooms and grounds were neat and tidy. Breakfast had a good selection and was always ready and presented well. The fire pits were lit every night and the complimentary smores kits were a great plus. Definitely stay there again. Be sure to book a fly fishing trip with their parent company Big Sky Anglers.

OMG, this place is so nice!! I’m so happy I booked a cabin at the Golden Stone Inn. So clean! Comfortable. Heating kept the room perfect. Staff is top notch. I enjoyed the breakfast and breakfast/gathering room, it’s a nice place to hang out, read, have a glass of wine. Nothing at all bad about this place. Worth the price and I would love to stay again.

Fantastic location in West Yellowstone with large, clean, newly renovated rooms. Amenities were great, with a large TV, coffee maker and fridge, as well as two comfortable chairs inside and two on the porch. The communal firepits are a nice addition as well. They offer to-go breakfast for early risers heading to the park.

My wife and I had an amazing stay here the rooms were always clean bathrooms were set up well and even have a heater. The breakfast was great. The staff are fantastic and go above and beyond to help guests with any issues. If we go to Yellowstone again we will without a doubt be staying here again.

Hands down the best place to stay in West Yellowstone. Close to town, the West Gate and any restaurant in town. Rooms and cabins are spotless and comfortable. The breakfast and coffee are great and time saving. The fire pits are my favorite place in the evenings after spending a day in the park or on the river with Big Sky Anglers. 2023 update GSI continues its high level of service and quality. I cannot fathom a visit to the Greater Yellowstone area without staying at GSI

Great cabins! We really enjoyed our stay. The staff is wonderful and helpful. The breakfast is very delicious. And the cabins are clean, cozy and spacious with a western modern feel. Great Basecamp for all your adventures in the area!

Nice, clean and modern cabins, definitely enjoyed our stay. There are fire pits outside for use and the lobby has a good beer selection. Most of all the cabins are pet friendly so we stay will again when up in the area!

We enjoyed our stay! They staff was very helpful with helping us navigate how to get to Yellowstone. Tayj was able to answer all of our questions and was extremely helpful! We have already decided that we will be coming back to Cody, WY & will stay here!

We had a great 4 nights at the Golden Stone Inn when we visited Yellowstone in late July. We loved the privacy of the individual cabins, yet the sense of community with the owners and other guests who gathered around the fire pit in the central courtyard in the evenings. We enjoyed hearing the sounds of the kids and adults on the zip lines at the adjacent adventure park. The covered patio was an awesome place to sit and take in the afternoon thunderstorms that occur in the Montana summers. We truly enjoyed the area, and would make Golden Stone Inn our first choice for lodging if we are fortunate enough to return

We really liked the location and the room was awesome. We stayed on the south, east, and south side of the park. This buy far was the best value for our money.
Nice rooms, breakfast was awesome as well.
Best part was how quiet it was.

Golden stone inn is the nicest place to stay in West Yellowstone. You can pair fishing with Big Sky Anglers and they make everything easy and covenant. Great little breakfast in the mornings and the vibe is chill. Nice fire pits in the center courtyard with nice porches to enjoy a bottle of wine. Comfy beds nice showers and all updated and clean. Great service and great people, would not stay any where else.
