Juan's El Caporal

Went for lunch on Sunday before Memorial Day after a good hike near Medford. Quick service and good food. Nachos were crisp with good sauce on the side. Flan and strawberry lemonade were both excellent. Tostada was crisp and alright.

Great treasure here in the Valley. Far better than the other local chain. Service was excelent. Chips and salsa were included and very good. They have an outdoor seating area which is very nice with a breeze. The meal was very good and filling. Just plainly, I highly recommend trying it out!

Went to this restaurant with a buddy and had lunch. Food was great and the waitress was good. Thank you to Juan's for a great place to eat.

Nice Little Place. We drive by all the time. Thought we would stop in and check it out. Juan took care of us very well! Great food, great prices and great service!

Absolutely loved our waitress tonight. Very outgoing and my son and daughter were messing around and spilled a drink and she didn't even hesitate to help clean it and made sure to know it was all okay that accidents happen. We will be back for sure!!!

I love finding great places like t his because you are not paying for fancy trappings and decor. The owners are improving the interior constantly. However, the main reason I go t o Juans El Corporal is the food. Delicious and we'll presented. You'll love it. Price is right. Food is good. Very good.

Best Mexican food in the Rogue Valley. Worth the drive. Great service from a family owned restaurant. Support them, they lost their home in the Butte Falls fire. ♥💪🏽

Small little restaurant with great food.

The is one of our go to's. We have a lot of family birthdays here. Always vary friendly. Food consistently fresh. As you can see our grandbaby loves the salsa.

Friendly staff. Quick service. Good food. The chicken was great and tasted great. The prices were very reasonably priced. A good spot to get some respite from cell phones and have a good conversation.

Great place, homey atmosphere, on top of excellent food and service. We arrived at the peak of the evening rush, but the friendly staff quickly found us a table even though the place was jammed! We ordered a fairly wide variety of dinner entrees and everything was excellent! Our food arrived very quickly especially considering how busy they were. We’ll definitely go back!

I don't know why it's taken me so long to review this place, honestly. I'm certain that I have eaten more than a hundred meals here. Literally. They've been in business for more than 15 years and I've been eating here that entire time. Sometimes my wife and I will eat here once a week and it FEELS like too often. This place is definitely the classic depiction of "hole-in-the-wall" restaurant. It's clean, but it's not well put together. I don't eat here for the atmosphere, I eat here for the tasty food. Again, literally HUNDREDS of meals and never a bad one. Sure, some haven't been as good as others but I've never had a poor experience here. It can be crowded, it can be noisy, and sometimes there's even a line outside waiting to get in. If you're in the Shady Cove/ Eagle Point area and want some Mexican-American food I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place. Don't bother with Miguel's; come eat at Juan's El Caporal.
