My experience overall was 5 stars. After making my initial purchase I hadn’t heard anything from steel mountain and I was concerned so I reached out to customer service and was contacted by their sales manager and informed delivery would be soon.
I then changed my mind on the safe I wanted and they helped me do that without issue and helped me easily upgrade to a better and more secure Winchester instead of the sports a field I had initially purchased. I initially changed to a scratch and dent Winchester but received a call back saying that they had just sold it and were instead going to honor the price on a new one. With the holidays happening it was a little slower than I had hoped to receive the safe but understandable. The sales manager himself ended up delivering my safe and he even helped me get it into my house when that was not included in the free delivery. Steve was awesome to talk to and ended up being extremely helpful.

Absolutely amazing experience at Steel Mountain Safe Co. The selection is great, they have new and used safes in various sizes. We worked with Steve and his customer service was great, he was friendly and knowledgeable on all of the products. Over all my husband and I had a great sales experience here and would recommend this shop to anyone that's looking for a new safe.

Awesome, Awesome, Awesome, they were very professional and courtesies they picked my safe up in North Idaho and delivered it to my my house in Washington for a fraction of other estimates and they were very professional about getting the safe into my home without damaging it I highly recommend them. Love love LOVE our new Winchester safe! It came with all the bells and whistles, even interior lights. The only gripe we have is the length of time it took with lack of communication during the delay. But once we expressed our concern and frustration, communication then came regularly until it was delivered. They even moved old one out to the garage. Thank you!

Steer clear and find someone who will actually bring you a safe when they sell it to you and not attempt to steal your money ....October 21st of 2023 I ordered my safe. I was told 7 to 14 days for delivery that grew to one month which grew to 2 months which came with problems with shipping. There's snow on the hill. I'll get it to you when I can. The one week that he finally decided to deliver the safe. I had told him I would be out of town so when he knew I wasn't able to be there he stated he can deliver it, so of course it wasn't delivered that week either because I wasn't home.... Then it was promised a larger, safe and inside free delivery then on January 24th. I no longer received calls or text messages back. I continued to call. I continue to text to try to find out if I could get my safe delivered and to this day April 12th 2024 6 months later. I still have not received any email or text or call back. 15 days ago I remembered that Steve, who I guess is the owner of steel Mountain safe Had me use Paypal to send him the funds. I called them, chatted with them about what was happening. Gave them all of the details and because I had not received my safe and it had been so long they were able to get my money back. I still have not received anything from Steel Mountain Safe. I don't even know if they're still in business because when you call the phone numbers there's no way to leave a message and the phone for the office Verizon says cannot be reached.... Unfortunately you can't give negative Stars because at this point I would give a -20 after being promised being lied to being told it would be there then it not showing up them being lied to again. I believe this is a very dishonest company as well as a very dishonest man. I see some reviews on here about how wonderful he is and how he delivers safes in just a few days. I would question if they're not him using profiles. If you use your credit card, don't let him string you along too long because you only have three billing cycles and then they will not go after the money and you'll have to try To get it on your own... My advice read some of the posts. Also look at the better Business bureau. Many people have filed their same thing that I am saying steer clear. Save yourself the hassle and buy something from someone else who will actually deliver it and who won't lie to you... If you have any questions, I still have all the text messages and emails...

DO NOT BUY FOM THESE JACK'S! They are a total rip off, will take your payment in full with the promise of 4-6 week delivery. I have reached out multiple times through various ways (ie Facebook, text, call, email,) and not had one response. Filing a dispute with the credit card company and will be reaching out the the state attorney general as it looks as if I am not the only one recently who has had the same issue. Please, any others who are going through the same circumstance, reach out to the state attorney general's office for hopeful investigation. Shame on these people. Shame!

Ordered a safe almost 2 months ago. Was told it could take 10-12 days max for delivery of the safe. Ive called twice a week since asking for an update. You call the local number, but i think it sends you to the midwest, and they keep telling me the same thing, someone from sales will get ahold of me. Also sent emails, all with no response. I shouldn't have the physically go down there for follow through. Not sure what im going to do,i ordered a safe cause i needed it, but srill dont have it. Might have ro go elsewhere. Not sure wht its so hard to respond to customers.

Order and paid for a safe. Never responded to phone calls text or emails. Filed a dispute with my credit card company luckily I was able to get my money back. I don't recommend you do business with this VERY SHADY company.

Ordered and paid for a Legacy53 11/28/2023. Good communications till a month ago. Now I can not get any response from them, still do not have my safe. What was supposed to be less than two weeks for delivery, now over eight weeks. Thinking I am getting ripped off of my hard earned money.

Extremely unhappy with this company. Started the process of buying a gun safe this last summer and was first told they were out of the one I wanted but more coming soon. Then salesman said there was a delay. Put out multiple calls to salesman with no response. Called this week more than once to salesman and manager. No response even after manager said he would put an "urgent" notation for salesman. Still no response and that was 4 days ago. Taking our business elsewhere and spreading the word.

Purchased a Remington gun safe for $3,700 on 8/29/23 safe still has not shipped by 10/7/23 and told them I want a refund and have not heard anything back from them they have ignored me for days seem like a scam or sorry people running the business either way would not recommend

We ordered a Safe and still haven’t got it.
Every time we call there is no answer and the mailbox is full. They do not respond to emails. This is a scam and they are being reported.!!!
