Great location and atmosphere with indoor and outdoor seating. Views of the beach and Cayucos Pier. Can get busy, but worth it. They don't do reservations for groups under 8, but you can call up to 30 min ahead and get put on a waitlist.

Lots of great food and drink options. I had the ahi sashimi, almond crusted coho salmon, and Stormy Sunset.

What a fantastic gem! We went on Valentines Day and was afraid it might be crowded but we were seated upstairs on their outdoor patio right away, very nice young lady who seated us. I had read the reviews thoroughly just to read the owners responses, whoever you are I have a crush on you! You are wonderfully hysterical and hope to meet you someday, I would have still come here even if all the reviews were terrible lol. The service was a bit slow but the food and the waitress totally made up for it. We got the set Valentines Day menu, we chose the beet salad that was to die for!!! The scallop risotto that was luscious and the cheesecake 😜 my spicy Bloody Mary was just ok, not sure I’d get another one. The patio is really cute and they have nice heaters. I can’t wait till we return! Oh the calamari was super good! Thank you for such a really nice experience♥ We will be back every time we visit my “happy place”

Our first time here. What a terrific restaurant. The food was delicious, the waitress was stellar, the view of the Cayucos Pier at sunset was stunning. The patio heaters made it very pleasant to sit outside in the evening. We'll be back for sure.

Everything is fantastic here, including the live music on Sundays.

The prices are expensive but the quality is always on point.

The BEST place for a wedding reception! The owner worked with us for months in advance to make sure everything was perfect for our big day! Very reasonably priced and accommodating! The food was amazing, as always, and the views are absolutely beautiful! EVERYONE at the reception RAVED about the food and the atmosphere! This has always been one of my hubby's and mine favorite places to eat when we go to the coast and they TOTALLY delivered for our wedding reception as well!

Everything about this place was amazing! We had a view of the ocean on the outside patio with the heaters on which made it super pleasant. The sun set while we had dinner and it was stunning. I enjoyed the clam chowder and fish&chips which was delicious while we watched people surf! The waitress also gave us some amazing recommendations to go experience in the area! Def going back next time we are in Cayucos🙏🏽

This review is a long time coming. The location and view is perfect, the Aussie bartender never misses a beat and pours a great cocktail. So you could excuse the joint if the food was just allright, but it's always exceptional. Ahi tacos are my go-to, but my wife loves the shrimp. Burgers are legit, salads are excellent too. Great place.

Great location with an excellent view of the beach and pier. Food is good, too, lots of variety. Onion rings are awesome! Clam chowder is think & creamy. Fish (cod or halibut) and chips are outstanding! Staff is friendly and efficient. Prices are fair. Always a must whenever we're in town.

A great watering hole with perfect ocean views. At the right time of the year the view includes whale spouts. Dolphins, sea otters, sea lions and brown pelicans often frequent the area as well. The beer selection and food offerings are just what you want from a beach bar and restaurant (wine and d cocktails are also available). Their clam chowder, calamari and fish tacos are favorites. There is seating inside, outside, upstairs and down (there is a dog friendly seating area downstairs). The staff members are very friendly. If you’re there around 4:30pm you might get to encounter Randy the Pirate, a local legend. If he’s there, you won’t have to ask, you’ll know it. Great stop.

We went to Schooners yesterday for lunch. It was excellent. I ordered the Patty Melt with sweet potato fries and my wife ordered the fish and chips. The fish was fresh and perfectly cooked as was my Patty Melt and sweet potato fries. Great view, atmosphere and service. We will return in the future.

Food quality is the BEST. Had the Crab Cakes and the Alaskan Cod & Chips. Perfection 👌

The experience was even more brilliant when a whale 🐋 showed up, feeding on a large whirlpool of plankton! We watched it the entire time we enjoyed our late lunch. Just magical!

Love this place. We found it a couple years ago. Went back today and it's still Amazing. Very clean great atmosphere. We were seated in the Bar. The Bartender is so friendly and helpful. The food was wonderful..its definitely my favorite restaurant there.

I had a wonderful time with my family here. The view at the top deck was awesome and the food was great. Please visit if you are ever in the area.

Always fabulous. Best calamari in town. Excellent fries. Eat upstairs at the bar or patio for fabulous views. One of our favorite places.

Came back here after a few months. Had oysters and pasty melt. Was real good. Service was quick. Much better than last time. Views are awesome as usual. Like coming here when passing through.

I went to the upstairs bar with a view of the ocean. I'm not sure if it's a small bar or a big bar. It was my first time. It felt like a really nice, cozy place. The customers are really nice, warm and open. The staff was also really nice and open. There were only about 10 people there.
