Hoover Greenhouse and Country Gardens

Very nice greenhouse with a huge selection. This is usually one of my first stops when the growing season starts, because they have a wide variety of perennials that have already been hardened off and can be planted early. In addition to a big selection of annuals and vegetables, they also have a nice variety of succulents and houseplants of all sizes. Always worth a visit!

Amazing place! They have any plant you could wish for, and at affordable prices. We usually buy all our flowers and vegetable plants here. They sell trees, tropical plants, house plants, fertilizer, hanging baskets, planters, ferns, exotic plants; just anything basically. They also sell fish, cookies, drinks... They offer to personalize planters for you, and also get them stabilized, before you pick them up. If you haven't stopped here yet, please do! It's well worth it! Customer service is also excellent!

A wonderful greenhouse in beautiful Penn Yan. I had such a great growing year thanks to the wonderful plants we purchased here. Tomatoes, Cherry Tomatoes, Ivy Geranium were among my top performers. Always helpful and I adore the plantings they have along the side of the greenhouse and parking lot too!

We're fortunate to have plenty of wonderful greenhouses in the area, but Hoover takes the top prize due to their amazing selection, healthy plants, friendly staff, and incredible prices. I can't say enough wonderful things about this business.

Was recommended to me by my FIL (from Fairport) as worth the drive. I was skeptical that it could be that much better than elsewhere, but was pleasantly surprised. Huge stock, healthy plants, and great prices. What I got for $200 there vs anywhere near Canandaigua cannot be beat. I will definitely be making the drive back out again!

Large greenhouse with lots of flowers and vegetables. They also have some tropical plants like hibiscus. And they have quite a few succulents. The whole place is very well organized and taken care of, and the prices are reasonable. The employees are helpful.
