Kimochi

I was EXTREMELy excited when I heard about this new boba tea place in Worcester. However, it did not meet all of the expectations that I had.

It is located in a newer building on Shrewsbury St, which makes an awesome location. The interior is very nice. It has a really modern, minimal, and instagramish feel, great place to sit down and enjoy a drink and desert. They really did knock it out of the park with the ambiance.

Now for the boba tea... The presentation is awesome, the cup has a cool shape, and the colors pop. The tea however, was a really subpar. The milk tea felt really heavy, the boba were very hard, and needed to be cooked a little to get soften. Felt like I was chewing paintball pellets. The flavor was also washed out, maybe it could've been because there was too much milk. "Gngcha" still has the number one spot for boba tea in Worcester.

Now, the mochi donuts on the other hand were delicious. They were extremely fluffy and flavorful, and had extremely pronounced flavors. The lavender really felt like I was eating something infused, the maple really tastes like maple. I will definitely come back, and recommend this to everyone.

Overall it was a good experience. The service was really good. The people were friendly. I would come back for the mochi, but I don't know if I would get the boba, unless there is a really big change, but that's just my take.

I would recommend people to try this place because you might have a different experience.

The brown sugar milk tea was mouth watering good, the boba were pristine, and they don’t overfill with boba or ice! Beautiful store and a great hangout place!

First time trying mochi donuts and absolutely loved it. The donuts are very light and fresh and there's a lot of flavors available. The staff is super nice and the interior is very pleasing, will definitely visit again soon!

My experience: today July 15th 2023, was my first time walking into this new boba place that has opened. Just walked into a cozy like cafe place where you can probably do your homework in. There was only 1 employee which who helped us out with the flavors and type of boba they sell. It doesn’t see or sound much. But it’s definitely a must go to place. I should him a specific boba image that they have and he explained to me what it has. Like the 2 different types of milk I would like and the if I wanted whipped cream or foam on the top of the drink. He is a really helpful person. So if you’re looking for a new place instead of going to the same place, this is the place for you.

My little sister’s experience: The boba was so good I was happy for the rest of the evening. It was only 1 employee who works there, he did an amazing job.I recommend this place if you are craving boba.

The Ambience and the owners are just phenomenal. It’s a New in upcoming place. Definitely worth checking out.

This place is closed, they closed with zero warning to staff and customers. Not to mention they paid the Managers minimum wage, I would know because I was one of them. I worked 13-hour shifts by myself for 15 an hour ( minimum wage in Massachusetts) , just to get laid off with no waring.
