We came in today for my daughter to practice archery. My cousin got to shoot a bow for the first time. Wow! So impressed with the facility and staff! Will and Attila are incredibly knowledgeable archers and if I lived closer I would take lessons from them. Great prices as well. Can’t wait to come back!

It's been too long since we practiced. It was great to shoot again. They have excellent employees. Jenn helped us with some ideas for new guns.

To celebrate our first wedding anniversary we decided to go to the range. This was practically our first time shooting/handling a gun and Mike made our experience great! He helped us check in and pick the guns to rent and provided safety and reloading demo. He is kind, and very knowledgeable and patient when we were picking his brain with questions. We were able to rent the guns they had, buy the ammo, and get different targets! Definitely will be back!

Buck & Does are amazing, I brought the wife in to learn how to shoot and Paul, the highly trained instructor was great, he treated her with the greatest of respect and he helped her with all aspects of shooting including safety. What a great experience and great place.

My son and I visited Buck & Does 0n July 30th and had a fantastic time. The exterior of the facility was clean and inviting. with plenty of parking. Upon entering we were greeted and directed to the proper desk for range access. The employee who inspected our firearms and ammo was extremely friendly and professional, He explained the rules of the range and directed us to the lane we would be using. Seeing we had brought in more firearms than we could easily lug to the range he provided us a rolling cart, helped load and escorted us to the lanes.
The indoor range is second to none.It was in showroom condition.Usually when we go to other ranges the brass is everywhere presenting a trip / slip hazard but not here. The range condition was very clean and well managed for safety. The shooters `bench / stations we very clean as well no old shot up targets or debri to deal with. The shooter has control of the lighting and target distance in each lane. I did not see any damaged equipment of lane that could not be used .
Restrooms were also well maintained.
We had a great afternoon at Buck & Does .We appreciated being greeted and serviced by friendly professional employees who truly understand customer service. If you have young ones and want a safe family oriented range to train on I would highly recommend Buck & Does.

My family loves this place. It’s the kind of atmosphere where you want to learn everyone’s name because they’re so friendly and inviting. The range is clean, safe and fun. The boutique gives off that small town vibe with great products and prices. The lounge is clean and our little one loves hanging out there while my wife and I take turns shooting or shopping. They not only have everything you need for your shooting sports and archery practice needs, but the knowledge from the staff as well just confirms you’re making the right decision. Best range in San Antonio in my humble opinion.

Buck and Does is where it’s at. Not only are their employees helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly, but their firearm selection is vast and well priced. They have great membership rates and a couple cool perks that come with that as well.

I’ve lived in both Colorado and Texas and have visited plenty of ranges across the two states and this is the best indoor range by far.

On my very first visit I was treated like a lifetime customer, they certainly earned one! The customer service here is second to none. I’ve been to several shops in SA, and this is hands down the best one.

A big shout out to Mike who gave me and my girlfriend a personal shooting lesson, he was patient, funny and worked well with all skill levels. If you go anywhere else in the city other than Bucks, you’re doing yourself a disservice!!

I love that Buck & Does offers classes and different events. A very pro customer focused establishment.

This place is one of our go to places. Been here few times even got a membership for the range. Today was probably not one of the best days. Was told by one of the range safety officers they are gonna get my arrows and break them across his knee. Good luck with all that. He had a horrible attitude his ability to try to defuse a situation is not a good one for a range safety officer. We will continue to go won't let this individuals attitude or his short fuse keep us from doing what we wanna go. We have had great encounters with him in the past. But I do think he needs some training on how to deescalate a situation. Especially as the face of B&D.

I have had nothing but absolutely positive experiences here! As someone brand new to firearms I was nervous, but the staff made me feel right at home almost immediately. I have learned a ton about my new hobby, and my only regret is that I didn’t get the range membership on my first outing. The classes have been great as well! You are in great hands here, and although the staff is super knowledgeable, they are not shy about asking each other when they don’t know something. Happy 7th birthday Buck & Doe’s!

My husband and I always enjoy our time at the range, thanks to the friendly and attentive staff. I particularly recommend their private lessons. A special shout-out to Helene for her exceptional guidance. Her patience, helpfulness, and expertise truly stand out. Highly recommend to anyone looking to improve their skills in a welcoming environment! Their boutique also has amazing finds.

Got a membership here recently and have been going a few times a week since then. The employees are very nice and welcoming to people all of experience levels. They have a great inventory and are fair on prices. Range is clean, well ventilated, and everything is well maintained. As far as safety they do a great job of keeping an eye on all of the lanes at all times, but also give you room to breathe unlike some places. Highly recommend them and will continue to train here as long as i’m in town!

Purses,bags and pouches that are great for concealing your small weapons.Outdoor camping equipment and hunting equipment. Assortment of courses, We rented a few guns to try before we bought in their indoor range. I recommend the "Personal/Private" course ; covers safety , laws /home invasion, ,how to clean, handle, load n fire your gun. There's a discount If you're in a group of two or more . Our instructor Jeremy was awesome- is professional, knowledgeable and patient . Friendly and helpful staff, Plenty of parking, handicap accessible and clean.

Me and my friends are from Belgium and had never shot before in our lives. Ron explained everything really well, he showed us how to safely handle and shoot a gun. It was a pleasure talking with him about guns & other stuff.

I would definitely recommend B&Ds to everyone I know. And if possible, I’d come back myself some day to hopefully shoot with Ron again!

Amazing place. We were first time shooters from Canada and Mike was a amazing instructor. He gave us a run through and was very patient. Definitely recommended this place.

Been a member for about 6 month. I mainly utilize the archery range, which is very clean and well maintained. The gun range is very clean and well maintained as well. Staff is amazing…very friendly and always willing to help anyway they can . The store front is clean and well stocked.

The staff is always courteous and helpful and the private lesson instructor, Ron, was knowledgeable and very professional. This is the place to go for all your shooting needs! Two thumbs up!

We took our four little ones in for their first archery lesson in preparation for summer camp (archery is one of the daily activities at camp)…what a wonderful experience and the kids LOVED it! John was incredibly patient and kind with each of our kids. We will absolutely be back for more lessons! And the store is super cute and they have a wonderful selection of boutique clothing and gifts!

While packing my rifle for a trip to Africa I noticed that the safety was inoperable. I took it to Buck and Does just days before leaving. The outstanding performance of manager Roman and the gunsmith repaired my rifle and returned it to me in record time allowing me to take it with me. Their customer service is outstanding!
