An excellent spot. Oysters and watermelon salad were delicious. We unintentionally arrived before they were officially open but they still let us order drinks and enjoy the view until they started taking food orders. Offered water refills for our pup too. We’ll be back!

The most delicious roasted oysters and superb fried oysters, the tacos and bahn mi sandwiches are super tasty too - and every item on the menu is budget friendly. Really, there's absolutely nothing to NOT like, it's all fresh made by Tom and team, who are the BEST crew - friendly and kind and sincere, real pros. The view, just WOW, romantic vibes with chill tunes. And truly people, when visiting this place, you're a real jerk if you even mention merroir as a comparable (too many times I have heard this falsity mumbled when dining on my oyster feast). There is no comparison, The Hatchery is hands down divine dining and winning at everything!

Fantastic meal, friendly service, chill music, happy dogs, in a serene setting with a million dollar view of Milford Haven. Big and best ever oyster tacos absolutely superb…crispy fried oysters, delicious pickled red onions, fresh crema and cilantro in a generous flour tortilla. We will be back soon. Congratulations!

Rode out here from RVA and enjoyed the last day of their season. Great atmosphere, views of the bay, and excellent oysters (from Matheson this time). Will definitely be back in the spring with friends.

This is a must visit place if you are in Mathews.

What a fabulous waterfront dining spot on GI!!!! Oyster Po Boy was delish. Can’t wait to come back for an Oyster Basket…maybe tomorrow since it’s right around the corner!
