Goodfellas New York Pizza & Grill - BBQ

First time going here today and I will say we were VERY pleased. The ladies up front were very nice and welcoming! The food was fresh, hot and delicious and The fried green tomatoes were amazing! Don’t listen to the bad reviews on here, considering it’s a freshly opened business there will obviously be kinks until things get settled down. People in Madisonville are just bitter… DON’T KNOCK IT TILL YOU TRY IT!

The owner Jay is top notch and his food is amazing and the quantity you receive is more than enough to fill your stomach. My granddaughter sure loves his bbq and his pizza will more than fill you up with all the toppings he uses so stop by and give him a try and his smoked bologna sandwich is the best I’ve ever had.

Ok, where do I begin???? This was my first time in this establishment. I ordered the Philly Cheese Steak, and OH MY GOSH! It's the best one I've ever had in my LIFE!!! It was so full of flavor and juicy. And the size of this sandwich will blow your mind! I literally sat there for about 10 minutes trying to decide on what to order, but my eyes kept going back to the Philly. I was NOT DISAPPOINTED AT ALL! I even called the owner/manager to let him know how amazing this sandwich was. I can't wait to try a Cuban, reuban, the pastas, pizzas, and BBQ. And the BBQ smells phenomenal! They have it ALL! If you're in Madisonville, this is a must stop for lunch/dinner. I wish I could give them 20 stars. There's a difference in food when it's made by someone who knows and cares about what they're doing. And they know 100% what they're doing here! My new favorite #1 place to go now.

First time visiting this location (though longtime customer at the previous location in Loudon under a different name). We got a LARGE and I do mean LARGE BBQ Pork Pizza. The quality is top notch, the size ENORMOUS, and the price very fair. Pretty much what I have come to expect!

Today was my first time in there and I have to say it was a wonderful experience. Greeted with friendly faces and help all around. Food was delicious and the wait wasn't too bad due to the call in orders and the people in before me...an employee even brought the food to our table as I was with an elderly lady. I will say the Coke Machines are not equipped for short people LOL. Before we left we were asked if we wanted to take a menu with us and will plan on coming back and doing some call in orders. Finally I have found pizza that’s better than I’ve ever imagined prepared by people that have pride in their food and ingredients!! I’ve had more pizza in the last few weeks than I’ve had in 20 years cause fast food pizza doesn’t compare and I didn’t have to go to New York or Italy to be satisfied! It’s not fast food and it’s obvious it’s not mass production assembly line type food! The staff is mannerly and helpful at answering questions and jay and his son takes their food and service personal and they have pride in their work which shows and tastes!! I highly recommend goodfellas and I’ve never had such quality pizza in my life!!

We walked in, staff was friendly, greeted us at the door. Presented us with menus, pointed out that there were places to sit inside if we would like to. We sat down looked over the menu and ordered a few items from appetizers to pizza to wings to bbq plate. Everything was amazing, everything had great flavor, we had tons leftover. Lunch for a day or two more.

Goodfellas Restaurant is an absolute gem! From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with a warm, inviting atmosphere that sets the stage for an incredible dining or to go experience. The menu is diverse, offering a wide range of Italian classics and BBQ. I highly recommend eating here everything is so amazing!!

Boyfriend & I gave up years ago trying to find pizza that was delicious & worth the cost. Last night he surprised me by bringing me the best pizza I've ever had!! Absolutely unmatched by any other! He ate his at the restaurant & met the owner. He got the biggest kick out of him. A true Italian. A true crafter of his cuisine. To those who are complaining about wait times, he has a sign posted that it's not fast food. It definitely is not but that's what makes it positively worth waiting for. Boyfriend devoured the largest pizza they serve by himself. Can't wait to eat there & meet the man behind the pizza that has renewed our taste buds. Thanks to you & your crew!!!

Just got take out. We ordered the Ruben and Philly Cheese Steak. They are both delicious! The Ruben especially!
The sandwiches are both very large.

I installed all of Goodfellas networking, as a reward/tip Jay the owner was kind enough to let me have some huge 2inch thick cut pieces of brisket. If you think you can smoke any meat better or even do the sauces better…you CAN NOT!!! The brisket cuts with a fork and the taste is like no other. My wife and I are so grateful that his restaurant is here in Madisonville. I recommend this place to all. Thanks Jay, your brisket and your hot BBQ sauce is amazing!!!

MADE TO ORDER! FRESH! FAST! CLEAN! I ordered the boars head and turkey. Best dang sandwich this town has seen. I've lived here my whole life. Give this place your money. This place will NOT disappoint you what so ever. If you don't believe all the good review you need to try it yourself 10/10 recommend. No other restaurant in this town compares to my first experience with this place. Jay the owner is the man to bring this town some "goodfellas"

I went the first and second day they opened and let’s just say AMAZING! Pizza is so good. And I honestly think they have the best Jalapeño Poppers so definitely would recommend. Everyone is so friendly. And they have overcome many obstacles starting their business but have kept a great attitude and have tried to work with people. Thank you so much Goodfellas! I will definitely be back!

Kudos to Goodfellas' Restaurant in Madisonville! We just enjoyed the very best rack of ribs we've ever had... Also very much enjoyed the homemade Marinara Sauce, pizza, Alfredo, and Cannolis. We will be back soon! Happy to recommend this place!!!

Great experience. Pizza was some of the best I've ever had, and the staff was very friendly. Perfect crust, not too thick, not too thin, delicious cheese, and great toppings. The owner came around and was very friendly with us, great man with a great business.

We ate at Goodfellas tonight. We loved them when they were in loudon. The food was delicious! Our crew had pizza, wings, brisket sandwiches and the turkey pressed sub. Everything was fabulous. Prices were reasonable with the quality of the food.

The pizza was really good and I really recommend it. I eat a medium pizza whole and it was really good again I really recommend this place. It is in Madisonville Tennessee

Amazing food, good portions, and a very friendly staff! Their pizza is the best I've had in years, and their homemade dips and dressings are incredible! I'd buy the ranch by the bucket full if I could. Will be going again!

Also the food is delicious. It's good to be able to have a choice for authentic pizza versus the commercial establishments.

Let me say this first.
Their system went down, and they handled it with grace. Second day open and poof. They were doing their absolute best to overcome an obstacle. Good job you guys.
Food was good.
I had the brisket my daughter had a cheeseburger and my wife had a calzone.
My daughter was a picky eater. She said the burger was really good. She would order it again.
My wife had the calzone I had some of it and I'll tell you what that was some good crust. The dough just was made just the right way the Marinara sauce, very good, not from a jar.
The brisket was good tender flavorable juicy.
Had a good smoke flavor but not overpowering. So you could still taste the meat. The sweet barbecue sauce was great.
And if you're a big barbecue person like me, it's almost Texas style, but not quite there, not saying that, as a bad thing just to help someone understand.
I think it was Hickory. That they smoked it with least. It smelled more like Hickory than mesquite. Again, just trying to help other people that are barbecue. Folks like me
And let me tell you about the Carrot cake it's really good.
It's not overly sweet. It has a good texture. Good moisture. Frosting was made with real cream cheese.
I don't know if they make it themselves or where they get it. We have to get it somewhere. Good job on ordering it.
We'll eat there again.
